Zero stars. Really bad message board filled with hypocrisy and censorship. Worse fans in all of sports. Embarrassing. Mike Condre should close the site for good. What a place for hate filled remarks. He bans people for no reason. He then allows some man boy from ATL (BuckheadIndy) to get banned and create another account (9+ accounts or more). Jim Wilke is a racist and Islamaphobe. Stay away from this place. Real fans don't even look on this site.
Way too much censorship and disinformation. Wouldn't recommend to people who are young, seems to have the older generation who don't like the present series.
This site is a waste of time due to the moderator(s). He will arbitrarily decide whether or not he likes you. If he doesnt, it doesnt matter what you post, you will eventually be penalized/banned/verbally assaulted continually with no end. If he does like you, you can say whatever you want with impunity. Theres no rhyme or reason to it. Selective enforcement at its worst. And most of the people that post are CART losers who are stuck in the past and give current INDYCAR fans a bad name. These people are losers! There are a few good posters left, but before long they will all be chased away by the crazy mods.
I visited thia site a few days ago. Seemed hostile. I won't be back. Way too many stupid people with thin skin. They even have a thread about site jabber.

Don't read any other reviews. Mine is the only one that matters. Track Forum is the Heaven's Gate of racing forums. It is the Living End. Trust me on this. The users are generally well informed if also well opinionated and a good deal of those opinions are crap but that's what forums are all about anyway. There's plenty of room to spray your venom should you desire and as much bounceback as you can (and should) expect.
Like I said, forget the naysayers. My opinion is the only one that counts here. Don't let Truth Detector tell you otherwise; I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Track Forum is the best. THE BESTEST. Now go and sin no more.
The most Indiana-centric site on the web. If you're not from Indiana, you will not fit in. Also, the moderator is a psychopath.
Anna wasn't exaggerating. Same crap goes on today. Like drinking a fifth of vodka a day. You know it will kill you, but you keep going back to the liquor store. The site is like the series it promotes. A parody. Entertainment with no socially redeeming value.
Tf is a site for "place fans" of the Indy 500 and the speedway. They do not care for the series since it takes away from Indy. Tony George is their God.
The owner of Tf Mike Condre, has to use 3 different names to police the site for evil CART fans. Turn 13, Do it again, and Gary the Moose. Condre is a hypocrite who keeps 2 of the biggest aholes around for some strange reason. John Howard who goes by both Defender and Team Chevy and Ren Butler. Ren Butler gets offended very easily and for no reason, and basically wants people to be a loser like him.
Probably the best racing site on the interwebs. Period. Oh, Atlas is awfully good too, but TF is at least their equal if not better. Forget the business about the moderation; it is way improved and the worst of the lot has more or dried up anymore (he didn't clean up very well, if you ask me) and the rest are pretty good. They allow a lot of leeway, even by the CARTisans who have taken to haunting the place since their series went the way of the dodo.
The Nostalgia forum is amazing. There's a pretty active F1 forum as well, and the Off Topic area is always entertaining. And if you must discuss your hatred for the current administration, whatever it might be, you'll feel more than welcome in the Current Events swillage. Especially if you are of the reactionary stripe.
Conclusion: if you are a race fan, TF is the place to be. And f you are an IndyCar fan, well, pull on those hip boots and wade on in.
Beware of this site. Good discussions overall and quite educational. Unfortunately, it is run by a moody, inconsistent owner/administrator who bans people on random enforcements of his rules, while letting other posters do the same thing, with nothing being said. If anyone complains, he bans them. Although the majority of the posters are conservative in nature and post quite well-thought out posts, he consistently caters to a few really far out leftist posters who are allowed to get away with murder. He discriminates against certain posters for reasons only he knows, while overlooking, excusing or refusing to answer why he condones the same actions when committed by others. They aren't the problem. He is.
Also, edits posts by posters which really doesn't help the conversations if someone has replied to a certain aspect or thought of another poster, only to come back later and see that their response is now totally unrelated to the previous post. Why? Because the administrator has changed the post, either one, to reflect what he thinks was the meaning. Apparently, he's famous for all the above (according to other sites that post on the same content as his forum does).
Randomly deletes posts with no reason why. He's lost some very good posters as a result, who see what's he's doing (all the above) and don't want to have anything to do with what he's doing.
Maybe he's going through midlife crisis? Don't know. But, stay away unless you enjoy being treated this way by someone with a God complex.
