I have sent my 14 year old son the last two years to Premier Soccer Camps and he has been absolutely happy with his experience. He felt that the coaching he got was just about the best he has ever received. That is saying alot because he plays for a US Soccer Development Academy Club and also plays ODP. My son attended PSC's location in NJ his first year and then we sent him to their PA camp last year. Both facilities were excellent in everyway including the dorms, fields and food. As a business owner myself, I felt the communication and everything else on the business side of Premier Soccer Camps was clear and straight forward. I have previoulsy recommended this camp to my friends and my son's teammates and would without question recommend it to anyone else.

For my family, this has got to be one of the best soccer camps in the country. I just signed my 2 boys up for their Carlsbad location for our 4th year in a row. The coaching staff at Premier Soccer Camps has been excellent each and every year. They typically bring back most of their staff year after year with always few new coaches to mix things up. I have come to know the Director well over the past years and Dennis Lukens keeps his camp extremely well organized with the campers supervised always. Every year that I drop my boys off, I know they are safe and will have a great time with a high level soccer experience as that has happened every year they have attended. My boys started attending Premier Soccer Camps at 11 years old and 12 years old. They are now both playing ODP in Southern California as well as playing HS soccer due in part to the time they have spent with Premier Soccer Camps. I have always recommended Premier Soccer Camps to our friends and to my son's teammates with many of them also attending in the past. I will go on record as giving Premier Soccer Camps my highest marks as a soccer camp and as a business.

This camp was an outstanding experience for our Boy's High School Team from Southern California. We brought 22 boys ages 15-17 to Premier Soccer Camps in Carlsbad the first week in August 2013. We got all we expected and much more. Their coaches were excellent and facilities as good or better than any camp that I know of in CA. We raised part of the money (25%) through a fund raiser (car wash, ect.) and the balance (75%) was paid for by our school. We paid the deposit up front. We arrived in 3 vans with our 22 players and 3 coaches. It turned out that our balance payment that was due of more that $7500 sent from the School District never reached Premier Soccer Camp's office. So there we were at registration owning more than $7500. Mr. Lukens greeted and welcomed us. He allowed all 22 players plus 3 coaches to attend camp even though we owed a significant amount of money. He said "No problem". We got food, lodging, Nike ball, Nike shirt, top-top coaches just like all the other 100 campers. Everything we were promised was delivered. They could have turned us away at registration and they did not. The School District had to issue a second check and Premier Soccer Camps was paid in full the next week after we had left. These guys and Director Dennis Lukens run a wonderful camp we have only postive words to say about them and their operation. As a High School soccer coach for 12 years, I would recommend Premier Soccer Camps to anyone, any organization or team that is interested.

Great camp! I highly recommend them. I sent my son the last 3 years and he has really grown from the experience. We have been treated very well by everyone associated with Premier Soccer Camps. Fantastic location in Carlsbad and a wonderful coaching staff. We signed up for their "Early Bird Special" offer for returning campers the last two years and have always received all that they promised to us. The instruction was some of the best soccer coaching my son has ever received. I have only good things to say about this business.

Nightmare! Last summer our club decided to bring 7 teams to this camp and so we hand delivered *, the owner/director about 90 campers at $595 each. He promised to pay our coaches for the week as they would coach their teams and he did not have to hire coaches. At the end of the week, he said he would mail the checks to the coaches. Guess what? He gave us the run around (one bs excuse after another) and, ultimately, only a couple of coaches got paid about 2 months later but only after we threatened legal action against him. We sent this guy about $50K in business and he rips us off! What's worse is that he promised soccer balls to all the KIDS and they were short balls at camp so * said he would have them "dropped shipped" to me first thing the following week. Again, I got the run around for about 6 weeks and then we finally threatened him with legal action and he sent the balls. My experience is this guy has ZERO integrity and I strongly recommend keep your kids away and take your camp business elsewhere.

I first sent my daughter to Dennis Luikens Premier Soccer Camp back in 2009, when Dennis had a location in Camarillo, CA. My daughter was 11 years old and had a wonderful experience that first year. Coach Lukens has moved to Carlsbad and my daughter has gone each and every year. It is a first class operation from top to bottom. The facilities are first outstanding with an expert staff and it is really, really well run. My daughter went again in summer 2013 and there were 100 campers the first week and 120 campers the second week. It her words "it was fantastic". My daughter Jessica is now a top club and HS player and the improvements she has made the last several years I attribute to attending Premier Soccer Camps. I can give it the highest recommendations.

Signed my son and two of his 11 y. O. friends. Three of my older sons friends 15 y. O. attended as well. There were a total of 11 kids at the camp. We were told there would be over 100 kids' but with only 11 kids, they couldn't even play a game.

Residential school had none of the additional "camp" activities as advertised--no pool for swimming, and they weren't allowed to use the gym. A bad experience overall. Likens is still dodging the older kids parents, who are extremely upset that for an advertised "premier" camp, their boys only had 12 and 11 year olds to play against.

Stick with a well known camp--not this debacle.

This camp was one of the best soccer experiences my daughter has ever had and we have been involved with soccer for more than 10 years. My daughter and her team decided to attend this camp. Her coach chose it and then got the whole team to sign up. It was fantastic. We requested that we be allowed to have parent chaperones live on the premises together with the team. The Director, Mr. Lukens allowed us to do this and we were treated very well. I saw first hand what a great experience this was for my daughter and her friends. The facilites were great, private school standard dorm rooms. Food was really good and the campus was right on the ocean with their own private beach. What set this camp apart from other camps that we have attended in the past was their staff. Dennis Lukens was there 24/7 and he directed the camp as well as coached the campers with about 9 other coaches. Every coach that I watched was absolutely outstanding, very knowedgeable and great with the kids. One example of their willingness to make everyone happy was that several our girls wanted to be 3 to a room and we did not put it on the application. During registration 2 male staff members immediately moved extra beds into the room that had 2 beds and made the rooms into triples. Seems like a small thing but it is an example of how the accomadated every thing we asked for. Another positive thing was two of the teammates about one month before camp were unable to attend and we were allowed to transfer their entire tuition to two different girls from the JV team. My daughter and her friends were 100% safe and supervised. I would highly, highly recommed this camp, I can not say enough good things about the whole operation from top to bottom that I witnessed in person.

What I know about this camp is that everyday my children called me from camp and told me how much they loved the camp and how much they had learned that day. My son told me that the coaches were great and really, really knew the game. At the end of the week they were returned to me safe, happy and tired. We selected their location in Carlsbad, CA last summer. We dropped off my son (11) and daughter (14) on the Sunday and the registration was easy and painless. My children got settled into their dorm rooms with help from the counselors. I stayed and watched as they did an evaluation of all the players at camp. Even though I am not a sports expert, it seemed very organized to me. The divided the entire camp into small groups and played small games to start. The Director, Mr. Lukens was in charge and he looked to me like he ran the training and the camp very well. The camp was held at a private school right on the ocean. I left my children and went home. When I picked them up to go home on the last day and drove home all they wanted to know was could they go back next year. We have already signed up again for this summer (2013) and hope to bring a few of my children's friends to Premier Soccer Camps in Carlsbad.

Wonderful camp. My daughter went last year to their Maryland location. She loved it. She felt the coaches and facilities were top class. She loved everything about it and can't wait to go back. For me the registration process was really good. Arrival day and departure day were well organized and professional Also, all communications with them were prompt, polite and all my questions were answered each time I reached out to them by phone or by email. Premier Soccer Camps is a very well run business and according to my daughter a first class camp. I will sign my daughter up for 2013 shortly.

We sent our Varsity High School team to this camp this past summer that was held in New Jersey and it was outstanding. It was my son's idea as he had found the camp's web site online. Our team trained together, stayed in the same dorm together and essentally did everything as a team. Our boys got all they expected and more. I stayed in a hotel nearby as I am the parent manager for the team. Sending 18 high school boys to a sleep away camp was a big investment and we wanted to make sure everything went well and as we got what was promised to us. I came over to camp every day and watched most of their training sessions. They had two coaches working with them most of the time. One was an American and one was from South America. Both coaches were fantastic. They really introduced high level stategies to our boys as well as signifcantly improving their skill level. I can only give Premier Soccer Camps the highest recommendation. I have first hand knowedge as I not only watched the training sessions, I looked around when they were not training and the staff was really were well organized and the campers as far as I could see were supervised at all times. Our boys only have positive things to say about Premier Soccer Camps. Our team wants to attend again in 2013 and we are planning to bring the JV team as well.

This is an outstanding soccer camp. I can't say enough about the quality of the service, instruction and attention to detail. My two sons chose to attend Premier Soccer Camps in Carlsbad last year. We live in NY. So I was a bit nervous about my two sons 15 and 16 years old flying across the country to a soccer camp they found online. Before we registered we called Mr. Lukens to speak with him about logistics coming in from NY. After we registered and paid we got a complete packet of infomation on what to bring, what to expect at camp, when to pay the balance and the rest of the important stuff. He had one of his staff meet my two boys at the airport in San Diego. His staff member (Sarah) immediatly called me to let me know that my boys had been safely picked up. Once at camp every phone call from my sons was only positive. They stayed for two weeks. Mr. Lukens and his coaches supervised the boys during the Friday, Saturday in between the two weeks of camp and kept them safe and busy. Once my sons returned home to NY they raved about the camp. They especially thought the coaching and competition were outstanding. In their first game back home in NY, both my wife and I saw a significant improvement in their play. They certainly were more confident. My youngest son had improved with the ball and both seemed to be physically in better shape. For me it was amazing to see the difference judy two weeks of training had made. We will return again in 2013 and have already pre-paid with their Early Bird Special. I would highly recommend this camp to everyone and anyone who loves soccer and wants their child to have a positive learning experience that is safe and run professionally.

This camp was fantastic. My 11 year old son attended their location in NY and it was wonderful. They delivered everything that they advertised. The coaching was fantastic. My son had a English Coach who played professional soccer in England and had a European Coaching license. The best part about it was rather than explain the skill, this coach demonstrated the moves. The food and dorms were first class. I would highly recommend this camp to any of my friends or anyone who is interested.

My son is 11 years old and a club player. I signed my son up for Premier Soccer Camps last year in 2012 for a week in August. I would recommend this camp to anyone who wants their child to get alot out of a soccer camp experience. It was my son's first sleep away camp and I was a little bit nervous. I found them online spoke to Mr. Lukens on the phone and then signed up over their web site. Everything they advertised they delivered. The facilities at the NJ location were excellent. It was held at a college campus, with college style dorms, very good fields, lots of good food. What set them apart for me were the instructors. Most of the time my son had a gentlemen from England and my son said he was the best coach he had ever had. I showed up at camp and watched 2 practice sessions and it was really fast paced with about 10 players in the group with the coach from England. I am not an expert but it was easy to see that the coach really knew what he was doing and spent time with each player giving good instructions and coaching. The thing I liked was that he demonstrated what he wanted rather than talking their ears off. This camp was top class in everyway and I would have no problems telling others about it and encouraging them to go. They have my backing, no question.

My son and daughter attended Premier Soccer Camps in 2011 and 2012. It was a fantastic camp. Dennis Lukens was on location 100% of the time as the Director of the camp. My children learned so much. Premier Soccer Camps improved them both dramatically after just one week at his camp each of the last two summers. We have gotten to know Dennis and he is a top level trainer and is extremly aware of running his business well, always making sure his customers get what they pay for and more. My children we very well cared for while there. They came home safe and really, really happy. Both of my children can't wait to return the next year. I would highly recommend Dennis Lukens and Premier Soccer Camps to anyone who wants to send their children to a fantastic, well run soccer camp.

I just had to put a post on this site after reading this outrageous first comment as I have been a customer of Dennis Lukens for 4 years. I have sent my 2 children to his soccer camp. I can only say that it is a fantastic camp and has been a wonderful experience for my children. My kids have had such a good time that last year we referred our entire team. 12 team members signed up and had the same great experience that my children have had in the past. I can say that Premier Soccer Camps has a fantastic and caring staff, Dennis brought a great mix if American coaches, International Coaches. The facilities in New Jersey were outstanding and everything that was promised was delivered. Supervision is really important to us and I found Mr. Lukens and his staff very responsible and safety conscious. 3 of our team members who signed up could not attend due to schedule conflicts. Dennis just gave us a credit and they transferred the one week of camp to a different members of our team. Our entire team improved substantially after just one week at camp. Everyone from our group has only positive things to say about Dennis Lukens and his soccer camps.
