Choose another company! Wish I Read Reddit Reviews Before Buying!
Product is ok- so far-. I have installed 5 of 12 total blinds. They fit, and install got easier after I figured out some tips and tricks. No install instructions included with package. Online instructions aren't great. Hanging brackets are awkward to measure and drill. I was shocked and disappointed that my expensive blinds came with white mounting brackets and some random white strip at the top that are visible after hanging. It looks cheap and ugly. Also the white cords with black blinds? Really? The worst part is the non-existent customer service. I called and texted multiple times, but was unable to get through to anyone and with no response. I wanted to ask if they sold black mounting clips, what the white strip is about, and if I could purchase a rod/tool for moving the blinds up/down. My windows are giant and I didn't think about this potential problem when ordering. Due to this lack of customer service, I am now especially wary about my purchase, and enormously regretting it. I just hope they last, and the ones I haven’t hung fit! I spent nearly 3K, and it feels kind of like I threw it into the void. They do seem to work, and color is ok-ish. The clear tabs for lifting are ugly and hokie, but it seems kind of the standard…
I would suggest someone do better research and probably go with a local company. Getting ghosted after a massive purchase on a cheaply made product does not feel good, and really hurts buyer confidence. This is a bummer for the company because my new house is a looker and people ask about where I sourced my items. I certainly won’t be recommending Select Blinds! I cant even upload photos because it has to be smaller than 5mb…
Blackout Good... Overall Function, Not So Much
Ordered these ahead of moving into our new home so we missed the 90-day return window.
Installation was easy, and they seemed to work OK, but the more we use them, the more irritating it is to raise and lower them. We have top down/bottom up blinds and they are VERY lightweight, so it's hard to balance both sides as you raise and lower them to keep them level.
The blackout feature works well. If you just left them shut all the time they'd be great. If, like us, you raise and lower them every day, I'd suggest something else.
Lasted 5 years, then string broke after daily use of 6 months
I have had these blinds for 5 years. I loved them and recommended them to other people. But I would rarely move their position. Then my sleep pattern changed and after 6 months of daily use one of the strings snapped. So if you don't plan to open and close them regularly, these are great. I love the top down feature and the material I chose blocks the light well. But buy from a different company if you plan to open and close them regularly.
Two days with my blinds
After two days of having the blinds installed by my Super, I noticed that the right side of the blinds was slipping down a little bit upon further inspection. I could not comprehend how they were supposed to stay attached to a window with what looked like two little pieces of gummy tape. While trying to readjust to make them even again, the entire set of blinds collapsed into my hands. These are horrible! I have already requested a refund.

Bedroom shades
Very nice blinds for the cost. Blackout feature is great for morning sleep. Easy to install. Only small negatives are, the plastic handles are a little bit of a challenge to install, hard to snap into place and I wish I would have added at least an inch to the length measurement so they would easily sit on the window sill, they try to hold up off the sill. Overall a good value blind.
Lasted only two years
I have two windows which are side-by-side and so I bought one wide blind, which was great in the beginning.The blinds lasted about two years and then I heard a little snap and a good part of the blinds, which may be held together with string inside, now hangs crazy crooked because half doesn? T go up anymore. I would put a picture, but it doesn? T seem that I will be unable to. I? m putting yes to recommending their products. Just not this particular one.

Such a cool company to work with. They always have great deals, especially when you are ready to buy. The process is very simple, they lay out and explain the how while you shop, the choices are easy and the selection is vast. Once purchased, everything is so quick. The Installation
The Blinds laid on the guest bedroom bed after they were received. I opened them for the install directions. Once digested; tools gathered; measurements placed work began. First clip installed the other seven a snap. With your daughter assisting and little Tucker)140lbs) supervising the blinds where up in no time. One unexpected feature, the room darkening blinds appears to make the room quieter. Thank You!

Up/down blinds
Although I like the up/down blinds I purchased, I don't like the fact that when I try and lift the blinds from the bottom up, the cord does not retract too well causing the blinds to bunch up.

Quality product
The top-down bottom-up style is perfect for a room that needed some natural light while maintaining privacy (since the room is ground-level and across the hall from the bathroom). Product isn't cheap, but fortunately I had encountered a sale.
One improvement area is the installation instructions. The printed pamphlet included in the box was oversimplified; I had to visit the website to watch product videos to get the necessary details on positioning. Would help the end customer to expand or at least link/QR to the in-depth instructions.
Best place for SHADES
Have used Select Blinds for seveal window treatments, their prices are very reasonable and the products purchased withstand frequent use (shades still close and open easily). Recommend Select blinds for anyone needing window/door treatments. Good selection of products too.
Nice shades at a reasonable price
I needed a white shade for our bedroom and the sample I ordered (classic white) didn't seem like pure white but seemed a bit greenish to me but in the end, it is looking fine. I like the top down bottom up mechanism. It provides privacy without cutting too much light. These shades do offer enough black out, even with the little bit of light filtering on the side
Quality Product; Installation Improvement
High quality product, love the look and versatility. Waiting for a 50% off promotion sealed the deal as a no-brainer. The only trouble we had was with installation. My husband, an engineer, helped install and found the written included directions lacking. I supplemented with the website's install videos for the specific product.
Recommendation: integrate the product videos with the printed production manuals via QR code. Had I not known about the videos, we would've been lost. Integrate your customer installation for a more positive experience.
Being said, I referred you to my sister who is also considering ordering from you.
FIT options
We had 8 blinds we ordered, decided to check the FIT box to guarantee the sizes. To our.dismay, we ordered incorrectly. They replaced all the blinds free of charge. Unreal how great they were to get them replaced. 100%. Happy with Select Blinds. Ordered for over 10 years with them. Highly recommend
