Love this Site

I love shopping with Shoptiques. The concept is amazing; you can shop boutiques from around the world all in one place. My favorite part of shopping with them is that I get to find clothes that none of my friends have. It is so common today for everyone to buy the same clothes from the same few major stores. Shoptiques disrupts that cycle and makes it easy to get the coolest pieces ever!

I encountered a problem with an incorrect shipping address. I called the contact provided and spoke with a Katelyn. She took my info and told me not to worry. She would try and make contact with the Suppliers in hopes that the items were not shipped as yet. She phoned me back with the good news that she was able to reach out to all the Suppliers. She was extremely helpful.

I would not trust

Terrible service, very unorganized and very unprofessional. I plan to never purchase items from this website again. They sent me the wrong item and won't give me a refund on it...

Great experience

I was having a hard time finding a dress for my summer work party. I found shoptiques.com browsed a little before finding a ton of options. They have a lot of products on the site and stuff I haven't seen anywhere else. It was awesome because I didn't want to buy a dress from a big retailer and risk wearing the same thing as someone else. I ordered 4 different options, just in case, and ended up keeping 3 of them because they were so cute. I ordered on a Monday and the items were at my apartment by Wednesday. Super fast. When I returned the 4th item, it was super easy. They printed my shipping label so all I had to do was drop it off. Once I did that, they kept me updated with emails letting me know when my card had been refunded and offered me a discount code to shop with them again. I will definitely be using that!

I signed up for this company after they told me some of my favorite boutiques were also doing it. Turns out this was a complete lie. Those stores had not signed up and had definitely not paid any money to Shoptiques. Their systems are not easy to use and it takes a ton of work to upload product. We have seen 2 sales in 6 months and when I asked who was selling our product category well they told me a boutique in the south was. I called that boutique, who described this company as ScamTiques. Very accurate.

Be Very Careful

I signed up with this company b/ca they were expanding into gifts and home decor. I was very green at the time. I paid my fees to onboard my product. Their process for getting your pictures approved and the correct size is a huge nightmare and takes lots of time and energy. Finally, after getting products on the site, we launched our store with them. After a year, we have just broken even on our investment. Their main focus is women's wear and accessories. So, my product was new for them. Well, we don't get any love or promotion from them. I brought this up to the owner b/ca I wanted to know how to get more sales and stay relevant. She said that we should always be adding new product so that we are visible on the opening page of the site. After doing that for a while, I began to notice that wasn't working and we weren't being ranked properly or showing up on the first page at all. After pointing this out to them, they said that their editorial team is in charge of that. Not what I was told by the owner. This company is also growing very fast and they don't have any hard and fast rules on ranking but are making them up as they go. I can't seem to get a straight answer from any of them to help me be more visible on their site. If you do sign up with this company, get their rules in writing about how they are going to promote you or how you show up on their first page for visibility. If you don't, you will never sell enough to make any worthwhile money. I feel as though I have put in all this time and money and have nothing to show for it. The only person getting anything positive out of this is the owner of the company. She says that she is about the small boutique but I would strongly disagree. I do not recommend this site at all!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. The sales pitch sounded fantastic and once they have your money you have only "email" support and every listing you try to upload - vendor photos included - are constantly disapproved, which means they're not live on their site, and then it's very inconsistent as to what gets approved, and when. I couldn't even change my store header image without going through an email support person and several emails later about this one small thing it's still not changed. They're supposedly going to announce you as a "store partner" as well, and of course that never happened. So many things are terrible about this company. I joined so I would have an online boutique without having to invest a lot of money in my own. Being a small business this concept made sense to be part of but proves very dis satisfactory and makes your business 0 profit after you spend $1000 US. Do not join this platform; invest in your own e-commerce. Shoptiques will only leave you frustrated and out time and money you will never get back. Unless you want to flush $1000 down the toilet, plus the value of your time.

Sign of the Times

As we see more and more brick and mortar stores closing and online business booming, it's necessary to provide an online outlet for customers to shop. SHOPTIQUES has been an intricate part in my small boutique being able to gain customers from all over the world. Everyday I ship multiple orders placed through their site. Without the vast marketing efforts of SHOPTIQUES my customer base would be limited to foot traffic only. It's a great opportunity for small boutiques to grow their online business with confidence of having the boutique success team as a partner. SHOPTIQUES pays for shipping and returns, provides 24/7 customer service and facilitates communication between my boutique and online customers. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

We love Shoptiques. Shoptiques is not only growing our online presence, it also allowing us to ship globally through DHL. We have expanded our team of suppliers and social media marketers which in essence is Shoptiques assisting us in creating jobs not just within the US but internationally as well. Anytime we have to order new merchandise from the markets in Africa or Asia, we empower men and women in Small Business globally. As a first generation American, this makes me feel so proud. We love being a part of Shoptiques and we are proud to be one of their boutiques.

Works for us!

We have been on Shoptiques since May 2016 and it has been a great experience for us. It's a nice way to access customers outside of your own city and website (no marketing costs). Helps us to gain additional revenue and move inventory more quickly. We love the no packaging or shipping costs, and the fact that they take care of the customer service side. We simply have to add products and package them. The only thing they could improve is to find an easier, faster way to add/sync products, without it being all manual. I do want to mention that it does require some work (just like anything else) so don't expect to pay the joining fee and see orders roll in. They do have photo specifications you will have to meet, but also offer to take photos for you if you send in your products. I feel that this is understandable since they care about customer experience and having less returns. All in all, the investment was well worth it for us and we highly recommend it for boutiques that need additional sales outlets, have at least an hour or two a week to devote to managing the site, and either have photos or can take high resolution photos of their items.

Shoptiques has enabled me to become a multi-channel retailer. Prior to joining the Shoptiques team, I was solely a brick and mortar store attracting a more local customer base. Not only did Shoptiques help create my website and enable me to have an online presence, but being part of their sales and marketing platform allowed my business to grow and be seen by a much broader audience, including customers throughout the United States and in other countries! I am so glad that we joined the Shoptiques team as our online sales now contribute to a substantial part of our business. Shoptiques is also ideal for consumers... they do an amazing job giving consumers access to small Boutiques from around the world offering unique items and apparel that are not typically found in the local Mall or online. It's a Win-Win situation both for Boutiques and Shoppers!

Succesful selling

We have been very successful selling product on shoptiques.com and are consistently blown away by the improvements they continuously make to there platform.

We have been selling on shoptiques for 2.5 years and have seen some major growth during that period. Anytime we have any issues that are not being addressed the CEO and Managers are always quick to resolve them for us with a fair resolution.

I believe many of the complaints are from store owners who do not understand how much hard work actually goes into growing an online business whether it be on shoptiques.com or on your own.we continue to see shoptiques.com as a long term solution for our ecommerce needs.

Good Business Model

I recently joined Shoptiques a couple months ago and it's pretty good. We have been receiving a consistent amount of sales weekly and have not had any issues in terms of shipping or customer service. Their team has been helpful and has pretty good email support. Usually receive an answer within a few hours with a details response. Photo uploads are sometimes tricky, but I think they recently switch their guidelines, so it's been a bit better. Would definitely recommend them.

They went through this lengthy "interview" to see if we were a good match, then "invited us"" to join and accepted our $1k. Then rejected all of our products, apologized, said that we weren't a good fit and offered, i an email, to refund our $1k... over 3 months ago. Now we are emailing into a black hole. Buyer beware.
