The tree arrived in great shape. It was clearly thriving and put out a new shoot as soon as it was planted. I do have a complaint, though. I live in Florida and state laws are strict about agricultural products. I understand this. When I received a notice that the tree had been shipped, I assumed it had been shipped to me, and waited anxiously for its arrival. After a week I called customer service to see if something was wrong and discovered that the tree was coming from a Florida supplier and would be shipped the following day. It would have been much better if I had been told about the shifting of trees between suppliers when the first shipment notice arrived. It's good business practice to keep your customers fully informed,. The incident has left me feeling less than positive about my experience with this supplier

The plants were delivered in 2 long boxes, with outside instructions to keep the boxes laying flat. When I finally discovered them [they were delivered to the back of the house instead of the front door, where 99.9999% of UPS, USPS & FedEx packages are delivered] they were both standing on the ends of the boxes. I noticed immediately that one of the crotons was "on its head" with the leaves pointing down and the bucket with rootball & dirt was on top. Not good. Also one of the 3 crape myrtle's had a couple of primary "trunks", instead of 4-6 major trunks - with one of the trunks having 3-4 "major" trunks coming out of the primary. I'm concerned about how this will develop as it matures. It appears to me that this variety should have 4-5 major trunks, each rooted solidly in the ground, not several "major" trunks coming from one that is rooted in the ground. If a photo would help, I could send one to a cell phone if provided

I paid a couple of dollars for this, and extra for delivery. I was expecting a small tree not a large branch. Perhaps that's just me, never bought a tree in my life. Also after i ordered i said to myself. Whoops perhaps I shouldn't have bought this now right before winter. Neither the person I spoke to at your company in advance when looking for advice nor your website mentioned this. If it did I missed it. I put it in two weeks ago I hope it doesn't die :) I have no clue about this. The little packets of fertilizer were kinda of weird to me. They were tiny and expensive and they asked for a review. What would I say.?. It was a small bag and I chucked in the whole... and hurried it with the tree branch... I have no idea if it was good, bad, or anything else. I hope my tree grows into something like the beautiful picture I saw on the site :) I'd love for you to check in, in the spring :)

I ordered two plants. One plant turned black and dead within a week; the other seems to be thriving. The plants were packed very haphazardly: The box was clearly marked with "this end up;" inside, one of the plants was in the box with pot carefully enclosed in plastic to keep the soil in the pot, and the pot at the "down" end (so the green and growing end of the plant would have been "up"). The other plant was just boxed up with no preparation or plastic to protect the pot and roots, and put in the box with the green end facing the "down" end of the box. (So, the plants were packaged with the leaves of each facing one another -- no matter what happened, one was going to be dumped out.) One plant arrived effectively bare root -- the soil was in the box, but the roots were "up" and the soil was in the leaves.
