Ridiculous company and customer service. I received this as a gift and as appreciative as I am of the person who gave it to me, this is not something I would enjoy or want. I do not like being on a distribution list or a subscription service. I contacted the company through their support and then I was signed up for their emails. Good thing I used a masking email address. They will not refund the original purchaser unless they contact them. I am the recipient of this twice monthly unwanted gift. They will also not refund the gift giver in full unless I go out of my way to pay money and go to the store to ship.
Our first letter and tin were returned to them via USPS and never delivered. I've emailed twice asking to have it resent and I've received no response. I'm about to call my credit card and ask for a charge back since I've proof of never receiving the package. So much for a Christmas gift!
Hi Melanie K.-We are so sorry that your order was returned back to us. If this is the case, it's usually because of an address issue. When we receive the order back, we confirm with our customers that we have the correct address, and then resend. If you have not already been helped, we would be happy to help and resend any missing product. We tried to find your emails through you Sitejabber name, Melanie K., but were unable to locate you in our system and there were multiple customers with your name and last initial. Please let us know at [email protected] if you still need assistance. Our customers' happiness and satisfaction is our goal and we will try to do everything in our power to achieve this.
If you like to be frustrated waiting for letters that never come, this is the product for you. Four letters in 3.5 months. Very disappointed, not at all the experience that was advertised.
Hi Kim,
We are so sorry about your experience. Please reach out to us at [email protected] to see how we can help (and please ask for the email to be forwarded to Angela). We tried to reach out to you, but had limited information as this site only posted your first name and last initial. For a 3.5 month period, a customer should've received about six letters. We are happy to resend any missing letters. We appreciate your patience as we find a solution for you.
Sincerely,
Angela Ahn

You guys are so full of it. It does not take 2 weeks to get a letter in the mail. I've only gotten 4 letters since almost a year ago now. For as much as you guys are ripping people off, you could at least hire people to reply to emails. Then at least you can lie to customers in a timely manner.
It would be nice if my girlfriend could get the rest of the letters that I paid a lot for. But I don't see that happening.
For the people that are thinking about buying this for your loved ones, don't. You can do much better with some colored pencils and paper.
Hi Chase,
We sincerely apologize for your recent experience and truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right. After reviewing both of your subscriptions, our records show that letters have been sent consistently throughout the past year. We’ll be reaching out to you privately via email to confirm your mailing address.
If the address we have on file is correct but the letters have still not been arriving, we’re happy to send a second complete set in one tracked package to ensure safe delivery. Please watch for our email sent to the address used when placing your order.
Regarding your concern about unanswered emails, we are very sorry if it felt like we weren’t responsive. We’ve searched thoroughly using your original email address, as well as your name, recipient’s name, and mailing address, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to locate any previous messages. We’ve now reached out directly by email so that we can work together on a prompt resolution.
Lastly, we wanted to mention that SiteJabber tends to highlight negative reviews unless businesses pay to feature positive ones. For a more balanced and authentic view of our customers’ experiences, you can visit our verified reviews here:

Have received 3 mailings thus far and have been disappointed with each. They are very cheap looking with little substance.

They said they'll deliver 2 letters per month, but we've only gotten 1 in 5 weeks. They are incredibly slow when getting back to you and they take forever to get the stupid letters mailed.
Hi Clay-We sincerely apologize about your experience with the Flower Letters. We know one of our agents has been in communication with you to help out. Our letters are generally sent every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, and delivery is within 2 weeks via regular mail in the US. While we do our part to send out the letters in a timely manner, there are weather conditions, post office issues, and a multitude of other reasons that may prevent a letter from arriving. We are sorry this was your case and are willing to help. If a letter is missing due to these types of reasons, we are happy to resend the missing letter by contacting us at [email protected].
I thought this would be such an excellent gift for my mother for mother's day because of how on theme it is. However, almost three weeks after placing the order mother's day has come and passed an NO letter. To make matters worse when looking at the order on my profile it still says that the letters have not even been sent out yet! Considering their OWN website says they ship the first letter within 1-3 business days this is completely unacceptable! What really made me decide to give up was that even after trying to contact the Flower Letter company to ask what the issue was I never got a response, not even one to say "we got your email and are lookign into it" absolutely nothing. Then when I went to cancel the subscription for a refund since I still have not gotten any letters there was not a way to do so! An again no responses to my inquiries! I'm lodging a complaint with my bank and am posting this review but I don't have much hope that anything will change on their end. Very Very Very Very disappointing!
Hi Traveler L.,
We’re so sorry to hear about your experience and would like to extend our sincerest apologies. If your concern hasn’t already been resolved, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] and ask that your message be directed to Angela.
Because this review site is operated by a third party, we’re not always notified of messages posted here. However, we truly care about your experience and would love the opportunity to make things right. Please reach out via email so we can personally assist you and ensure your complete satisfaction.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

I ordered it for my wife. Was supposed to be a birthday present. Her birthday came and went. I followed the tracking. It came to my city and I waited all day for it then got a notification it was in a facility 2 states away. Very frustrating. Good idea but the execution of delivery is awful.
Hi Lekross-We are so sorry if there was confusion about when your first letter was to arrive. The first letter is sent within 3 business days, and then delivery is 3-5 business days after that. According to our records, it looks like your letter was delivered according to that time schedule. During transit, USPS uses a multi-layered system of sorting and distribution centers to efficiently manage the vast volume of mail and packages it handles daily and it can be confusing to understand how they handle things, but it looks like your package was delivered within the time frame. We also saw that you have ordered again with us and we appreciate that you've decided to continue with The Flower Letters. If you ever need help in the future, you may contact us at [email protected]. Thank you.
The Flower Letters are difficult to read for older people. The size of font is very small. Some of the stationery is a darken color which adds to the difficulty in reading m. I'm sure it is a cost saving measure using small font saving money on less stationery. When the letter arrives I almost dread attempting to have to read another letter. This was a gift or I would ask for refund. I would not recommend purchase unlessan optionforlarge print..
Dear Catherine-My name is Angela Ahn, and I’m the Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. I sincerely apologize that you’re having difficulty reading your letters.
We have made efforts to improve the font size and lighten our paper for better readability. However, if your letters are still challenging to read, we would be happy to switch your subscription to one with a larger font, provided you are two letters or fewer into your subscription. If you are further along, we can make the change for a fee of $5 per letter.
Our Adelaide Magnolia story is a Regency Romance with a larger font and written in cursive, while Norah Aven also features a larger font and is a modern-day fantasy story. Additionally, some of our readers have found that using a lighted magnifying reader helps with readability.
If you’d like to explore these options, please reach out to us at support@theflowerletters. Com and request to be connected with me—I’d be happy to assist you further.
Warm regards,
Angela Ahn

I ordered two sets for my daughters and neither one has received. I went to the website to chat with someone and the screen freezes. I tried to check my order status, nothing. I wish I had read these reviews first. I would encourage anyone who sees their ads on FB to run as fast as you can. They are a scam.
Hi Steve R. -This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and the difficulty you've experienced in contacting us. We have reached out to you via email but will provide some general information here. To clarify, the first letters are mailed 3 days after ordering, and delivery is within 2 weeks in the US. After that, the remaining letters are generally mailed every 2nd and 4th Friday, and delivery is within 2 weeks after the mailing date. In your case, since the order was placed just yesterday, delivery is still within the expected timeframe. If you ever need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Lastly, we wanted to mention that SiteJabber primarily publishes negative reviews unless businesses pay to have positive reviews shown. For a more accurate reflection of our customers' experiences, please visit here: https://theflowerletters.com/pages/customer-stories. Thank you for your support and patience.
I am very disappointed in this service and HIGHLY RECOMMEND if anyone is thinking of gifting this to try it out first for yourself. The font with the letters is extremely difficult to read (I'm not old either) the paper and print is not always legible. The letter should come every 2 weeks and they don't - I have to contact customer service which is very difficult - We as customers seem to be their testers also - they keep adding new letters yet have not ironed out the current process. This is not ready for Prime Time yet.
Hi Connie R., This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager at The Flower Letters. Thank you for your feedback. We have reached out to you via email and left a voice message. From our records, we have sent out your letters in a timely manner. Once mailed, the letters can take up to two weeks to arrive. If a letter doesn't reach its destination, we are always happy to resend.
We’ve served tens of thousands of happy customers and mailed over 2 million letters across the globe. While not always perfect, we do our best to make things right for customers and are always looking for ways to improve our processes. In your case, as I mentioned, we have reached out personally so that we may help you find a solution. Also, please note that Sitejabber does not reflect our reviews accurately - they withhold positive reviews hostage until we pay them. Please visit our website for more up to date and accurate reviews.
I bought this as a gift for my daughter over 3 weeks ago and started sending emails inquiring status after 2 weeks. Over 3 weeks later and still no delivery or update. There's no number to call and I finally got a response via email saying it could take up to 2 weeks to deliver. I guess they didn't bother looking at my screenshots showing 2 weeks had already passed. My email also stated this as well. My daughter was really looking forward to it and it's unfortunate we can't seem to get help. Now the struggle to get support for cancellation and refund begins.
Hi Sharon B.-This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager at The Flower Letters. We are so sorry that you felt like your concerns were not being addressed. That is not our intention, and we want to make things right. We would be happy to expedite the letters or help find another solution. We have tried to look up your account but have limited information for you on this site. If you would please contact me at [email protected] and ask to be forwarded to the manager, we can find a resolution for you quickly. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Never received my letters, for 2 months! And to get in contact with anyone is ridiculous hard. They said I'd get a refund but never did! Beware!
Hi Alyssa,
This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager at The Flower Letters. I want to sincerely apologize for your experience and assure you that we are committed to making things right.
From our records, it appears that our team has been in communication with you regarding this matter. One of our agents resent the missing letter, and we also processed both the cancellation of your order and a refund. We recommend checking with the payment service you used for your purchase, as refunds are issued immediately on our end but can take up to 10 days or a full billing cycle to reflect, depending on your provider.
We have also reached out to you via email with further details. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to assist you. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Soooo disappointed! This was supposed to be a birthday present for my 80+ year old mother. Ordered in December for her January birthday. She has received nothing! I've reached out to customer service and, of course, have gotten no response.
I have no idea about the quality since we haven't received any letters, but based on the service alone, don't waste your money. Now I need to figure out how to get my money back 😡
Hi Stacy-This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We are so sorry your mother did not receive her letters! We have reached out to you via email to let you know we had been sending the letters on schedule and that we would be happy to find another solution for her (expedite her new letters, etc.) It looks like we have come to a resolution via email. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
I have reached out 2 times by email, 2 additional times through the website and still no response on when my items will be sent. Ordered 1/7/2024. My 80 year old aunt is the one suffering here. She has very little to look forward to and was so excited about this gift.
Hi Elaine R.-This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We are truly sorry about the delay in response. We are currently experiencing a high volume of emails and truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. While we typically respond within 1–3 business days, our current response time has been extended. One of the biggest reasons for this is that sending additional emails within the same thread may unintentionally delay our response, as our system moves the inquiry to the back of the queue. In your case, we think this is what may have happened, and we are so sorry. Similarly, multiple emails, chat messages, or social media posts can congest our system and further slow down response times.
We have reached out to you through your email and have provided a solution for your dear aunt to receive her letters! Please know it is our desire to help serve our customers. We look forward to communicating with you there.
Worst customer service I have experienced. One month from the order and my mom STILL has not rcvd her first letter! She does have an empty tin and yesterday received the second letter which should be an embarrassment for this company. After arguing with them for weeks, they finally sent another first letter and of course refused to express mail it so she may be waiting another 2+ weeks (IF this one actually shows up!) Why can't this organization stand behind their product? Also if you are going to blast advertise - perhaps you should also be sure you can service the demand Pathetic! I would have cancelled and disputed the expensive charge, but my mom was excited to receive it.
Hi Diane P.,
This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager at The Flower Letters. I want to extend our sincerest apologies for the experience you’ve had with us and assure you that we are committed to resolving any issues.
At The Flower Letters, our goal is to ensure every customer’s satisfaction. If your situation has not yet been resolved, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at [email protected] and include my name in your email for prompt attention.
For reference, our standard procedure is to send the first letter within three business days after receiving an order. Typically, the letter arrives within a few days, but it can take up to two weeks depending on postal delays. In cases where a letter does not arrive, we are always happy to resend a complimentary copy.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make things right.
My first letter order was a complete bust. I never even received the first letter. I was left on my mom's birthday with no present. I even ordered this service 3 weeks before her birthday. I tired to reach out multiple times to The Flower Letters and was completely ghosted. DO NOT use this service, you will be as unsatisfied as me.
Hi Marcia T.-This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We are so sorry about your experience! We aim to provide our customers with excellent care and sincerely apologize that this has not been the case. If you would reach out to me personally at [email protected] and write that the email is to be directed to the manger’s attention, I would be more than happy to help. Also, please know that your emails have not been ignored and we are so sorry you felt ghosted! As an explanation, when multiple emails are sent from the same customer, our system sends the ticket to the back of the line. We try to communicate this on our contact page and in our auto responders and are sorry if this message wasn’t received. Once again, we are willing and wanting to help, so please reach out to me personally.
I've got to admit I am highly disappointed in The Flower Letters and their lack of service. I purchase this subscription for my Mom and at first we were pleased but half way through the subscription something happened and my subscription was stopped, I contacted customer service and after a lot of emails I was assured the subscription would start again from where it had ended (letter 14), Mom did receive letter 14 as promised several weeks later - I gave them a pass putting it down to updating systems etc but then nothing... I emailed again, then randomly Mom received letter 22. So yet again I had to contact them Via email - It was finally resolved by me having to have ALL the remaining subscription posted to me so I could post them two weekly to my mom at an additional cost to myself. Really not worth the £122
Hi Mandie W.- This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We are so sorry that your Flower Letters’ experience didn’t turn out as expected! It looks like the letters were traveling internationally and some of your letters didn’t arrive. We are truly sorry about that. Letters traveling internationally face a few more obstacles as they are traveling a further distance and through different mail carriers.
We thought the best solution to this would be to send all the remaining letters to you in one package, to ensure you would receive all the letters with tracking. We know this isn’t the ideal way to receive the letters, but since some of them were not arriving successfully via regular mail, we were hoping this would be a solution instead of continuing to have to wait for each letter. Our intention was to help, and we are so sorry if you didn’t feel that way. If you reach out to me at [email protected] to my attention, we would be happy to try to make things right for you.
I loved the idea of getting letters between characters during the WWII era as it was the time period my own parents met and married. I intended on purchasing other letters when the Audrey Rose series wrapped up. I have gotten 23 of the 24 letters! I am left frustrated with never getting the final letter or finding out how their story ends! Finding a way to contact these folks has proved to be challenging at best. I am going to resubmit my request for my final letter after hearing nothing from them for weeks now. Good concept but horrible customer service. It's a shame, but I won't order more.
Hi Teresa T.- This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. We are so sorry that you were missing your last letter! Please know that our policy is to happily resend any missing letter. We certainly want our customers to enjoy their full story to completion. It also sounds like you had a difficult time reaching us and we are so sorry about that. We have tried to make our contact information available through our website, regular email notifications, Facebook, and our Facebook Community Group. We can be reached most directly through [email protected]. Please know that responses are usually within a day but can be delayed if we are experiencing a high volume of emails. When we do reach your ticket, we will do everything in our power to assist. We sincerely appreciate your patience.
I ordered this subscription back on Nov 27,2023.
Nothing received as of January 15,2024.
NOTHING!
I requested an UPDATE. NO RESPONNSE
I requested a REFUND. NO RESPONSE.
They have a beautiful marketing program to lure you in but they REFUSE to send the letters.
These people are SCAMMERS CHEATERS AND LIARS!
PLEASE— Do NOT waste your money.
You will be deeply disappointed by the Customer Service.
I'm contacting my credit card company.
This is absolute FRAUD.
WOW!
Hi Val H.- This is Angela Ahn, Customer Service Manager with The Flower Letters. It sounds like you did not have a positive experience, and we sincerely apologize about that. Please know it our policy to help our customers as best as possible, whether that is ensuring they receive their letters or receive a refund.
You may have reached us during the busy aftermath of the holiday season when our response time is slower, or your ticket may have been pushed back as our system moves tickets from the same email to the back of the line if there are multiple outreaches. If this happened to you, we are so sorry.
We send out thousands of letters each month with success, but occasionally we have a few letters that may not reach their destination due to a multitude of reasons. If this happens, we try everything in our power to work with our customers to find a solution. If your situation has not already been resolved, please reach out to me at [email protected] and direct the email to my attention. We will do everything we can to assist.
Hi no a.-We are so sorry you are not enjoying your gift. We want you to be happy, and would like to help you find a solution. The gift was given to you by someone who thought you would like it. Since this was purchased as a gift by your gift giver, it's up to them if they would like to cancel the gift. In regards to being an email list, this can only happen if you opt-in to receive emails from us. Even if an opt-in occurs by accident, we will happily unsubscribe you if that is your wish. We also have a 30-day money back satisfaction guarantee (full refund), and even a pro-rated refund for letters or product already sent. What we would recommend is expressing your appreciation to your gift giver but to let them know this is just not something that you would enjoy. If they contact us at [email protected], we would be happy to cancel and refund the order. If this is not a reasonable solution for you, please reach out at the [email protected] and ask to be directed to Angela, and I will personally assist.
