USA Today

I'm done with USAToday.com. There are hundreds of ads, pop up videos, and sponsored advertising that make it impossible to efficiently read the news. I have a powerful laptop but even it cannot keep up with the constant bombardment of advertising that USAToday is choosing to bother its clients with on a regular basis. EASE UP. I challenge the executives at USAToday to try t read their own website and stories. Someone there needs to grow up and learn how to manage a website for both customers and advertisers! There is a happy medium.

STAY AWAY! Home delivery NEVER actually gets delivered. They will take your order and money online but you will never get the paper, and then in order to cancel or even report a delivery problem you have to call during their limited business hours and sit on hold for a LONG time. I used to order this for my Mom each time she came for her annual long term visit with me. Each year for several years we had this same problem so this is not a one time thing. Normally I would not return to do business at such a place but it was for my Mom. At this point even she has given up. STAY AWAY

I tried to get home delivery of USA Today and couldn't. I placed an order for home delivery of USA Today based on a recommendation from my next door neighbor who gets daily delivery in his driveway. When the first day's paper wasn't there I used USA Today's website to report a missing paper. All I got was an auto-reply and no paper the next day. I called their customer service department and got a call center in India. The agent kept apologizing and said the paper would be delivered the following day. Guess what? Next day, no paper. Called again and asked to speak with a supervisor, who didn't speak English any better. He continued to apologize but in the end did nothing to get a paper delivered to me.

I tried using USA Today's feedback system - nothing.
Continued calling their customer 'dis'service center - nothing.

I guess my neighbor is one of the lucky ones as I couldn't get USA Today ever deliver a single paper to my home.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISITNG.

I ordered the paper in June for my husband who is in jail. I paid 50 dollars and never ever got a single paper! Not one so I have now called 7 times and was even told I would get a 10 dollar credit because of the inconvenience BUT lies LIES LIES AND come to find out there's no note of that call! And so low and behold it's MY FAULT their employees don't do their job so I can't get my money back that they got immediately they had no problem taking my money but even with verification and detailed billing showing I had in fact called and spent a long time on the phone and the prison having proof that they never got a single paper all I get is a I'm sorry there's no notes! THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD HIRE PEOPLE THAT DO THEIR JOB IT ISNT MY FAULT THEY DIDNT PUT ANY NOTES AND WHAT ABOUT ALL THE THIS CALL IS RECORDED BLAH BLAH! I am so livid and I can't even request to talk to a supervisor till next week and that's not a for sure I can ask to speak to one put a request that most likely will not be approved because there's no notes! CRAP CRAP CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAP I feel like I was totally ripped off and that I've got nothing but the run around and then made it seem like I WAS AT FAULT IVE DONE MY PART BUT GOT NOTHING BUT CRAP FROM USA TODAY!

I think its ridiculous that a news publication goes to events of all kinds and sends well trained photographers that catch great images of spectacular moments and then doesn't let those images see the light of day outside their own companys use. People have no problem paying for great work that has been done so why does this company not allow these purchases (like every other news/photo company) to occur absolutely baffles me. It is truly disappointing and something that should be looked at higher up.

Nearly every article on this website's homepage is about praising Hillary Clinton in some way, or directly attacking Donald Trump. They aren't even trying to mask their obvious loyalty to a particular political party. Objective reporting is non-existent from this news brand. One such article I read has actually made the ridiculous claim of following up on a story that was originally published on the Huffington Post- an extreme leftist political blog posing as a legitimate news outlet. Maybe there was a time when USA Today had respectability, but "today" it certainly does not.

Which might not be bad if they were selling comic books or diapers, but USA Today purports to be the nation's NEWSPAPER, for God's sweet sake. It gives a piss-poor representation of national news, and less than adequate coverage of local news. And in order to write to them to TELL them they're doing a piss-poor job, you have to sign up for their service, allowing them to market to you. NO THANKS. I'm not giving my email address, much less my real world address, to a bunch of scammers who think that the crap USA Today spews constitutes actual COVERAGE.
