I can only confirm what many previous reviewers have already described.

Warning: Extremely unprofessional handling of cancellations. The matter is currently being reviewed by my lawyer.

I cancelled my UpGrow subscription in March 2025 via email and support chat. For a short period, my account was switched to a "free plan," but without my consent it was later reactivated.

Starting in November 2025, recurring charges of $299 appeared again (including additional charges of $99 and $199 on separate dates). My credit card has been charged for several months, despite there being no active contractual relationship and my account being set to "paused" since cancellation.

I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with support, submitting several cancellation requests via support chat and their ticket system. I also contacted them via email — after which my emails were apparently blocked.
For months, I was told the issue would be resolved, but the charges continued.

I have now initiated a chargeback procedure through my bank and will likely need to cancel my credit card entirely to prevent further charges.

At this point, it appears that I may only be able to recover the amount (over €1,000) through legal action.

Conclusion: Stay away from this service.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've had with any online service.

First, the growth results were nowhere near what was advertised. The follower numbers promised on their website were not delivered. Over several months, the growth was minimal, inconsistent, and my account even started losing followers while their service was supposedly "optimizing" it.

But the real issue is billing.

On 29 December, I was charged despite having no active subscription. I contacted them immediately, and on 12 January I received a refund along with written confirmation that:

My account was closed

I would not be charged again

Then, on 17 February, I was charged AGAIN.

No subscription.
No authorization.
No renewal approval.
No direct debit mandate.

Being charged once by mistake is bad enough. Being charged again after written confirmation that the account was closed is extremely concerning.

Each time, I had to chase them, demand explanations, and request refunds. Responses were generic and repetitive. Instead of taking responsibility, they hide behind "terms of service" while continuing to process payments.

Customers should not have to:

Fight to stop unauthorized charges

Monitor their bank accounts constantly

Repeatedly request refunds for money taken without consent

This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company.

If you value your time, your money, and your peace of mind, think very carefully before giving them access to your payment details.

PUBLIC WARNING ABOUT UPGROW

I have been dealing with unauthorized recurring charges from Upgrow for nearly TWO YEARS after being told multiple times that my subscription was canceled.
Each time I contact them, they tell me:
It was a "mistake"
They will "look into it"
They will refund me
They have canceled my account
They have deleted my card
And yet the charges continue.
This has happened repeatedly despite written assurances. At this point, the pattern speaks for itself.
If you read through reviews carefully, you will see many people reporting the exact same experience — continued billing after cancellation.
You may also notice that under negative reviews, there are responses saying it was just a mistake and that they are a "great company." Look closely at some of the 1-star reviews that strangely contain glowing praise. Ask yourself why someone would leave a 1-star rating if everything was so amazing. Read beyond the surface and scroll through all reviews before making a decision.
If this happens to you: File a dispute with your bank immediately
Request a new card number
File a complaint with your state Attorney General
Report the company to the FTC
Consider filing a police report for documentation
Keep all communication in writing
Do not rely solely on chat or email promises. Monitor your bank statements carefully.
When hundreds or thousands of consumers report the same billing issue, that is not something to ignore.
I am sharing my experience so others can protect themselves.

They are going to write under my review it was a mistake and they are a great company like they do under every complaint but check all great 1 star reviews that have nothing but great things to say are obviously fake reviews because why would you rate upgrow 1 star if its so fantastic? Lol. They are writing the great 1 star reviews to push down the legitimate 1 star reviews so keep scrolling and you will thousands of people stating they continued to charge them for years after canceling. They know seeing so many people say the same thing shows how criminal and negligent they are. Do not believe them when they tell you to send them your information by chat or email and they can always be reach they always lie and say they will look into it and refund and cancel your account and delete your card cause they been telling me this every month for TWO YEARS lol. Ive never seen a company so criminal in my life. Let's all work together to take upgrow down

TOTAL SCAM! They stole $3700+

I have been dealing with unauthorized billing from UpGrow for over six weeks, and the situation continues to get worse.

I was charged approximately $3,700 for a subscription I do not recall knowingly signing up for. When I tried to manage or cancel the subscription, the "Manage Subscription" page would not load. I had no way to remove my credit card or stop the billing myself.

Since January 12, I have:

Repeatedly requested cancellation

Been told refunds were "under review"

Been told refunds were "processed"

Been told there was a "chargeback issue"

Been told to "wait until next week" — multiple times

I have received only one partial refund.

Yesterday, after being assured billing was stopped, I was charged another $399.

There has been:

No proof of refunds

No transaction IDs

No clear accounting of what has been reversed

No access to manage my account

No escalation to an actual decision-maker

Every response has been a variation of "we've escalated it" or "please wait."

At this point, this feels less like a billing error and more like a systemic failure in their subscription and refund process.

If you are considering using this service, understand that if something goes wrong, resolution may take months — and you may not have control over your own billing.

I would strongly caution anyone against providing payment details to this company until they demonstrate a functioning and transparent billing system.

Fraudulent

This is highly fraudulent... I reed it in 2024. Cancelled it a few months later. They kept my CC info, and randomly got a charge in December, since then I have been trying to get a refund, and they will not first saying that I have filed a claim (which I Hadn't) and then saying to give it 3-5 days... it is now February, still no refund, and they just attempted to charge me again. I have now marked the transaction as fraud and filing a claim for the December charge. DO NOT subscribe. For site jabber, you guys are asking me to add a proof of purchase, but that's the whole point, there is no purchase, they just keep charging my card.

This company is a complete LIE. Everything from the automated bots that answer the live chat, the google reviews that don't even exist, and their promises. I went into their website ONCE, when asked for a free trial I accpeted, inputting my credit card details. They charged straight off, (no free trial), so I cancelled immediately and they issued a refund. That was August 2024. Come to find they charged my card on September, October, November and December. Each month adding more to the charge, starting at $99 and ending in December with a whopping $350 charge. I have tried contacting them over 100 times and always get a BOT answer. I have cancelled my card, contacted authorities and are looking for a legal route to get my money back.

As per all the other reviews on here, this company is a SCAM as they use bots and all their 'followers' are 'professionals' with closed profiles, complete red flag. I cancelled my subscription with them and demanded a refund in 2024 as I found their 'service' to be a complete SCAM. They issued the refund. They charged me in September 2025 and issued a refund everntually but of course each time I lose money because of the ROE fluctuation. Today, another subscription has gone off my account. I've had no option but to cancel my card and report it to my bank as FRAUD. I've also reported this company to the FTC as well as the payment providers they list on their website as a result of their fraudulent transactions. Next step is to report them to Meta. Stay away. NOTE: their website is upgrow.com and their transactions go off your account as upgrowcrm - they are NOT to be confused with upgrowcrm.com which is a legit company from my research. Stay away!

This company is a total scam. They won't cancel when you request, they hold your card info and won't let you have access to it. You will be forced to close your card or do chargebacks. They pay for fake good review and are under investigation on numerous review sites. The followers are all fake bots. They are impersonating another company as well and claim their founders. Buyer Beware

We signed a customer up for their Turbo AI Plan and selected USA and Canada targets. The Upgrow dashboard shows 75% came from these markets, our customers' IG account shows 85% came from Bangladesh.

We only received 1,027 Followers of the "3,500 - 5,000+ Real Followers /mo" in their Turbo Plan.

We have contacted them several times to cancel the account, but they refuse to respond and continue to bill our credit card $299/month.
