We had already purchased and installed the LEVOLOR...
We had already purchased and installed the LEVOLOR interior roller shades from Select Blinds, and we are extremely satisfied with the product. We have a large outdoor patio which faces West, and we were getting blasted by the afternoon sun. After considering several options, we consulted with Select Blinds, purchased, and installed 7 sections. We are once again very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this product.
5 years later
Five years ago I ordered a blind to go in my kitchen over the sink window. Just finished remodeling my kitchen and eating area. I needed new blinds in the eating area. It was great that I was able to go into the website and find my old order and then match the new order perfectly! It like cohesive and you would not have known that they were purchased five years apart.

Perfect porch
Purchased this house a yr ago & love the screened porch. The only problem was the direct Sun from early morning til noon. These shades are just what we needed - they keep the porch & house considerably cooler.
STUNNING IN QUALITY, BEAUTY, AND FUNCTION
I purchased these shades for indoor use as a light filtering alternative to traditional shades. I had purchased several different style of shades from several different manufacturers, one being Hunter Douglas, which I had used exclusively on our second floor and sunroom. The price 4 years ago cost me 15,000 dollars.
Not loving the other options and even more than that the price. I went looking for window coverings for my formal living room, formal dining room, and kitchen that would look sharp without making the windows look dowdy with fabric and blocking light. We also have a lot of onlookers at our house that can feel like my privacy is always being invaded. People come and gawk and stare, stop with their cars and take pictures of our home all the time. It makes me want to shut my shades and run to a back room. They don? T even care if I am standing there watching them. These shades are AMAZING! They provide privacy both day and at night. No one can see clearly at anytime of day inside, even with the lights on. However, I can see the street and the sunlight pours in beautifully! I can see our but they can? T see in. You do see a shadow of lights obscured from the outside but you can see details. It? S just like shadows, nothing else.
Furthermore, they are more beautiful than my hunter Douglas shades and blinds. The Shade of white is the perfect shade, in my opinion. It is not white, white, like decorators white but has a more yellow tone, with it being yellow. I liken it to Benjamin Moores Simply white. They blend in so beautifully though that they feel a natural extension of the window and the color seems to obscure in the daylight when the sun comes and and at night it has a warm glow that feels very high end. I happen to have decorators white in my kitchen and they are fabulous still. This shade of white was not a contradiction to the white in my kitchen. It makes the white not look so sterile.
I highly recommend these shades for downstairs rooms, sunrooms, mudrooms, kitchens, and outdoor screens. I do not recommend them for bedroom or bathroom as they let in too much light and to protect privacy especially in urban areas.
We live in a suburban neighborhood. I use them downstairs and feel free to walk around with the shades closed at night even in my pj? S and feel confident that people outside can? T see me at all unless some creep walked up to the window and really looked hard, yet again, I can still see trees and other objects outside with obscurity.

Cannot find what they are made of anywhere
These blinds are greenguard certified. However, after careful inspection (after purchase) it looks like it is made of PVC (toxic especially in the sun or HDPE. It? S concerning and deceptive that no where and I mean no where in the ordering page does it tell you what it is made of. It did for the wood blinds I bought that were Greenguard Gold Certified. It seems fishy.
Great Product
I originally purchased 2 solar shades for my back screened in patio. They were very easy to install and more importantly, customer service is fantastic. I ordered 2 more and could not be happier how they look. Easy process from start to finish.
What a Find

Bought 2 shade for my back patio. They were very easy to install by my boyfriend and myself. They look great, seem to be great material, and provide great privacy. Very pleased

These shades are just what I wanted. Relatively easy to install and they look great. I always return to Select Blinds when I need blinds of any kind.
Serves the purpose well
I have ordered this shade twice. The reason I give it only 3 stars for construction and value is that the first one came completely off the headrail and fell into a heap in the porch. Customer service was very kind and had a new one made for us, and so far no issues. We ordered a second to match and so far so good. I wish they came in lengths a little longer than 108? Since my back porch has very tall ceilings. I am glad they now include brackets for holding the bottom of the shade in place. We had to buy our own elsewhere for the first shade. Overall, I? M giving it 4 stars.

We are pleased with these exterior solar shades. They truly help block our SC afternoon sun on our back porch. I like how you can see through the shades. I successfully measured and installed these 3 blinds and they look great.
I had an estimate from a local solar shade company which was twice the cost of these shades. We are very happy with this product!
Good Value
Quite satisfied with product, though it? S been only three weeks. Installation was done using my own heavy metal angle brackets attached to provided end brackets, under the roof eave, for the purpose of shading my mohagany front entry from UVs. Would be better quality if roll ends were metal vs plastic. I question the longer term durability of the two thin plastic nubs at the end that locks into the metal bracket. If they? Re compromised, the entire product becomes junk.
Otherwise and overall, at this time, pleasantly satisfied with product and value.

In a little over 2 weeks had ordered and installed. So impressed with the quality of the Solar Shades. They look beautiful and do an amazing job of blocking the hot bright Texas sun in the late afternoon. The process was easy and Customer Service was outstanding! Will be ordering again soon! THEY ARE PERFECT!
They are Beautiful and fit perfectly on our new Pergola. As the Pergola faces west, no more issues with the hot, bright Texas sun. Couldn't be happier with the Customer Service received and quality of the product. Ordered and received in a little over 2 weeks. We put them up right away. Will be ordering again soon for our other rooms!
Very Effective Solar Shade, but Watching the Wind
We installed the 3% Classic Exterior Shear Weave Solar shades just a couple days before it reached 90. They made an immediate impact on the temperature in our western exposure rooms. They will be much cooler through the summer.
The shades were easy to install but I am not sure we have the best tension on them.
Our typical wind blew one shade loose from its tie down. I am adjusting the vertical location of the tie-downs on that shade to increase the tension. I know the shades are guaranteed but I will be watching for wear due to our desert winds.
