Really protects the mattress
We've had this for over a year and everything as been good, unremarkable, until something happened that makes me realize it's amazing. (I hope this isn't TMI, but assuming people looking at this product would want to know) Had an overnight blood-leak onto my sheet and expected the mattress pad to have gotten bloody too, but when I pulled off the sheet it was almost completely still clean underneath! From a palm-sized blood spot on the sheet there was less than an inch of blood smear not even soaked in on the mattress cover. It wiped off pretty easily with water. So now I'm back getting another mattress cover for my daughter's bed!
Perfect
I have an adjustable bed, and after dealing with a fitted mattress pad that bunched up and was hot, I imagined the perfect solution. I searched "thin wool mattress cover" and landed at Sheperd's Dream. Thought it a bit pricey, but now that it's been on my bed for a while, I know it was money well spent. Excellent quality, stays put, very comfy, just perfect!
Simple and sustainable
I'm only rating at 4 stars since I've only been using this for a little more than two weeks. I'm a hot sleeper and need temperature regulation - but we've been in a cold snap, so nights are chilly. The product is well made and it is exactly what I wanted. I chose this product because it's made with US wool. I grew up raising wool breed sheep and wool is a true wonder fiber. Love that domestically produced wool is featured. Thank you for a beautiful product!

While pricey, these are the best, most simple mattress covers I have found. Lovey, functional, uncomplicated product.

This wool mattress protector is very well made. Most mattresses protectors I could find seemed to be made with synthetic or plastic materials. This wool mattress protector solved that problem.

Money well spent
I have this protector on ALL my mattresses and just bought one for a friend. They help keep you warm in winter, cool in summer and give enough friction to keep the sheets in place. Love these. Worth every penny.
Mattress Protector
Excellent quality and very soft. I have two on the bed to keep me warm in the winter (the gel mattress is too cooling). Comfortable in the summer also. Fits under sheets.

Very soft and fits on mattress well
I have a platform bed frame where the mattress sits down into the frame (no box springs) and this protector was easy to get on and easy to adjust if needed when putting on fresh sheets. I'm also sleeping on a couple of their wool pillows and those are also worth the investment.

This mattress protector fits my Saatva natural latex hybrid mattress perfectly. The mattress itself has a wool top, and this cover made by Shepherds Dream is the best cover for it. Thank you for making this great product!
