Skylight Blinds work great!
We recieved the samples and then the blinds all in a timely manner. The installation was just a bit challenging - I provided the measurements just a tad heavy as instructed and had to remove one of the end caps to get the horizontal components in. Also, the pairing button on the motor is recessed and you must press it through a rubber gasket, but once paired and installed everything works great! We are very pleased and will recommend Select Blinds to anyone needing good blinds and service. Thank you
Skylights with Remote
These are beautiful and very well made. My contractor installed them and said that they were challenging to install. The instructions could have been more clear. However, now that they are installed, I am enjoying them a lot.

Great Product! Install not for Beginners.
Very happy with this product! I used the Storm DC color after looking at the samples. If you want to have some color on your shade when installed to the window, go with a darker color. Storm was a dark sample and after install seems to show up as a medium tone. Alittle tricky to install since my skylight is on a slope. I ended up using my handyman to help Once we studied the manual multiple times, made our markings, we had it installed in 30 minutes. The shade looks great and keeps my upstairs a few degrees cooler. The product is quality. It was easy to use the measuring guide. I had no issues. I went with the manual shade for the ease of maintenance. Overall very happy with the service and product and will use the site again.

Skylight Blinds
The blinds themselves are great, but the installation instructions that came with them were horrible. I am very good with home projects, but the instructions were very unclear, and the illustrations within the instructions were terrible. The attempt to show placement, direction, and depth was inadequate. That said, I eventually figured it out and completed the installation, and I was happy with the result.
Just right!
It helped so much to get the free samples of shade when deciding on the type and color. The instructions for measuring worked out well, and installation went smoothly. My skylight blinds are perfect. They provide the right amount of shade to cool the room and enough cover to protect my furniture.
Nice Product... Issue with packing
I'm happy with the blind, wasn't so happy when I unwrapped it and discovered I cut one of the strings while trying to remove the tape used for packing. It was pretty impossible to see. When I realized what I did and looked at the other end I still couldn't see it.

Final Product Looks Great
For the price and the final installed product, we are very pleased. We installed two manual operating, light filtering skylight blinds. They look amazing and professional. Very impressed with the materials, the precision measurements and fit in our window boxes. There were some hiccups along the way with shipping and the wood screws provided were too large for our installation site, we had to purchase wood screws at the local Box store. It was our first time installing skylight blinds and felt the printed instructions were difficult to follow, but videos helped. We did not call customer service, maybe we should have. Second install went much faster than the first. LOL.
I am very happy with these shades
I am very happy with these shades. I did a lot of searching for quality motorized blinds at a reasonable price. These blinds are perfect. My questions were answered thoroughly regarding the motorized blinds. Installation was a breeze. All three of my skylights are synced to work together. Going from manual to motorized blinds in my ceiling is the way to go. You won? T be disappointed in the quality. Great value!

Beautiful double cellular blinds for our XL skylights 4' x 5'
The sales people and the people who help you decide and give information about the blinds were wonderful I would suggest though that select blinds should put a waterproof plastic bag over the outside of the box. We were lucky we were home just when it started to rain. If we weren't it might've ruined our blinds and the FedEx didn't make you sign for them.
No reply to warranty claim
I was happy with the product initially but four days after a problem I have no response.

Great Products
I've ordered from Select Blinds several times in the past and have always had a great experience and never had an issue with them fitting correctly. This most recent purchase was for our skylights. My husband is pretty handy, with most things, but these were a little more challenging, especially because of the angle and height to install (he's not very tall), so even on a ladder, could not reach. However, we called a friend, who is extremely handy and taller and he installed both within an hour.
Excellent purchade
Excellent purchase. Installed very easily. Works great and looks good. Also has reduced the temperature of the room significantly on hot summer days.
Nice item, no product support
We purchased an older home and did major renovations. Our contractor recommended Select Blinds as he has had past clients who ordered them and were very pleased. We ordered samples and received them the next day! Very nice and nice quality. After spending $4,000+ on 9 solar skylight shades, we had them installed by our contractor, is where the party ended! Our solar shades started 'beeping' after one year, where they were supposed to good for at least 5 years without being recharged. After many emails back and forth, we were told to check the site for trouble shooting, which we did only to find out that we could change the batteries in our remote or get a ladder to recharge the solar battery which would take 6 hours per shade. Our kitchen skylights(4) that are 16' up. This would mean that I would have to buy a very tall ladder or have our contractor come back. We changed batteries in our remote, even sent a video of opening the battery packaging and its installation, as they requested. Finally, after more emails to them, where we heard nothing back, no further assistance from Select Blinds, we paid our contractor to come back to charge the blinds for 6 hrs. They were good for about 3 months when the beeping started again! So, if you can reach your blinds and have a very long cord to recharge them, go ahead, take a chance. We do not recommend this product or Select Blinds. After we made our purchases, which they were so eager for, all customer support stopped. They do NOT stand behind the product they are selling.

First time Self-Installed Skylight Blinds
Looks beautiful. A little tricky for a DIYer on an 8 ft. Ladder. A double cell is fantastic for insulation. I've been meaning to do this for years to cut down on convection cooling in our house. Our skylights are at the highest point in the house where warm air rises to be cooled at the surface. This should help keep us warmer in winter.
