Every thing in these posts is so true, this company is total RIP OFF/SCAM/DEAD BEAT PAYER!. Over a year I have to tried to cash out three different times for different amounts. Each time I get a BS story that my phone # is blocked & can't be verified, my account is not active or has been deactivated, blah, blah! Anything to keep you from your money. It usually took me 3 weeks to get a payment sent to my Paypal account. NO other survey sight I deal with tortures you like this, especially if you are using Paypal.
IM TRYING TO REPORT THEM TO THE BBB. PLEASE JOIN ME IF YOU HAVE BEEN ON THEIR SITE AND NOT GOTTEN PAID... THEY ARE A SCAM. They are listed as

After accumulating points I was suddenly blocked from all surveys. I wrote then numerous times and was told that there were no surveys available. So I logged on with a bogus ID and there were at least 12 surveys available. Like I said, it's a giant scam and no one will help you with your problems.
I was really enjoying utilizing Survey Junkie, as they have an easy to use interface, and adding up points via the Survey Medleys is not hard to do at all, BUT I just received a message that I had to verify my activity in order to redeem my points! Utter BS if you ask me. I can tell they only want you to make a couple dollars a day, and then they start limiting survey access and make it difficult to redeem points.
You sign up and you get a few points for doing the preliminary stuff but you never get any surveys.
If they don't have enough surveys to offer, they should reject you just from your basic demographic info... they don't need a name and personal information if the chances are high that your age/race/income/spending habits don't fit their surveys.
So you're out your personal identity with no way to earn. Hopefully this site is not making its profit by selling our personal info
Meh experience. Didn't qualify for the first 3 surveys I took. I was paid on the 4th one. But the first 2 surveys took 20 minutes and thanked me for completing.
When asked to verify my self before redeeming points always says cant be verified. I contact customer service. They said was going to send check for amount of point redemption to be used as verification never received check.
This site will seem good at first, but it will beat you down as soon as you get to the 1000 point mark, with it's rediculous verification process, that seems incapable of verifying basic information.
After several weeks I finally had over $10 to redeem, only to be told that address given was invalid. Local USPS office stated that address was, in fact, valid and all mail was deliverable. In addition, I have been receiving mail for over a year at same address including letters from social security, medicare and Medicaid as well as items ordered online. Response from company has been repeatedly the same. I realized too late that surveyjunkie.com has no other avenues to find help. Lesson learned: always look for a tel. Number and virtual help desk before doing business with anyone online. Caveat emptor and due diligence always. At least it was an inexpensive education in the perils of doing business with a less than reputable firm. Good day and good luck.
As stated so many times by several good people, Survey Junkie starts well then goes into a rapid decline. I would really like to know if Miss Billy A. Still sings praises for them. I doubt it, and I'll wager that they dumped on her too. Some foreign Infidel is the ceo, so that may help to explain the cold hearted business policies. I would like to hear how they intend to justify this behavior on Judgement Day. John
I have been trying to get a response, ANY response, from SJ for a week now. I have had ZERO surveys since April 30, and can't redeem any points.
I have gone back and forth many times, trying to redeem my points. Nothing is being done. I have asked them to call me. No call. Keep getting told they've reset so I could now do it. Doesn't work. Emails are short and ridiculous in giving any help. Tired of the runaround. Have asked to just send me a check and wipe out the points. No answer. I've seen ads saying that most surveys are between 100 and 200 hundred points. Don't believe it! Guess BBB is next.
I can't work a regular job cause I have seizures so this was awesome when I found it. I actually took my husband out and I'm making money for our vacation with the kids and grandbabies. I feel like I'm able to help in my own way. Thank you
As many other reviewers have stated, Survey Junkie seems great when you start out, then gradually the problems start. First there's the occasional 30 minute survey you will complete, only to be returned to Survey Junkie with a message: "Sorry. You did qualify for that survey."
Really? I saved the last page's URL and took a screenshot saying its complete and contacted Survey Junkie. After three times of this happening and getting a response basically saying "Tough $%^. Them's the breaks. You lose," I stopped writing them. Since then I have had my account disabled once allegedly due to 'rushing answers' (I actually use a timer during surveys, so i know this is not true). Now more have 50% of surveys I take are disqualified after completion, or after i spend 25-30 minutes on one.
This is very frustrating, especially as other companies such as Mint Vine have credited me for any survey i have had a problem with. Also, what exactly happens to the long surveys I complete and don't get credited for? I suspect they are still used. With Survey Junkie you take your chances. Be prepared to take a lot of surveys and only get credited for a fraction.
I was paid a few times. The last time I went to cash out they said my account was locked to protect myself. When I inquired they said my account was locked for violating the rules. It's not true. I asked them which rules I violated and got nothing from them. There is no phone number listed but the BBB website states survey junkie it is another name for blue media ventures. I have only been with SurveyJunkie for 2 weeks and they freaking rock! I already got over $35 bucks in payouts to PayPal. With just a few hours of minimal effort. AND it was fun. Also, if you use PayPal, the payout was EXTREMELY fast. Faster than any other survey place I have used. They say it may take up to 24 hours for money to hit PayPal... but the last two payouts, I received them within the hour. Great customer service too. They promptly handle every issue.
This survey site does pay, I have cashed out several times before. The average pay per survey attempted was 15 cents. You need a phone number to "verify identity". HOWEVER, the last time I cashed out, I had to fight through emails for 4 days to cash out $13 dollars. A phone number does NOT verify who somebody is!
This site does not tell you that they require your cell phone number before completing the surveys. After accumulating points, I decided to redeem my points. They said a cell phone number is needed to send the verification. This inspite that we communicate through email.
Answer: I'm having the same issue rip I don't think we're getting it back
Answer: Don't bother. They won't pay you. Survey Junkie is a scam.
