It took 30 days to get the body shop paid. State Farm tried to total loss my vehicle in violation of Florida Insurance Law. Then they only extended the rental car coverage a few days. Enterprise Rent-A-Car called the Body Shop multiple times harassing them and me, telling him the vehicle was totaled. Why would a rental car company be calling the Body Shop to tell them the car was totaled? Why would State Farm try to illegally total my car? Because it's cheaper and easier for them, so much for going green. They wanted to send my good car to the junkyard. Why has the Body Shop and myself been treated so rudely and unprofessionally?
So the body shop did not start doing any work on the car until authorization, the slow pay on the part of State Farm caused the delay and me to incur additional expenses for the rental car, which by the way was towed away from my residence leaving a senior stranded with no transportation missing a critical doctors appointment and a business meeting. I'm honestly considering a lawsuit for senior abuse and financial loss due to being left stranded without transportation.
Their representative, DeMarkus Perkins, Area Manager, spoke to me on various occasions unprofessionally as well as rudely, I definitely didn't feel as though I was in good hands with State Farm. The only redeeming experience from this entire fiasco brought on by State Farm Insurance company is my insurance agent who is awesome, was very helpful in guiding me as to how to navigate through this cluster mess. I have already answered the survey to Enterprise and it wasn't good. I doubt I will get a survey from State Farm. I was asked by Enterprise if they could call and discuss this with me and I've been waiting for the call and have not received it. Not really surprised since I've spent the majority of my time since May 11 on hold more than talking with anyone at State Farm or Enterprise being bounced around on hold each time for close to 30 minutes. I've gotten the runaround, big time and State Farm took 30 days, until the last day to pay the claim and the only reason they did was because they knew if they didn't pay within 30 days I could sue State Farm. Shame on State Farm shame on your company and shame on State Farm for trying to take advantage of a senior and total my vehicle illegally which would have put me under severe financial stress

Snake Farm 'lied' in an official inquiry by the Washington State A.G.'s Office, and the State of Washington Insurance Commissioner. They stated that Agent Avren Childers had actually been handling my auto insurance when they never had, and had 'declined' to transfer it from another disreputable agent, Sal Aguilar STATE FARM agent in Beaverton, OR where it was because I opted to keep it with them after I moved to Washington.
What is amazing is that they had the audacity to LIE in an official document to the State Attorney Genital as I refer to Bob Fungusnutz as, a totally dishonest and disreputable piece of work who's not qualified to be DOG CATCHER, let alone aspire to be the GOVERNOR after he gives up his cozy little gig as the A.G. Soon.

Avoiding Customer Service at all costs. My son was in my truck when hit by someone insured through State Farm. After several days of no contact, my insurance company asked me to contact State Farm directly because they would not return Progressives calls. When I finally reached someone after several attempts and hours on hold, I was informed that State Farm was waiting for a statement from my son and the police report before determining liability. Both statements were lies. There was no police report because this occurred on private property and State Farm made no attempt to contact my son or myself. After taking my sons statement (and another 40+ minutes on hold because they would not give a direct #) They assured my that it was their goal to determine the case as quickly as possible and they would contact me when that was ready.
Several more days later, I fought through the hold line again to find that while they had all required information, they had not made a determination yet for unspecified reasons. The representative put me on hold again and finally accepted the liability because their insured driver had stated they had turned into my son who was already traveling in the lane! I used the repair shop they suggested for the estimate, and said I could make it another day or two without a vehicle because they assured me the process would be resolved quickly now that liability had been accepted.
After receiving the estimate and hearing that the shop would be unable to make the repairs for over a month, I contacted State Farm again, who said they could pay the shop directly and set up a rental, for a month, if that was what I wanted to do. I said I needed to talk to the shop and see if there was a way to expedite the repair and gave State Farm the information to send a check to me. After talking to the shop, I decided to just have the estimate payed out and try and find a faster repair or a replacement vehicle. I called State Farm again and was told this was no problem and would be handled within 3 business days, as State Farm needed to verify no parts had been ordered by the shop before processing the payment. I canceled the rental as they now said they could not provide a rental if there was not a repair being made (though I have been without a car for almost 2 weeks).
After 3 business days with no payment, no phone call, and nothing happening, I called back again and was told that I had never set up the payment, that the check was sent to the repair shop anyway, and that if I wanted to change anything I would have to wait 3 business days to allow State Farm to contact the shop and make sure no parts were ordered. I asked to speak to someone higher up, and was told they would initiate a request and that would take 48 hours.
I am on day 17 without a car. State Farm, who has accepted liability, has NEVER contacted me. I am constantly misled, lied to and made to wait longer...as though I might just forget about the broken truck in my driveway as I walk by it on my way to walk wherever I need to go. IF you want to encourage slow, disrespectful, service that lacks basic integrity, you might consider using State Farm. If you ever need to be made whole by them and are not their customer, you should consider a lawyer from the start and save time. Worst insurance experience ever!

MY ADJUSTER DEBBIE MINNICH IS SO SNEAKY AND SHE IS NOT HONEST OR TRUTHFUL DEBBIE BRAGS ABOUT HOW LONG SHE'S BEEN WITH THE COMPANY BUT SHE IS NOT HELPING ME AT ALL AND SHE'S A FRAUD! DEBBIE REFUSES TO ANSWER SOME OF MY BASIC QUESTIONS AS SHE SAY SHE'S HERE FOR YOU AND ON YOUR SIDE ADVOCATING FOR ME WHICH IS SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH! INSTEAD OF HELPING ME GET MY HOME BACK DEBBIE IS HANGING UP ON ME AND NOT GIVING ME HER SUPERVISORS INFORMATION. DEBBIE WILL NOT PROPERLY COMMUNICATE WITH ME. THE ONLY CONTACT PERSON IS DEBBIE SO WHEN SHE'S OUT OF THE OFFICE WEEKS AT A TIME YOU HAVE TO ONLY DEAL WITH HER SO YOU MUST WASIT UNTIL SHE DECIDE TO REPLY EVEN WITH TIME SENSITIVE ISSUES. IF I REACH OUT TO THE AGENT JOHN STEIN ALL HE'LL DO IS SAY HE'LL FORWARD YOUR CONCERNS TO DEBBIE AND THAT'S IT. DEBBIE COULD BE OUT SICK, ON VACATION, OR JUST HANDLING BIGGER CASES LIKE SUICIDE AS SHE TOLD ME BEFORE WHEN I ASKED HER ABOUT OUR POOR COMMUNICATION. MY HOUSE HAS BEEN DAMAGED SINCE 10/31/19 AND TODAY IS 6/16/20 AND DEBBIE IS DOING NOTHING TO HELP GET TO THE BOTTOM OF MY CLAIM. ON TOP OF THAT I RESEARCHED OUT TIO THE CEO OF STATE FARM LAST WEEK ABOUT MY CLAIM AND THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE AND STILL NO REPLY. MY CONTRACTOR FINALLY SPOKE WITH DEBBIE MINNICH'S BOSS AFTER SHE WITHHELD HIS INFO BUT THE BOSS DAN HAGAN GOT IRATE AND HUNG UP ON MY CONTRACTOR AFTER HE ADVISED DAN THAT THE CALL WAS BEING RECORDED. AT THIS POINT EVERYONE AT STATE FARM IS AWARE THAT MY HOME IS STILL NOT GOING TO BE FIXED BECAUSE STATE FARM DO NOT WANT TO PAY THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT FOR REPAIRS TO MY HOUSE. STATE FARM IS AWARE BUT NO ONE FROM STATE FARM IS HELPING ME GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. I HAVE A HOUSE WITH A HUGE HOLE IN THE ROOF WITH A TARP ON IT AND STATE FARM IS AWARE IF IT. 8 MONTHS LATER AND STILL NO RESOLUTION. DEBBIE TOLD ME STATE FARM IS NOT PAYING ANY MORE MONEY FOR REPAIRS WHILE LOWBALLING THE COST OF MY HOUSE REPAIRS. FROM THE CEO DOWN NO ONE WILL HELP ME. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! THEY ARE NOT RIGHT AND NOT FAIR!
If I could put negative a thousand I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEING WITH STATE FARM. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE STRESS AND NEGATIVITY. WHAT I AM ABOUT TO TELL YOU IS ONLY PART OF ALL THE NAD THINGS THEY'VE DONE TO US
My grandpa has been with State Farm insurance since the 1960's. We have had great service up until the last 6 years. Everyone has always told me they were $#*! and told me all bad things about them but I always stood up for them. Well I'm here to say that was a slap in the face. We have filed a total of 8 claims this whole 60 years he's been with them. 3 for car wrecks, 1 being our fault, 1 being both parties fault, and the other one being the other parties fault but they did not have insurance so State Farm had to cover it. Another claim was when my car got stolen. There's was $1500 of damage done to it when it was stolen. THEY SPENT $15,000 FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS BRINGING IN STATE FARM LAWYERS AND INVESTIGATORS TO TRY TO PROVE MY DAUGHTERS DAD AND I WERE LYING ABOUT IT GETTING STOLEN. MIND YOU IT WOULD
HAVE BEEN ONLY $1500 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY TREATED US LIKE CRIMINALS AND RACIALLY PROFILED MY DAUGHTERS DAD, EVEN TRIED TO GET US PUT IN JAIL FOR FRAUD. BUT GUESS WHAT THEY COULDN'T BECAUSE WE DID NOT LIE, IT WAS NOT FRAUD, MY CAR REALLY GOT STOLLEN. They are ignorant and even belittled me so much it made me cry. WHICH INFURIATED my grandpa and he confronted our representative about it and he said "there's nothing I can do that's what they do to people" They have lied to us multiple times. They cancelled my road side assistance because I had 2 incidences "too close together"
We pay by the 6 months. I pay for my cars I own and my grandpa pays for the other cars because we are on a family plan. Well last time it was due it was $800 each for my cars. It's usually $600 each. I thought it was a one time thing and I paid it. But then I got another bill for $800 for the 6 months for each car. So I asked my insurance representative why it went up $200. He said he didn't know and he couldn't figure out why. There was also nothing he could do about it. They also called us and told us we were late on an insurance payment (again we pay by the 6 months) but they called 5 months into this last payment (that was most definitely paid I have plenty of proof) and said we were late on that payment. Why would you just now be contacting us if we were 5 months late on a payment and we still have coverage. So she went back through her system and called us said that she was "wrong" that it popped up it is due next month and she thought that meant we missed a payment. Is she dumb or what? Then proceeded to tell us we were 2 car payments past due. Which isn't true. And how would she know if it had been true. We never have been late on a payment. We are actually 2 months ahead on every car payment we have. So I called the bank that gave us the loan for this car and they said they have not communicated with State Farm at all. That that would be illegal to do without our consent. That when someone calls about an account, they have to verify they are that person, and then everything that is discussed and done is written in the notes of that phone call and put with that account so they can go back and look for future reference and such. I know someone that recently stopped working for them and she said I quote "I will not work for a company that is dishonest, deceives, doesn't care about their clients, tries to screw them over, does NOT act in way insurance companies should or any company should, and treats people like criminals. We are here to help not to screw people over. But State Farm does just that. Their clients pay extremely high prices but cant use their insurance half the time because State Farm is trash and wants to fight every claim that's filed. I have morals and values and working for them makes me look bad. I can't believe the things they are doing to people and the way they are treating people. I WILL not work for a company that is more than greedy, takes advantage of people and manipulates people. I'm thinking about calling the Better Business Bureau and I encourage you all to as well!"
I know for a fact (from another person I know that currently works there and is getting ready to quit because of that horrible things State Farm does) that they will do absolutely anything and add fake charges to people's bills just to get extra money.
So with that being said STATE FARM THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO SAY TO YOU FOR SCREWING ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS OVER (especially ones like my family that have been with you for 60 plus years) AND NOT DOING RIGHT BY US. SCREW YOU. I HOPE THE WHOLE COMPANY GOES OUT OF BUSINESS AND IT REALLY SHOWS WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE YALL ARE.
