I signed up, took surveys enough surveys until I reached enough points to be able to redeem $10. I was then promoted to add my address an additional info. All of a sudden it says I violated something and can't redeem. Then it goes on to say contact customer support. Then it's 5-7 business days before you hear back. Based on others reviews I'm not holding my breath to heard back. Don't waste your time.
WOW! JUST WOW! I have been a member for a LONG time and just last night I could have redeemed my points. Now, as of this morning I am receiving a message I need to verify my info before I can redeem. I receive an email stating I violated something which is complete BS. I guess my complaining on here and other sites and emailing customer support because of not receiving points for completing surveys has caused them to block me. Completely unacceptable and I will continue to blast them and will not contact the BBB if this isn't resolved.
UPDATE! I was "allowed" to cash out for a final time but no one can respond as to what "term" I supposedly violated. BEWARE! I went back and re-read the terms and cannot find anything I would have violated... other than a term that states something like you HAVE to update your profile at least every 6 months or they can terminate you... make sure you do that. Since I have been a long standing member I think I deserve the common courtesy in someone explaining what I supposedly violated that was so bad I was terminated!
Survey Junkie has shown a clear pattern of advertising surveys for pay and then 'locking' payment, citing some false security issue, then ignoring all communication attempts. It's been almost a month and 10 customer service requests since they did my account like all these others listed here. This is outright theft.
At first, it was great. I loved this site and told everyone about it. But, I was just about to cash in $31.83, but I had to contact support. Emailed twice and got nothing. I waited two weeks. I emailed the third time and got an automated response saying I've violated rules and so I can't cash out or do surveys anymore. I made a total of $111.98 but didn't get that $31.83, so I made much less than that. Still a good amount for me since I'm 17 and still looking for a job. I've been with the site since July of 2018, but now I can't do anything because I "violated rules". I was honest about literally everything in the surveys and was consistent and I took my time with the surveys. So, what did I do wrong? Most certainly nothing, but I'm guessing they're just really picky about who they want to get money. What a joke.
You will see it all over Pinterest. Earn hundreds of dollars a month by simply completing surveys. I've been on this site for 9 months now and I have earned $30. Most of the surveys will get personal information and then ask a few questions regarding their topic and then tell you that you don't qualify "here's three points". That equals $0.03. When you finally do qualify for a survey, you will spend 20 to 25 minutes completing it, and half of the time, right at the end, the survey will freeze. You write to customer service and they will ask you for the survey ID number. The survey ID number is only available to you before you start the survey. So unless you record that number every time you start a survey, you're not getting any reward for all of the information you've given to that particular company. 2 out of the 10 times, you will complete the survey only to be kicked off at the very end, where they tell you that you've already completed the survey or that your answers were not consistent. Most surveys average around 20 minutes in length with a reward of 50 points which is equivalent to 50 cents. You will be bombarded with emails stating that there is a new survey available to you. You will receive the notification and if you sign in immediately upon receiving the notification, it will tell you that "sorry, this survey has already reached its maximum number of participants." The surveys themselves have been slapped together by who knows who, but whoever it is clearly does not put any insight into what they are asking. They will ask you for your age. Then they will ask you for what year you were born. Attached is a screenshot that's one of my favorite questions. So, even if you were rewarded for every survey you took, you're only getting paid a dollar fifty per hour. There are probably other things you could be doing for way more money than that. Save your time. Save your frustration.
I've done lots of reviews. I built up to $21 and decided to redeem. I was told I needed to contact customer support. Upon doing so it says to fill out on online form and I will receive a call back in 5-7 days. The call never comes. I fill out the form again... still no call. It says due to high call volume it will take 5-7 business days. Still no call. Try again and now says I'm blocked-I can't even sign into my account.
I've put a lot of time in the surveys, I was making about $30 a week. I had cashed out twice and everything was ok but this time it said that in order to redeem my points I had to contact customer support to verify my account. I did as asked and I was suppose to be receiving a call. It's been over 2 weeks and nothing. I've sent several emails and no response. Its $50 worth I have, that was a lot of time I invested for them to not properly conduct the website. Also there's not number to call, their Facebook page only responds with one automated message and they never respond to emails.
I've been doing these surveys for the last 8 months with no problems until today. For some reason I can't redeem my points and the only way to address the issue is to send an email. They said my account violated one of their rules, yet I have no idea how. I answered the questions honestly, all I want is to cash in. This company just wastes peoples time!
Scammers make we awenser and work for free and don't give us the money. The Fbi ignore us when we try to call. We should open a public lawsuit on those mother$#*!ers.
I'm $#*!ing livid I spent a good week earning 2000 points for a 20 dollar reward, I was so excited to redeem it they asked for my address. Gave it phone verifation done and NOTHING it continues to stay contact support to confirm recent acitivity it's been WEEKS nothing. $#*! this site and everyone who uses it. I made you $#*! $#*! mfs so much money you $#*!ing lying $#*! scammers STAY AWAY IM WARNING YALL
I earned $10, and still can't redeem my points 2 weeks later. I've emailed them several times, and have been told someone will get back to me but no one has. I keep receiving a message that there are no more surveys available, and when I've contacted customer support about this NUMEROUS times, no one responds. Do not waste your time.
It's already bad enough to answer 10-20 questions BEFORE the survey only to be told you don't qualify. Ok, I signed on for that. But the real slap in the face is when you endure all that and when its time to cash out, you can't get your money. I have received three bs emails about needing to be verified by phone and a good time for them to call. The call has yet to come. That was two weeks ago. If they weren't full of crap, the supposedly verification process would have been completed at the beginning. So sad these people are so unscrupulous. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I have been doing the surveys for other websites, and I never had a hard time to redeem my points. Other surveys sites, never asked for my address. But Survey Junkie, they will ask to call you to verify your identity in order to redeem your points. This really concerns me.
This site is a total piece of trash these $#*!s probably make so much money and won't pay you a $#*!ing dying telling you you have to verify your account by contacting customer support which will never call you whatsoever total bull$#*! don't waste your time.
This site is trash, garbage, an evergrowing waste of everything. I started doing this crap bc I was short on cash and seemed to be a short answer. NOPE.
I got all the way to $20 which I was going to then transfer to my paypal- when I went to the redeem points area, it was grayed and not clickable. I get the same message everytime- that I have to contact them to verify my acct, which was already done a million times. Still nothing!
Thanks for wasting my time and stress over a week or so for NOTHING!
I've tried several survey sites in the past, and at first I thought this one was legit. But when I reached the $10 mark, I clicked on redeem, and it asked me to verify myself by putting in my address. I did so, but then it claimed that I already had another account with that address, which I didn't, so then I tried my in-laws address (I've never used their address for anything) and it said the same thing. The next day I tried again with my address, same thing. I tried contacting customer service, but they only operate Monday through Friday and all of this started Friday night, after their business hours. Now today, I've tried to log in, and they IP blocked me right as I logged in! Now when I try to go to the site, it goes straight to being blocked, even after I cleaned out my cookies and cache! This is ridiculous! I earned that $10 fairly, using honest info and everything!
Have 11.69._11.08(at time of photo) to cash out CAN NOT get a response I have a verified pp and email and have cashed out numerous times I think this is a SCAM
So, for any who read over my review, I have an update.
Short story of beginning. I had ran into the same problem most seem to face. I had points, told me to contact support, support wasn't contacting me back. Not even giving me a phone call as promised.
I sent in an email on the 5th day to Survey Junkie, and told them "Hey, this is NOT how to conduct business especially those who spend their time and rightly earned that money". Within 1 day I received a call from Survey Junkie, took 5 minutes. I asked if I will ever have to worry about this again, because it was kinda silly to wait 5 days to nearly a week in a half to get a response, and I would hate to have to do the account verification again.
No. I was promised that I would never have to be contacted again. Sure enough, right then I was able to redeem my points.
The time to do the survey's can be time consuming, sometimes getting through a 30m survey to be told you don't qualify and get 3 points does blow, HOWEVER, it does add up, AND sometimes getting those 100-300 pointers add up quickly. In a week I got 1900 pts, and one week it took me 5 days to get 100, it just works out that way sometimes. I give them a 3, because essentially they need to work on contacting people in a timely manner, but if you give them enough hassle they WILL contact you.
This isn't a scam, I just recommend if you want to get some action, take the bull by the dangles and just don't give up contacting them. All in all, Survey is NOT a scam, but needs to work on those call ques from Customer Support :).
SurveyJunkie is just a ploy to get your information. You can not bypass the phone number part. Once you join watch how the scammers will harass you by phone. You will get 100 calls a day from Microsoft going out of business and now they want to return you some money, to the social security office, or to tell you, you owe money and they are sending the police after you.And they take all the information you give them, then tell you that you violated the rules, even though you know darn well you did not. I am going to make a complaint to the BBB for the hell of it. WORD to the wise don't give your real information.
I've been using Survey Junkie for a while now and always thought it was a decent survey site. Even though it takes a while to build up enough points to redeem, money is redeem instantly in paypal and I never had any issues with it. However, recently I've been hardly getting any surveys, and when I do, I'm either screened out immediately and receive no points (not even the 2-3 points you usually get after being screened out) or more often I get a message saying "WE'RE SORRY" with no further explanation. This used to happen very rarely but now almost every surveys gets the 'We're sorry' message and no points. It's become ridiculous and a waste of time. Don't bother.
Answer: I'm having the same issue rip I don't think we're getting it back
Answer: Don't bother. They won't pay you. Survey Junkie is a scam.
