UPDATE:
Just thought of updating on what happened next, well, the battery did arrive. However, I refused to accept my courier. Just like someone on this post has mentioned, luckily I had raised a dispute with PayPal much before the actual delivery of this item (i. E. when the courier came to deliver), mentioning dates, delivery timelines, why I will not accept it even if it is sent at a later date (I simply said that their website is mis-leading and I understood I was ordering from UK when I paid but I wasn't going to accept any cross border delivery). Paypal refunded within their set timelines.

Horrible Experience. Was in a similar situation as most others have mentioned, I needed a battery replacement urgently and this seemed like a genuine UK based company. The only miss from my end was that I usually do a review prior to ordering but I didn't in this case.
Only to realize once the payment was gone that this is a cross-border transaction. Ordered on the 9th Feb and till date not a single email confirmation on whether the order is being processed. There is no way to call or contact them apart from email and hence have now raised a dispute through Paypal.
Feeling foolish and cheated! Like the rating states - Stay Away!
Avoid avoid avoid, not UK (discovered afterwards) gave them a chance then battery stopped working.
They promised to send FOC replacement but then nothing and no replies.
Not able to put zero stars
Two months ago I bought two batteries for my two laptops hp on a website selling batteries was in Portuguese, as a month had not yet received the batteries, examining the receipt of payment Paypal puesd want to complain to this incidence discovered that the payment was made on behalf di Xianghua Luo i in Google saw that this man had a lousy references as a seller.
The question is that as hard Cargano or other buyers say one hour in one of the batteries. Now seeing as I return and claim the amount or send me another. A lousy salesman
I ordered a battery for my laptop, and then read the awful reviews. I actually received very good service, I was kept up to date on the progress of my order by email, and asked to confirm when it arrived, which was very quickly. The battery works and it was a good price.
I had to request a replacement, because the first battery they sent was flat and wouldn't charge. Other than that, no problems so far. Both batteries arrived within a few days, and the second one has worked fine so far.
Battery arrived this morning 21st July 2014
Ordered 11th July.
Correct battery. Fits and is working.
I did e-mail the company over some concerns initially and they responded in 24 hours.
My initial concerns were over a lack of phone contact on the site.
The reply by e-mail was obviously not good English and my concern deepened.
Then I saw some bad reviews. My concerns turned to worry. But there are ways and means of getting your money back.
As it is, the battery arrived. It is in my laptop and charging.
If there are any problems I will come back and post them.
Hello
As others have stated, I too thought it was a Uk site, the battery did not fit so i asked for a refund, after flirting emails back and forth and telling her to contact me on my number i realised she was from china, with her broken English and also she was replying at night time due to the time difference. They asked me to take photo's and all the rigmarole but i then found these reviews and realised she was trying to waste time, after telling her i was going to raise it with paypal she offered a refund but i was also aware they have been giving some customers part refunded so i contacted paypal who told me, not to send it back until i hear from them and they have verified the address, as in one email she stated " I will give refund if we receive it back" that wording in itself was dodgy, anyway paypal are taking care of it so i am guaranteed my money back. My advice to anybody is raise the issue immediately with Pay Pal.
Thank you
Angela
Fake website not based in UK and uses royal mail logos, battery is very poor fit and only worked for 2weeks. I have sent many emails and phoned, no luck. Its now nearly 8 months with no luck, they have my money and are in China, no chance replacement battery or refund, and they know it just fraudsters... Keep away from this company.
Don't ever buy from them, one of their tricks is to advertise batteries at unbelievably cheap prices, whither they have stock or not! You will not get any confirmation of your order but when you finally get a response from your emails. They will offer you a refund. Usually through PayPal. Then it takes them several weeks to do this! In total they have had your money in their account for over a month. Nice business model!
Absolutely awful experience. The website pretends to be a UK shop but batteries ship from China and take 2 weeks to arrive.
Even though it says on the website you can get a refund, the guy just refuses to give one, point blank. So never buy from this site; it is a scam.
My Sony laptop battery arrived fairly quickly but discharged after 50 minutes! They sent a replacement but that was the same. Paypal found in my favour but I could not provide a tracking number because Royal Mail do not carry lithium-iron batteries. Avoid these guys.
Can't give a review with NO STARS!
Awful company to deal with - got battery promptly, worked for a couple of days, then failed to charge. Been given the runaround. By the Chineese del-boys ever since.
Have now come to the conclusion to say goodbye to the money.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE
Don't touch this site with a bargepole. They are based in China, and the goods ship from Hong Kong. When my laptop charger arrived it didn't work, and my emails were ignored. It was only after opening a dispute with paypal that I got any answers which, after sending them photos of it not working, was to send the goods back. It took a while to get the address, which was in Hong Kong. At this point I stopped because I thought that I'd end up sending it back to Hong Kong and would probably hear nothing - sending tracked to HK would be expensive so I put it down to being a lesson learned. The Paypal disputes process isn't great either: you have to say why you are opening a dispute and 'it doesn't work' isn't an option so you have to say that it is damaged so it won't work.
The top battery website doesn't give an address: now there's a clue. I was always told that you shouldn't use a website where you can't tell where the company is based and that's very much the case. I ignored my own common sense and I hope that my tale might prevent someone else from doing the same.
My charger took weeks to arrive, then blew up as soon as I plugged it in. When I emailed the laughingly entitled 'customer service' I was told that there was a problem with my electricity supply.
I've since bought another battery (making sure that this one is coming from the UK) and it works perfectly, of course.
I've no hope of a refund from these people, but I hope I can dissuade anybody else from giving money to them.
DANGEROUS SELLER!
I purchased a battery from them in January 2013 and at first everything seemed great until this morning... My husband turned his laptop on and immediately smelled burning. He picked his laptop up to find flames coming out of the battery! This has completely damaged his computer, which is no longer useable!
Worse still if he had been using the laptop on his knee, I hate to think what would have happened, or if a child had been using the laptop. This could have easily escalated to something more serious. Luckily my husband was there when it happened so was able to act quickly, the next person might not be so fortunate.
Neither trading standards nor PayPal seem to be able to do anything about it as they are not a UK company as they claim, so I have now reported it to Watchdog. Someone needs to alert the public about these corrupt foreign sellers!
A week after this first happened, I have finallly got some of my money back, but only £15, less PayPal costs, making a total of £14.06. When I asked top-battery why so little, their reply was bacause I can't send it back! It was supposed to be guaranteed for 3 years and I have provided photographic evidence of the burnt out battery and reminded them of the seriousness of this incident. Thank goodness no-one was seriosuly hurt of worse. As it is, it has cost us £420 to replace the laptop! I have now resorted to reporting this to the Chinese Embassy as I don't know what else to do. It is so wrong that these foreign companies can trade under the pretence of being UK based and offering full guarantees, etc, when in reality they are not, and no one has the power to stop them. Maybe we need to wait until someone is seriously injured or killed. Perhaps then someone might stop and listen to us!
I bought a replacement upgrade battery for my Acer Laptop from this supposedly UK based company, they sent me the wrong battery that in no way met the description on their website. I have tried contacting them and have had no response and now seems I have wasted my money on a completely useless battery. NOTE they do not have any address or contact details only an e-mail address. MY ADVICE IS TO STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS DODGEY COMPANY!
This site is a rip-off! He ( Luo Xianghua, aka Sunny) sent a battery which did not fit my laptop, I tried to return it for a refund but got no response until I threatened with a PayPal dispute. I was finallly asked to send the battery to an address in the UK which I think was another Customer? The battery cost me £ 39.98 and a further £ 4.20 postage - he refunded me £ 18.00 and now ignores all my emails. He had also managed to drag the refund out past PayPal's 45 days cutoff so they won't refund but they have told me he is being investigated!
Avoid at all costs!
Cannot be trusted. Not based in the UK based in China, despite mis-leading. co.uk site. You get the same cheap battery that you can buy for less on Ebay IF you want to buy a cheap Chinese battery. Battery did not fit my laptop, I was fobbed off past the 45 days, so no PayPal refund, returned battery on promise of return shipping being paid, I now have 4 emails promising the shipping refund, BUT NO REFUND, only promises that mean nothing. Thankfully Visa took up the case and I am not out of pocket for the battery itself... stay well clear
I ordered and didnt read the reviews - now wish I had as the wrong battery for my Acer 5735 was sent and I was not about to return battery untill they sent me a SAE for return. I have written to Tenfang Li in Singapore - no reply written to this site three times still no reply. I have paid through paypal £26 and have no battery for my laptop. I have re-sent the letter yet again threatening that this site should be removed from wherever it appears BEWARE do not buy a battery from here
I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this site. I too assumed this was a UK based compnay but as some of you have pointed out, they come from mainland China. My battery took one month to arrive. And when it did it was found to be incompatible with my Dell laptop. I am now trying to get a refund but Mr (Sunny) Xinghua Luo has suddenly gone very quiet. I intend to complain to Paypal and get them barred from Paypal. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE>
