Get these for every room
I ordered three of these for my children's rooms and will eventually buy more for the rest of the rooms of our home. The measuring instructions were clear, and I plugged the measurements into the measuring tool which made me feel confident that these would fit. I installed 2/3 of the ordered shades in my son's room, and it only took 30 minutes. The mounting instructions video was clear. The shades were the perfect fit for each window and installed beautifully. I've noticed the temperature in the room with these shades is staying much more consistent this summer than in rooms without the shades. Shades are truly blackout and are perfect for making sure my kid gets the best sleep possible. Highly recommend!
Misleading
Took a little longer than expected to receive. In the headlines it says " Black or Nior shade with all color black pictures". I receive them and they are white on the outside! CALL TO CONFIRM FIRST!
Quality has gone down
This shade was a replacement for a 10 year old Select Blinds shade. The lift style has changed, which is fine. The clear plastic snap on lift handles are a new part that feels like a budget afterthought that will break in less than a year of use. Not the quality of previous shades I’ve purchased from this company.
The shades are fine - but
We have ordered from Select Blinds before and was satisfied with the order. This time our order included two large windows 70x71" and we measured according to instructions. Both blinds are a bit too small - the inside mount itself when centered, has a gap of 1/2 inch on each side. These were blackout shades, but because of the gap, it lets light in on both sides, defeating the light blocking purpose.
Terriific blinds -- fit like a glove
We love these blinds. They are so well fitted, I initially thought they were too large. But they're perfect. My partner was able to install them easily.

High cost of disappointment
We have purchased window coverings for several of our homes throughout the years from Select Blinds, and this time, boy are we disappointed. These do not retract easily, in fact, you have to use your fingers to get them up. I have another set of similar blinds in a different room from a competitor and they are awesome- easy to pull up, thicker material, nicer header. For what we paid for these, I expected so much better. This will be the last time I order from Select Blinds
Cordless cellular blinds
Happy with how they look & function on the windows. Good idea to order swatches to choose color. Had a handyman install them & he seemed to think they were good quality too. I gave a 4/5 because u wished they were a little less expensive!
Great value
These look great and have minimal profile while opened allowing for great views. When down they provide great coverage for tv watching during the day! Highly recommend if you are looking for a slim profile but want options for room darkening or privacy.
Needs some minor improvements
Bought these blinds to replace our curtains. Chose this style because I read it helps with condensation which we were struggling with and had to repair our wall because of all the moisture, but we are still getting condensation! So maybe the cellular design doesn? T help much for that purpose. Overall they are nice but needs some minor improvements: they? Re difficult to connect to the app/remote, why do I even need an app for my blinds, the open and close very slowly, and there is small cracks between the blinds and our wall, therefore letting in light, and they don? T sell light blocking strips so we had to order separately.

Specialty windows call for specialty blinds
I have a custom sized window in my bedroom that I needed black out shades for because of shift work. I measured to the 1/4" and the shades were delivered timely in a near damage proof box. It was exactly as measured & pictured. Also the price was very competitive considering the custom fit. I would highly recommend and buy again!

From start to finish, I have been thrilled with SelectBlinds! I learned about them through the New York Times' Wirecutter column, which rated this company as having the best blackout cellular shades. I requested samples that arrived quickly and placed an order for our two guest bedrooms, which also arrived quickly. The shades are made of very high-quality material, do a fabulous job of blocking light, and look great! I wish I had known about them years ago when we bought our house and went through a local company to order cellular shades (a great company with a quality product, but the cost was astronomical). If I ever need to buy shades again, I will definitely buy them from SelectBlinds!
Order made right
My original order was not what I wanted at all. Customer service had me order incorrect blinds when I wanted blackout blinds. I complained but things were made right after talking w a manager by the Jasmin she was fantastic and got me exactly what I wanted. These are excellent black out blinds I would say the only flaw w these are they are not real durable they are paper thin and in my opinion a bit too pricy for the material. I don? T have kids or anything so for me these will work fine. Thank you for making things right!
Fast and easy
The shade in my son's room broke and I needed a quick and easy purchase to replace. Select Blinds has always been super easy and fast.
Good for the money
Website was easy to use. Shades black out light very well. Only disappointment is that the construction is lightweight (not as sturdy as hoped for) and therefore makes the retraction function a bit difficult. We were used to Kirsch brand, but they are much more expensive.
Blackout blinds
The supervisor Jasmin made things right with my previous order that I was not so happy with. I am very happy with these blinds and the blackout is just right for the bedroom. I think the material could be better but overall this is just what I was looking for. Thanks for making things right.
