ORDERED A BED FRAME. VARIOUS DELIVERY DATES CAME AND WENT WITH NO SIGN OF BED. QUITE SIMPLY THEY DO NOT KNOW WHERE IT IS BUT SAID THEY ATTEMPTED DELIVERY. COMPLETE LIE AS WORKING ON FRONT DOOR ALL DAY. WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF POSSIBLE
My experience of ordering a shed from Wayfair was universally bad.
The price was on the high side, but I had to wait 3 months for delivery. Communication with the company about the delivery date was worse than useless. They seem to outsource this, so when you e-mail them you (eventually!) get a reply which is just coped & pasted from somewhere and does not address the question you asked.
In my case, the shed was delivered without proper confirmation of the date or the promised tracking number by a different courier to the one Wayfair told me would be handling this. The first I knew about this was a call while I was at work saying 'I'm at your house with a shed.'
I also felt the quality of the product was mediocre at best. Many of the screws through the outer cladding of the shed have missed the batten they are meant to go into. Not terminal, but poor workmanship and indicative of zero quality control.
I raised these issued with Wayfair through out, but they have basically told me to f-off.
Whatever you want to buy from Wayfair will be available somewhere else, and I will certainly only be using them as a last resort form now on. My advice to anyone else would be to do the same.
Inadequate, Appalled, Frustrated, Annoyed, Confused…! Words can't express the disappointment I have for this company! It's my first time shopping with Wayfair and unfortunately it hasn't been an experience I would recommend.
Order Date 02/06/2021 After paying in full waiting over 6 weeks having parts of my order delivered, contacting WayFair times & time again, apologies to asked to wait and still no result….
Complete Shambles, I have an email telling me it's a fault an their behalf, and then giving me the customer.! Only two options
1) keep what I have received of my order and have a 15% discount off my original order or store credit.
2) accept a full refund, and send back little bit of my order I have received.
Bearing in mind I have been nothing but Patient… And all I have asked is for the order I made to be full filled…
Obviously this still hasn't happened So both myself & a Member of Staff decided it would be best for the situation to be escalated to Management, giving me some form of contact within 24hours…
This was done Tuesday 13th July 1.31pm by call… now it's Thursday 15th July 7.59pm and still no contact…
The whole thing is a sham….! And yet again it's left to me to contact Wayfair again Tomorrow

Do not waste your time purchasing anything from this company, I constantly called customer services to no avail, given 2. Delivery dates both unfulfilled, apparently patio set was then put on hold due to pricing issue, when I ordered it was £799.00 price now £3000. 00. They then cancelled my order.as reported on other reviews totally untrustworthy. Maybe I had a lucky escape as other reviews state poor quality goods, as for rating them it would be a big fat zero.
We placed an order early this year which delivery was due one month after purchase and was delayed twice. After chasing customer service (via e-mail and over the phone) we got a ridiculous estimated date for mid 2022! Wayfair blames the warehouse BUT here is the thing: Wayfair is offering the same product as SALES but charging TWICE the price and offering 2-weeks delivery. When we asked for explanations, Wayfair cancelled our order without our consent. Basically, Wayfair is breaking deals and shows disregard for customers. I advise any other customer with similar issues to report Wayfair practices to he UK Trading Standards (they help when business has broken the law or acted unfairly: [www]. UPDATE: Had a reply from Wayfair who did not deal with the issues in my review. We did not ask for a refund, we asked for our furniture to be delivered after months of waiting.
Future customers, be aware that Wayfair had decided that if the price wasn't high enough at the moment of your purchase, they will break the deal and will advertise it for more.
One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Placed an order for a tv stand and realised after 24 hours that I ordered it in the wrong colour. The delivery date is confirmed as 20th July and when I requested a cancellation on the 4th July I was told it's too late to cancel as they are preparing to ship it, yet the ETA is still the 20th July! Aine O was particularly unhelpful, would avoid this company at all costs!
Brought a hammock stand for nearly £200 but the wood split within a few months. Requested a refund and told the would collect it & given date. Waited in & nobody came. Despite continual chasing & making a formal complaint I have now wasted 5 days (6 including today) waiting for a collection that never happens. Customer service do not read your emails properly or respond to your points. Instead blanket template emails are sent apologising & promising to do better but then the same thing happens. I reviewed on another site & they tried to respond by saying their management team was assisting me but they are not helping or responding to any of my points. Terrible company & will never use again.
Bought a garden corner sofa Mid-April, had a could of delays which i was fine about. The latest delay i called up to see what is happening. Said they would investigate and come back to me, sent email delaying the investigation. Just got an email through cancelling my order. The sofa is still on their website available to order however now double the cost... Rip off. No help from customer services, advised to look at other sofas. Well will need to wait 3-5 days for my money they have had this whole time. Will NEVER use again.
An absolutely atrocious attitude. They advertise and send the incorrect product. Tough luck. Chat cut short. Will not even consider cashing in the gift card under the circumstances. Just, said now one else would, so we won't and so what if or service is rubbish... Avoid them. Buyer be warned. Chatted with MARK! I can provide a copy of the online chat if you like?
Update. Now they are complaining that I have put in info that is against Trustpilot guidelines, really, please tell me what I have said? Their customer service is non existent, This order didn't start off on the right foot in the first place, and was treated very badly...
I ordered a small double bed from them and at first I was pleased that it arrived ahead of the estimated delivery time, however on arrival it was a king size bed, I had to send pictures and emails proving this with a tape measure and at this point I had already got rid of the bed it was replacing and needed to have this sent back. I contacted customer service online and they arranged a collection which was collected in a few days and they informed me the replacement or correct one would be delivered ASAP. The new delivery came after a week and again it was a king size delivered, this time I refused delivery as I could see by the size that it was far too large and again a king. The delivery guys put refused delivery and i was on the phone immediately to advise wayfair of the situation. The rep told me to send images and an email again, baring in mind we had no bed and I said I refused delivery as it clearly was the incorrect size. I politely asked to get the replacement (correct size) delivered ASAP and I am not going to suffer the inconvenience that they had placed me in at which point they asked if I wanted to cancel, which I didn't as my daughter loves this bed design, so after stating this they advised that it would be within a week as it was actually in stock in the warehouse. However as no notifications were sent by email and I had avoided going away due to the fact I was advised delivery would be within a week, I contacted them again today and low and behold I was advised incorrectly and now I have to wait another month for the right one (if that turns up at all). I asked to speak to someone of higher authority as I have been messed about so much and the customer rep advised that they cannot - what kind of service is this? Highly frustrated and angry at the lack of customer care or competence to get things right.
We had an email from Wayfair to say the item (Which was a heavy overmantle Mirror) had arrived which told us that if we were out the item would be left with a neighbour. A note would be left to say it had been delivered. We were in all day on purpose to recieve the item. We did not know it had arrived till we got the email late in the day. Nobody had let us know it had arrived. Nobody had contacted us to say it had arrived. It was left on the groung floor in a public area by a sign which says nothing should be left in this area as it is apublic area and things have been stollen. My husband is nearly 70 and had to manhandle this item up to the Third floor. This is disgusting and if they cannot apologise properly we will not use them ever again nor recommend them. The query we raised got a pass the buck reply.
First and last time that I will use wayfair. Very unhand way to run a business! Ordered 6 single dining chairs as the pairs (which were cheaper) were apparently out of stock. When the order arrived, guess what I received! 3 sets of pairs! I phoned wayfair to complain about this and they just said sorry. No offer to rectify it or refund the difference that they had fraudulently charged me. They didn't care. As for the product themselves, not really impressed with the quality, as I paid over £700 for 6 chairs I really didn't expect them all to have various threads hanging off of them where they have not been finished properly. I will buy elsewhere next time.
Can not tell ppl enough to avoid this company. Utter rubbish wish I'd seen reviews before I ordered. Wudnt order a toilet roll from this outfit daylight robbers!
Bespoke Part missing. Replacement requested. 3 week wait for the missing part! Refused to compensate for this big inconvenience (my house is not a storage warehouse). Really poor customer service will not use again and recommend you do not.
I bought a ottoman bed from wayfair £359.99 and bought 3years protection £23.92. This came with broken parts / they did replace the broken parts and said if I keep the bed as is I can get 20% as paying this in 3 instalments. The last payment due now hasn't been taken off £71.99 as promised. After months of sorting this out / Chat rooms/phone calls and today customer service has said the 20% offer was only if I kept the broken bed and they didn't have to send a part. Who in there right mind spends a lot of money on an item to keep broken and get discount. They have not kept there word and been awful to deal with. I shall send them the bed back as is and get a full refund and go elsewhere to a good company and spend my money. No duty of care to me.
I have placed multiple ordered with Wayfair and despite claiming to offer fast shipping I was waiting 4 weeks. Only when contacting them was I told that they couldn't deliver because Brexit complications. Most of their items are actually not even in stock, they just keep postponing delivery dates! Ordered from The Range instead and received my items within a week... seems Brexit complications only affect unprofessional companies then!
I ordered a sun lounger in April or May last year, very good reviews so seemed like a good deal at £44. Several days later it was delivered; it was in fact a camp bed. I went through the packaging but there were no returns instructions. We were in lockdown so everything was a bit more complicated than usual, so although I looked up the wayfair returns centre, I had to print a label to return the camp bed and have no printer at home and my office was closed. The camp bed (which was labeled as a sunbed) was of no use to me so I just gave it to a friend. 8
DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM WAYFAIR DURING COVID.
THEY ARE NOT DELIVERING FURNITURE TO YOUR HOME.
THIS IS NOT COMMUNICATED ANYWHERE UNTIL IT ARRIVES!
If you live in a building, very heavy, large items will not be delivered to your home. You will have to figure out how to get the furniture to your apartment.
This is the equivalent of leaving someone's heavy furniture at the end of the road. Absolutely ridiculous.
They don't communicate this crutial piece of information at anytime when placing your order. I absolutely would not have ordered anything if I knew this.
This is absolutely an excuse of convenience as everyone else is delivering directly to homes. And they quickly put the blame on their delivery agents as though it's not their responsibility to manage, nor communicate this before orders are placed.
It's also worth noting my very quiet building is fully managed, they wouldn't even need to press the lift button, it's done by reception. It has wide hallways, cleaned daily and everyone you may see all wear masks. The 3 lifts are virtually empty during the day and if not empty, another lift will arrive in 10-30 seconds.
If Wayfair.co.uk put as much energy into making sure they delivered what you ordered it would be a good company. We placed first (and last) ever order for a bathroom cupboard. Arrived missing parts, any bolts etc and no instructions. Customer service said they'd send a new one then we got a confusing email but basically they didn't stock it anymore. Don't be fooled by the slick adverts - terrible company.
Answer: Misleading advertising, inferior products, make you pay to return products, generic answers when you complain, as though one shoe fits all, not a customer centric. Company, absolutely disappointed with them, I thought nonsense like this had stopped 20 yrs ago, people In lockdown due to virus and some companies using the opportunity to sell rubbish online with fake advertising - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM save yourself the frustration, money and waste if your own preciouse time - they really don't care about you at all
Answer: Had to use them, as we were given a gift card, not refundable. Will never ever use them again.
