Not only do you spend 15-20 minutes on a survey, it'll often loop several times with the same questions before moving forward. Then, it says "complete" only to promptly go to "DANG" you didn't earn anything. The last survey I took was so anti-police and pro-protest that I was horrified! That was my breaking point. I come to these survey sites to earn extra change in challenging times. 99.9% are neutral and screen their surveys to avoid a pull one way of the other. I have never in 10+ years of doing these sites had a survey just take a hard turn like that one. I don't care who/what you support keep it simple and not narrow-minded! We see and hear enough of it on tv! I asked once to be deleted, a very nice woman asked me to stay and give it another try. Well... I did and no, nope, nuh uh, forget it I'm out. You have a looooong way to go with this site. I wish you luck and the best.
For about one year now I am a member and I love working on the surveys while I drink my coffee in the peace of my cabin in the mountains. The secret is not to rush and answer truthfully to each question. I've also earned in my Paypal some cash and as a retire person this is a great reward for me while I share my knowledge with the surveys. The owner / Mary is been very positive to work with and in order to be a member here I had to receive an invitation, so I feel honored to be part of this business.

You can spend 10-20 min on each survey to find out that you not qualified. When I finally had enough coins to redeem they not let me do that and you can't erase your profile also. Don't waste your time, this site is trash!

I think you might be referring to unsubscribing from our email list, but that won't automatically cancel your entire account because some panelists just don't like to receive emails from us. They pay on what you earn, but be prepared to do many entire surveys then when it says your done, click to submit, a box comes up after submitting that says you didn't qualify? And you've wasted the entire time it took to do the survey. I did a 40 minute survey. It said Congratulations it was done, then wasn't paid when the click to submit was clicked on. And this happens often.

While it is true that sometimes you screen out of surveys after answering a lot of questions and spending a lot of time, I don't believe this is the website's fault. They simply route you to the survey and sometimes it isn't structured correctly so that they ask the relevant qualification questions right away. I do surveys on 8 different sites and they all sometimes route you to a survey that isn't set up very well. Of all the sites that I do surveys on, this is one of the best. I had a small technical issue with trying to cash out and contacted customer service for help. Mary gave me the instructions I should follow to avoid another glitch. I decided not to cash out until I had reached a higher dollar amount and Mary reached out to me to make sure that I wasn't still having technical issues. I highly doubt that any other site I deal with would have a customer service representative that would notice this and bother to contact me. Mary was beyond kind, respectful, and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a try and sticking with them.
I am a new member of Thrifty Pig. I earned my first level to redeem a gift card and decided to do so to be sure it actually worked. I had problems with it and contacted customer service. Unlike other sites of similar nature where I had to wait weeks, I received a solution within 24 hours. Mary was professional, kind, and prompt with a successful result. I highly recommend this fun way of taking surveys.
After spending 25 minutes on a survey, definitely collecting my personal information, I was informed I was not to be compensated. I wrote to them, responded quickly, but not willing to compensate me. Don't bother wit this site when there are many legitimate survey companies that value their participants.
I signed up to the invitation I received, but after a while I decided to close my account because I was not having time to do the surveys. I contacted the customer service from Thriftypig and they gave a fast response and tried hard to solve my problem (that did not existe) and they are great. They are are a new website and I recommend it!
I was minding my own business when this site invited me by mail to become a member about 2 months ago. I accumulated some points for completing my profile and they supposedly offer a 5-dollar payout upon accumulating 500 points but this is far outweighed by the negatives. Most of the time I've spent taking their surveys, I have either ended up being disqualified or finishing a survey only to be rerouted to another survey.
Many weeks ago, I spent at least 20 minutes taking a survey before screening out. Finally, I just spent a long time taking a survey and completing it but not being credited for it and thus earning any points for my toil.

I followed up in a personal email and wanted to close the loop here as well. I sincerely apologize that you didn’t have a better experience on the site. I completely understand that taking surveys can be an escape and stress relief during these challenging times. Our team also agrees that survey topics should not promote a certain political agenda. I feel that the majority of survey programmers are sensitive in their handling of uncomfortable or controversial topics, but we are all human living through a particularly divisive and unusual time in US history, and it sounds like this survey may have crossed a line. I would just emphasize that survey topics on the Thrifty Pig site do not represent the political or personal beliefs of anyone on the Thrifty Pig team.
If any of our panelists have a negative experience on a survey (regardless of what it might be), we encourage them to bring the issue to us immediately so we can resolve it. We pride ourselves on customer service and providing a good experience for our panelists. If you send me information about the surveys you completed but didn’t receive payment on, I would be happy to make it right for you regardless of whether you continue with the panel.
