Ordering the blinds was easy and the process pretty straightforward. Received and order confirmation email and that was about it. The next email was from FedEx about my delivery. FedEx rescheduled my delivery twice because they are the worst of the delivery services now. Blinds arrived and were packed well enough to survive fedex. The first motorized blind installed easily. The second was tangled so I had to really pull the strings to get them to release while I had some press the buttons in the app. Once installed the blinds worked for a week following the sunrise and sunset schedule and then they quit. Had to modify the schedule to use times and seems to be working this week.
I don't usually do this
But I had to write a review. My DYI projects usually end with major depression followed by wine... but these shades installed and were blocking out the sun in... get this... under 3 minutes. Easy to install and the perfect fit. I would love to take credit for it... but I think it was you. Thanks for a product that actually delivers.
Love the blinds but hate the button!
We? Ve ordered this style of blinds before, they? Re well made and seasonably priced, but they have a new feature which I definitely do not like. In order to lower or raise the blind you must press and hold down a button mounted on the top
Surface of the pull down handle. Since I am only 5? 4? tall and the fully raised raised blind sits at 6? High, it is nearly impossible for me to compress the button and keep it compressed until it is lowered by about 12?.

We ordered our blinds online & everyone we talked to was very helpful & easy to understand & deal with. The blinds look great in our sunroom. We didn? T want to spend a lot of money & we didn? T. We got another estimate on blinds & it was double what we payed at Select Blinds!
Great Lightfiltering Shades
This was my 3rd order, for my dinning room, I had already added these shades to my livingroom and the blackout shade in my bedroom. I am a non-mechanical older woman, but have managed to install all of them myself.

These shades are a perfect fit. The help insulate against the weather and are good looking. This is not the first time I have ordered from Select Blinds, and it won't be my last order.
Installation
Couple of the metal brackets had to be modified with a wrench so I could use the bracket for installation.

Almost Great
I like these inside-mounted blinds. They were easy to measure, order and install. The one thing I don't like is the functionality of the looped cord for raising and lowering the blinds. The cord comes out and hangs down from the top left front end of blinds housing, and because of safety concerns with children, is designed to be secured to the window frame or adjacent wall with one of two plastic mounting brackets that keep a downward pressure on the cord, releasing a safety catch mechanism inside the cord tensioner that attaches to that bracket, and with the resulting tension preventing kids from looping the cord around their neck when playing. The problem is once the cord tensioner is secured to the mounting bracket, the top of the cord rubs so hard against the opening that it makes the blinds harder to raise & lower. Since we don't have little kids, I was able to defeat the safety mechanism inside the cord tensioner by simply holding it in the down position with a little zip tie, and now the blinds are very easy to raise & lower without having to use the mounting bracket.

The blinds look beautiful and go up and down easily. I am hoping they cut down on drafts this winter and heat this summer. I am NOT handy, and managed to put up all four in one afternoon. Will be buying more for other areas of my house.
