He was very involved and knowledgeable about the process and made sure I was aware of the processes involved. Was patient in listening and answering questions I had.Highly reccomend.
Not honored by most home service maintenance companies -- they don't pay there bills on time. Also known as Service Plus Home Warranty -- they changed their name. I had to hire a company to fix my septic tank in February and this home warranty promised reimbursement -- it is June and I have not recieved any reimbursement. Don't fall into this trap!
Do not do business with this company, they always have a reason for why something isn't covered. They only take care of something very small. I had to replace 2 ac units and 2 furnances, they said normal wear wasn't covered, my ice maker isn't making ice, I paid for a tech to come here and tech said need to replace it, but total home said it wasn't cover because it was part of a ice crusher, always a reason. Worst company ever.
I have 3 houses enrolled with them and I haven't rec any help on anything they stolen my money saying that they will covering for any repairs or replacement appliances and I had open a few claim without getting any help from them, the technician take a week to show up to do a dish and when they come they write a report helping they saying things that swallow they to tel you that they no cover that part because is your fault for having the appliances in that condition.don't do biso with them and let's get together to take them to court My AC fan broke off they didn't cover because they tho the coils was dirty and make the fan to go out:
Their technicians replace the fan installed backwards I pay 800 dollars for that repair this burn up my compresor and they told me they don't covered either so they don't cover anything
I haven't even used my policy. I simply want to transfer my policy to new home owners. I have been calling for 5 days. I keep being told that a form was sent to me and yet I have received no form using three different email addresses. There apparently is no other way to make an account transfer other than to wait and hope that an email shows up. How do these people remain in buesiness?
I spent approximately 1300. 00 for a 3 year top of the line warranty. Submitted about 6-7 claims. NOTHING COVERED. Now they have a new name. Denied water tank, dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator, toilet, etc. Then wanted me to renew.
I had total Home and needed my refrigerator repaired. My freezer stop freezing, they sent 3 different service people out. They couldn't find the problem. Then the last company wanted to replace a part, that Total Home wouldn't ok. They then offered me 300.00 take it or leave it! I contacted management and noone would do anything. So I had to borrow money to buy a new refrigerator. I am a retired widow living off of my retirement. This was a horrible experience. Noone could explain why the policy if we can fix it, we replace it!
They devalue every item for warranty example I had a $1300 dish washer that went out they said they would only pay $125 then they never sent the check. Same thing with my microwave said they would pay $200 for an $800 built in custom microwave they never sent the check. I had to file with attorney general.
I wish I read the reviews before purchasing a policy. I know the policy is cheap but save yourself from being disappointed and upset when you have to make a claim. DO NOT BUY. I was scammed out of a few hundred bucks by Total Home Protection. Please do not fall for the same thing I did. They make suffer by waiting a week only to tell you the appliance is not covered. There are definitely see some fake reviews out there. There is no way this company would replace an appliance. They will promise you the world but give you nothing. I encourage others to report them to the BBB.
I file a claim and it took two different repairmen to come out and tell me what was wrong with my refrigerator. I had done some research and had it figured out when the second Tech told me what I suspected. Total Home rep said they would not repair the fridge, but would give me $250 towards a new one... That was Oct 7,2019 here it is Dec 17,2019 and still no check that they told me I would have in 6-8 weeks. I called again today (5th time) and now I'm told it will be mailed on Dec 27,2019. It's been a chain of lies and deceit. I will cancel them once I get the check... I think that a lot of the reviews on their site are actors posting lies.
