$#*!test company ever
July 4, 2018

For real, worst company ever. I'll never deal with em again. I just never seen anything like this before, my box was supposed to be shipped last week, a week later I go at livechat with the $#*! of Tyrus, then he just say me to do the same thing he said last week, this is the second week he says me to ''update the box'' but they are soo stupid they can't even add my box items, so I DON'T EVEN KNOW what is inside the box. They take 3 days to take a picture, 3 days to repack, 3 days to ''prepare the shipment'' that wont be done soon...

The $#*!TEST company ever.

Oh I forget to say, WHAT A EXPENSIVE COMPANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

( I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I'LL GET MY ITEMS)

Tip for consumers:

ABSOLUTELY they are a scam...
April 25, 2012

ABSOLUTELY they are a scam... sorry, this is long but shows the scammers that they are... email string between them and myself. I only wish we could post NEGATIVE stars here.

=========
When attempting to ship this item, it's only giving me Fedex as a shipping option. Also, how do I request the item is repackaged? The dimensions the shipper put the items in is huge compared to the items and they can easily fit in a padded envelope. Also, the page with my forwarding address will not allow me to enter hyphens, which is required in Japan and it will also not accept the state/prefecture that I am in and keeps deleting it. Please advise. Thanks.
=========
At this time, we only ship by Fedex Express and Fedex Standard to your country because they offer the lowest shipping rates to that destination and for security reasons.
=========
I really do not want any of my packages to be sent via express services due to the high cost; usually at least twice the cost of USPS. The site says fairly clearly that USPS is available as an option and even advertises that point as a comparable to other forwarders. The previous companies I used for forwarding sent via USPS with no problems. Tracking, insurance and any other services are the same. Again, I would like my package sent via USPS as a Priority Mail International padded envelope after being repackaged. This should be $16.95. I DO NOT want my package sent via Fedex. If there was any indication that you couldn't send to Japan via USPS then I would never have signed up. I feel very misled at this point. I understand you guys need to make a profit and that profit is most likely made with the discounts on your account with Fedex etc. The issues with USPS are not about security or price for the customer. Again, please send as requested.
It would also be helpful to MANY people to list which services you are willing to use to which countries BEFORE people sign up and order goods from merchants.
=========
Note that shipping via USPS will cost you more than FedEx. To ship via USPS Express Mail is $71.85 and via USPS Priority Mail is $69.08
=========
Again, 1lb Priority Mail International padded flat-rate envelope to Japan is $16.95. This is the method I would like my package shipped please. The package contains two keychains that will easily fit in that envelope and weigh less than 1lb. If, for your own security, you require proof that you have sent the package, Certificate of Mailing can be added for $1.15, which I am more than happy to accept.

Again, I understand you need to make a profit. Perhaps allowing packages via USPS but tacking on a service charge for that option in the future.
=========
Are you waiting for more items to arrive in your suite? Or do you want me to forward your request for repackaging now so I can send you an updated shipping cost for USPS?

Note that Viaddress only charges customers for forwarding their packages.
=========
That is the only package so it can get repacked thanks. I'm not negotiating rates; I just don't want or need any express services. Priority mail is fine.
=========
I will forward your request for repack to our warehouse and will send you a USPS estimate once it has been carried out. Thank you
=========
To ship this item via USPS Priority Mail is $65.45

Or, you can log into your account and click on ""Ship Now"" button, to complete payment for shipping fees to your country so we can forward your item to you.
=========
I don't know how many times I'm going to have to explain this.

As stated previously; this is not a negotiation of shipping rates. This is the SERVICE that I have requested now FOUR times. Two keychains in a padded envelope do not cost $65 to ship. Please follow my request which you AGREED to and send it. I clearly stated that I only wanted it sent Priority mail flat rate and that I did not want any express services used. If you are now refusing to do that then I suppose I will have to look at my options with the BBB etc.
=========
As mentioned earlier Viaddress does not charge for the following services:

NO Membership Fees
NO Handling or Processing Fees
NO Fuel Surcharge Fees
NO Repackaging Fees
NO Consolidation Fees
NO Storage Fees
NO Discard/Trashing Fees
NO Commercial Invoice Fees
NO Customs paperwork preparation Fees
NO Higher shipping fees for Non-Premium members

The rates that are on your account and or our shipping calculator or on our USPS estimate are non negotiable. The rates that you would see on USPS.com will not be the same. You can always have the merchants ship your items directly to you in Japan, or you can always choose the next shipping service available for your country.

Please refrain from using threatening language as this will not get you cheaper shipping rates.
=========
So you don't charge for services but inflate shipping charges. That is incredibly dishonest and immoral. I also fail to see what you regard as a "threat" in my previous message. At the moment you are holding my item hostage and trying to extort ridiculous shipping charges from me. You also ignored my previous instructions that were perfectly clear. You may also want to review USPS policies which bar anyone from adding onto postage charges. I was clear as to which service I wanted. Since it seems clear you are intent on extorting your clients, being dishonest and engaging in misleading advertising, I would ask that you return the item to the shipper. If you refuse to do that, I absolutely will take this further with the BBB, the Consumerist and share this experience and email string with my 1500+ followers and coworkers. The expat community is very close knit and looks out for each other most of the time. At the end of the day I'm in this for about $10 for a couple keychains and a learning experience. If you prefer to be difficult and greedy, that is your choice. My work IS social media and SEO; I'm happy to make Viaddress my new "pet project" although I'd rather not.
=========
We have done nothing dishonest or immoral. When you signed up for our service it specifically states that we charge based of dimensional weight OR actual weight depending on which is higher. We do not charge based on USPS rates or FedEx rates. The international standard to determine the billable weight of a shipment is the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight. We are sorry that you are unhappy with your shipping charges but our rates are not negotiable. There is a shipping calculator on our website that you can check before you have anything shipped to us for future reference. Thank you!
=========

Sorry it's so long... this is ongoing. Basically what they are doing is making up their OWN rates. They say they don't charge anything other than shipping... but they just make up shipping charges. As they say in the messages, rates on the USPS website etc will show "different rates".

Bottom line... these guys are ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS! I was trying out the service with a low-cost item... glad I did.
