Outside mount Installation a challenge

Ordered outside mount, morotrized roller shades that required spacer blocks. Screws were not long enough and ripped out of the wall. That made installation very difficult... and ineffective. There were also no instructions or videos specific to outside mount installation with or without spacer blocks. End cap on one is damaged - will be calling to get a replacement. May be returning if longer screws purchased at the store don't work.
