They have scheduled and cancelled 4x.
The poor sap couldn't find my property even though it's on a prominent street at an intersection. And he sounded stoned on the phone.
Good communication - came on earlier side of pickup window
Auriy was on time, pleasant and professional
No call no show on my appointment. Called about it, they could tell me much. Said they would reschedule havent heard from them all day. So I've prepaid and still have a mattress and a new mattress I cant use yet. So annoyed.
Load up changed the scheduled pick multiple time for several days until finally canceling the pick up all together on their end telling us Winkbed would be notified and responsible for finding us another removal service. 3 days of wasted days at home waiting for them and we still have the old mattress sitting here. Back to square one finding another removal service on our own.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIRD PARTY COMPANIES LIKE THESE, COULD BE JUST SCOPING OUT YOUR HOME. EVERYONE ONE THAT CONTACTED ME FROM THE COMPANY HAD THREE OR FOUR WORD LATIN NAMES. IT CLEARLY SAYS REMOVAL INSTALLATION BUT THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME MORE JUST TO TAKE MATTRESS OUT OF BOX AND PUT ON BED.
There was no removal scheduled
The workers were super nice and still helped me, but the secondary site to confirm the removal/installation service only confirmed removal, so they were not instructed initially to do installation.
Removal service was prompt and they did a nice job communicating. The delivery came with no notice and they literally dumped the box in our driveway.
The pickup was scheduled between noon to 4:00. Then, I got a text at 8:10 am saying "expected time of arrival 12pm - 1pm." Great. So I planned my day around that, scheduling important errands in the afternoon ahead of a 4 pm meeting that I had to co-lead.
At noon, I got an email saying the driver "will be on their way soon." As expected. So far so good. But then at 12:27, I got a text from the driver: "Good afternoon. Running a bit behind schedule. Intended on being to you at noon."
I said "No problem. Just give me an idea when you'll get here." I heard nothing and texted again AN HOUR LATER: "It's almost 1:30. Any idea when you'll get here?" I got this reply:" I don't know yet. I'll let you know as soon as I leave."
Not good at all. I started to rearrange my afternoon, thinking I could accomplish a couple important items. At 2:37 I got an email AND a text from LoadUp, saying "Your driver, Robert, is on the way." NO, he wasn't.
I texted him half an hour later 3:07: "What time will you be here?" The driver answered: "GPS says 350."
How in hell does "noon - 1 pm" become 4:00 -- with NO warning, no explanation? I was robbed of 3 hours I really needed that day. The value, before all the irritation? At least $150. With all the irritation? Let's see what you can offer.

They were just okay. Didn't make any extra effort to help move old mattress
Quick, proficient
