As lovely as ever. Since we are coming into winter, I got the thick batting. I plan to make a comforter with the wool batt and a quilted duvet cover that can be washed. As we move through winter and into spring, I will purchase a lighter weight batting for a warmer weather comforter. Left-over wool from the comforter will be made into a body support pillow.
My old cotton-filled futon reached retirement age, but I didn't want to buy a brand new one. Getting this wool from Shepherd's Dream was a more economical option, and I'm very impressed with the quality. I'll sleep easy knowing I'm on clean, organic, locally-sourced wool.
I ordered the EcoWool batting for a small "couch quilt." It was better than expected! The quality of the wool was superb and provided an easy to work with, lofty batting that is all the thins you want in a quilt: cozy, comfy, enveloping plushy goodness. I highly recommend choosing and using this for your next quilt or batted project over any synthetic micro-plastic trash.
Good quality, not harmful.
I highly recommend this batting. I made wool pillows from it and they are dreamy. Thank you.
I was very pleased to find this wool to use myself and share with students and enthusiasts
This company was recommended to me from an experienced doll maker.
The batting and wool are lovely and was packed and delivered quite nicely!
Get two twin size blankets, preferably wool. Buy 3 or 4 two-yard thick batting chunks of this wool. Lay the batts all out on the bottom blanket. Put the other blanket on top. Whip stitch around the edges, put some tufts throughout the middle section.
Boom. Most comfortable queen size mattress money can buy.
Done this three or four times now. Prompt shipping. Excellent product.
We had some left over this time, my wife made a comforter for our bed.
Buy wool. Wool is happiness.
It was exactly what I was wanting.
