Slowest shipping ever... tracking link NEVER works and will not allow copy and paste... who charges for return shipping? This is ridiculous sent completely wrong product totally different color than advertised if I could rate 0 I would no managers EVER available for complaints rude reps and no response to several emails... I doubt they ever read reviews or listen to customer concerns I'm suorised they are still in business Robin you should be ashamed of yourself and the company

I received a catalogue with a lovely dress that I wanted to purchase. The item is also shown on the website. Started receiving pop ups with pictures of a blouse that I also liked. Received catalogue with photos of the blouse and dress last weekend. Tried to order both items. One not available until after June, the other until after July. Isn't it false advertising to show items that are not in your inventory? Ordered pants in February that won't be available until after Memorial Day. Nothing said on the site about a delay. Never again.

Soft Surroundings has a very high rate for standard shipping. (one skirt $9.95), and that was not an overnight rate. The On top of the high shipping rate, they also charge another $7 to return an item. To make matters worse, they are extremely slow in crediting refunds. Customer service attitude leaves much to be desired. The second item I ordered was $46 total, and the credit I received was $25 due to all the shipping deductions. Of all the major online retailers, I have never experienced this kind of rip off. Buyer Beware! In addition, when I checked with SS regarding the delay in posting credits, they blamed the post office in my city for holding my package. NOT TRUE. Their contractor held the package for TEN days. Buyer Beware!

I ordered a blouse with a $20 discount coupon and was charged $78.58 after the discount had been applied. This total included tax and shipping. After exchanging it once at no cost and then returning it because of size and quality, my refund was only $56.20 with the explanation that there was no refund on their $11.95 original shipping cost and I had to pay the $6.95 return shipping cost as well. This policy, in light of all the free shipping (at least one way) that is available will make me never use this company again. I find this abhorrent.

On new years day I ordered some clothing and a lamp for the living room. I ordered specific size (PL) and I received them in X-large and not petite. I opened up the box for the lamp and there was no hardware for the lamp to keep the fabric hat in hanged position. I guess i have to put the hat on top of bulb to burn out?! Please DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SOFT SOUUROUNDING. THEY DON'T TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE AT ALL AND AS A RESULT WE GET WRONG MERCHANDISE AT OUR ADDRESS!

I ordered 600 dollars worth of clothes for wife for xmas, i ordered 3 weeks out, then told most were coming in after xmas, the only item coming on time was the free faux throw, i canceled, they were pretty easy about that, but... i really wanted to surprise my wife with all the things she picked out. If at time of ordering i knew the time delay, i would have not even bothered. Reading all the reviews here, the same theme comes up a lot. They did cancel it right away when I asked, to be honest i was hoping they would rush ship, or something. Can you imagine letting 600 dolllars in sales go away like that? I guess they make money some other way.

I have TRIED to place 3 items so far from them. It takes around 2 months to get to me. I guess they ship from China maybe? The X-S was so HUGE that 2 people could get in there. Ordered XX-S and that was also HUGE.
I tried to order a top and perfume a month ago. Just realized I never got it. Called them today and turns out, there was no order placed by the customer service!
The images are great on their catalogs but the quality and customer service is extremely poor.

High price, poor quality and forget getting items shipped in this lifetime! Store tells item will be received by certain date (within 1 week of purchase) and I've been waiting for a month with delivery now said to be in another 2 weeks per conversation with online service rep.
They should get out of retail and get into catalog design business... catalog is great, but quality and service of clothing line not so much.
Stick with Chico's...
