Warm but King size is narrow
The quality and warmth are perfect for winter. I purchased this in King at European Sleepworks and was surprised that it barely hung down over the edges of our California king bed. My fault I guess for not researching better, as the website does say it’s 100“ wide instead of 108“ like the other king comforters. Since the dog sleeps between us on top of the comforter we find that we need the extra width on the edges of the bed. I also am missing loops to tie the duvet cover on and keep it from shifting inside. These are really specific issues though and I would just purchase directly from Shepherd‘s Dream next time.

This comforter is everything we hoped it would be! Warm and snuggly, and all natural, it's made our dreams come true!

The nice one
Bought the Ashland for the suboptimaly insulated RV. This thing is awesome kept us warm while internal surface temps were in the low 50's.

Quality of Life Improvement
I compared a number of comforters before choosing this one, and I'm really happy I did!
Even out of the box, I noticed no strong odor. I expected some "sheepy" scent but there was none. I was almost disappointed there was none since I expected it reading other reviews. Take everything with a grain of salt I guess.
The comforter itself is thick without being too heavy and has been great through warm and cool weather. I change temperatures at night and would wake up in the middle of the night but that hasn't been happening.
So happy with my purchase!

Love it, warm but not too warm to wake me in the middle of the night. Easy to shake and fluff up in the morning or air outside in the sun from time to time. Did not find any "sheepy" smell as others have.

Thank you for the wool comforter. I love the comforter and it lives up to everything you say about it on your website except one thing. On your website it says it might smell a little bit sheepy. I found that to be an understatement. The sheepy smell was so strong that I couldn't have it in the same room with me at first. I aired it out on the line and then took it to the dry cleaner and now it is about half as smelly but tolerable. I ordered some cedar sachets to put in my duvet cover. That being said I am getting used to the sheepy smell.
