Disappointed
I thought it would be darker then what received thicker, didn't fit exactly like expected either.
Follow directions!
I did not follow the directions so my shades are unfortunately too narrow - that? S on me. BUT the shades are great! Easy to install! And if you actually follow the measurement directions you won? T be disappointed!

Outdoor Blinds
Bought 3 outdoor blinds to try to keep the heat down inside. They are a high quality blind, easy to install, and work well.

Excellent quality
Ordered 3 outdoor Solar shades for west facing windows. Measurements were accurate and covered windows perfectly. Has definitely cut down on late afternoon heat! Arrived promptly.
Loving them so far!
I got 2 shades for my back patio. They look beautiful and function well. Instructions were a little challenging at times depending on what options you may or may not have. The tension control looks like cheap plastic. Hope they hold up in the hot and cold weather. They are also clear which is fine but I have all black blinds and they really stick out. So far, so good!

The website directs you how to measure plus you can request free samples. Customer service was able to answer my questions. My husband did the installation, and the most difficult thing was physically drilling the holes into concrete siding on the screened patio! We get evening sun, but now the 1% solar shade keeps the sun out and the temperature cooler!

Great product at a great price that's easy to install
Ordering was straight forward with a clear and precise website. Loved the instructions and videos on how to measure the windows. Product came nicely packaged and well packed. Installation was a breeze with the detailed instructions included. Wife is happy so I'm happy!

Love the look, easy to install (if you measure correctly, which I did). Unfortunately only gets 3 stars due to shades not retracting easily. Great customer service sent replacement with no issue. Still have a couple (2out of 5) that don't move easily but I am ok with since mine are open alomst all the time.
Great Company
This is the 6th shade we have purchased from Select Blinds for our lanai. The blinds are standing up to our Florida weather (sun & rain) very well. They're still like new. The shades always come quickly and we have had great service, start to finish.
A Good Value, but not great
I've bought several interior shades from Select Blinds and found them to be excellent. These are pretty good, but of a lesser quality. Their construction seems flimsy in comparison. Overall they are a decent value, easy to install and they look good. My only concern is how their lighter weight construction will hold up over time. I recommend this with slight reservations.
