Accounts, mobile app, and list of instruments, all of this is fine. However, I cannot say spreads are the tightest in the market. They're wider than usual, but it's just a small drawback.
Luckily I could get their premium acc, depositing 5k. It gave me cool benefits, for example lower spreads. Lower than market average, idk to what extent it's lower than on standard acc🤔
Trading is hard, I underestimated it. Opened a real acc with vcg markets right away thinking I would be able to earn effortlessly, but reality hit me hard and I blew my first depo fast…
Didn't stop tho, started to focus on edu and practice on a demo acc more. Been on a grind for 6 months and now feeling much more confident! Broker itself is solid, can't complain about them.
Vcg markets offers favourable trading conditions with a modern trading platform that has tradingview charts in it. Tbh, it can't get better than this ;)
Vcg as a broker with the trading terms is just fine. Nothing special. But the tools that they have created, such as the ONE score and TSS itself are worthy to start trading here. I have optimizes my trading system, with risk, with trending frequency… with everything and made it even more profitable
There are no other apps other than a mobile app. Anyway, that's more than enough... Imo, it's not inferior to the common MT4 and MT5.
I mainly trade indices long term, it's positional trading and swing trading too, and it's going very nice at the moment. My top picks are:
- SP500
- JPN225
- DAX40
- UK100
These are in this order, and uk100 i have the least orders but still sometimes it provides me with a nice opportunity. At first I thought overnight fees are going to get me, but turns out those are not bad, especially if you catch that trend, the return covers all the fees so you dont worry about those. Intraday trading these indices is alright too, but I just see more options on long-term.
I like the table that's 100% transparent with all sorts of costs they have, swaps and spreads and margin requirements are there. The costs are quite alright, standard acc.
Tbh wasnt prepared for how in-depth it can get... learning the tools that VCG gave to me, with using Gemini now. I recommend, not doing it a lone. I have experience in investing in ETFs etc, but I had no idea trading can get so complicated, and there are so many tools to download, and to uinnstall on charts. Kind of mindblowing.
VCG market can't show off a wide range of account types which is strange, but even so, a single account isn't as bad as many might think. It offers narrow spreads not only on major currencies, but also on minor and exotic pairs!
Keep an eye on overnight swaps if you hold trades longer than usual, for weeks or months. They can quietly eat into profits if you don't factor them in. I checked swap tables before committing to swing trades, gotta admit, they're not the lowest, some major pairs are highly expensive in terms of swaps, while others are cheaper.
Some may neglect using it and it's completely opposite for me, I'm trying to use it as much as I can to sharpen my skills. I had a bad first experience with live acc, because i had no exp. Now I understand the game, backtested for a while and now I feel so much more confident on a live account.
'Discover how to read and interpret technical analysis Like a Pro!' - was very useful here, and was free.
Some fake gurus on the web try to make me pay $69, $490 for a similar course =D but this one, much better, from real trader, and all for free (I got it from just registering with them, didnt even pay anything). The teaching style is good, and I have got all the info about trading. Made my first few ETH trades last week, since it was moving a lot, and earned some from positive swaps on GBP/JPY too.
So far, for me personally its an easy 5. Gave me more than I gave them, thats for sure.
- accounts can be better balanced, because premium is still a bit more expensive and I'd like it to be more affordable, or there can be one more account inbetween
- payments are nice and smooth, e-wallets are there and deposit arrived quickly
- spreads are not that wide on standard, if we are talking forex majors and other popular assets
- analytical help is there as well
Ok, for me Metatrader platformn abundance is something that talks directly about the reliability of the broker. Idk why just more experienced people from my circle advised this. It looked clean and neat so I opened an account. What they forgot to mention is how hard it might be trading there. Too much new knowledge and advanced features, like analytics from trading central. Everybody likes in tecknical side and it gave me results but what orders to open I hesitated.
My final opinion, the platform is ok, if the time spend on its learning. For traders who is familiar with it, I guess very decent option.
Only does 1 thing here - Market Buzz. It shows which assets are talked about online today (or last 30,90 days). For example, I saw that EUR/INR is the top-3 most popular pair, interesting. And USD/CNH second popular. Never even heard about such a pair xD But actually turns out, its present on VCG too. Started trading it, going kinda allright. At least its liquid, hey.
VCG's keeping it safe, and i respect that. Here, my checklist of the safety features:
Regulation - check
Negative balance stop - check
Funds separation - check Safety should ALWAYS come first, and I'm tired of broker who put fees above everything else
No significant negativity in vcg markets reviews, for not giving them a shot. I liked their MT5, which operates smoothly without interruptions. Great speed of withdrawals! I noted
Answer: Yeah, probably. They have energy CFDs (e.g., crude oil, Brent, gas) on the platform. And they have MT5 with ECN-style execution. That is a nice combo indeed. Right now, oil prices are moving very very fast. Some one tweet can push them +-15%, in an hour lol. So having ECN exec on all top energies, a huge deal. If you are a swing-trader ofc, that is not as important.
Answer: That’s a good question, and honestly, idk. It’s common for brokers to ask for a higher initial deposit for the raw spread accounts, which is the premium here.
Answer: Vcg club has lots of real advantages that actually makes it worth it. First of all, you will get regular market insights that are great to use, even if you are an experienced trader who can find opportunities by yourself. Sometimes you can’t find any right set ups or price action seems odd, that’s the moment where you can check their insights and maybe get an inspiration for a trade. It happened to me several times, and I was able to make profits. Secondly, it will give you all the premium account benefits. Can’t list all of them, it’s better for you to go and check those benefits on their website :D and lastly, you will get exposure to advanced trading strategies. They are actually hard to use, but after practicing for a while you can really master them.
Answer: Yes of course, why wouldn’t you rely? They are not telling you to open certain positions or make technical analysis, it’s just insights on the market overall. News plays a huge role in the trading world, which is why it’s important to be informed of what’s happening at the moment. Hence, vcg just publishes those news so that traders will be more aware. However, they are not publishing them as often as I would like. So, make sure to check the news yourself as well.
Answer: On the first look u might say that not much makes it different, but if you trade for a while you will notice things. First of all, it is trading costs. If you are a trader using intraday techniques, then spreads are important, and here they are in tight range. Well, surely during some economic data releases they get widened, but that is the nature of the market and all brokers have it, but apart from that the range is tight. Then, if to take longer period trading, then swpas come into play, I have had here positions held for more than several weeks and never had huge costs... Apart from that, there is VCG social trading app, basically VCG social is a platfrom just like copytrading, there you can find top performing traders and replicate their trades. Great feature for beginners and soem side income for more experience traders as well. THe trading app itself is also nice, it has all the neccessary tools, I like the section on market news, for example, whever a major news related to the stock is released, i double check the price, I usually look for associated pattern...
Answer: There is a bunch of cryptocurrneis available on the paltrofm. Especially de-fi altcoins, this is a main trend right now and everyone wants to trade only cryptos that are useful for society. A few of memcoins available also but I don’t trade them, they’re not logical, a trash for gambling players.
Answer: From my experience, if you’re looking for something simple but with a cutting-edge user interface, then choosing their mobile app may be a good choice for you. On the other hand, if you’re a trader with some experience and prefer to use advanced indicators and tools for complex trading, then going for the MT5 is a better choice.
Answer: Sure they can! If you're willing to deposit 5k, the spreads will be much lower and you're going to get sick perks like instant withdrawals and VIP level support. You shouldn't feel like you have to join it though; I think it's worth it if you can comfortably afford it and find these features interesting, but in any other case not joining the club is not that big a deal either
