Wonderful experience!

Perfect addition
These roller shades were perfect for this room. They allow some light in, but you have a dark private appearance from the outside for privacy. We were glad we choose the 1% transparency.

Not impressed
I got the basic exposed roller version. I like not putting a cover over it but the brackets stick out and look ugly. My biggest gripe is that when I pull down to roll it back up, it doesn't go. I have to push it up and then roll it from the top.
Communication
I called several times to find out when my order would come and got no response. After weeks, I 'talked' with someone or something on chat, and after I said that I think I have been scammed, the blinds showed up at my door a week or so later. There just seemed to be no one around and no way to reach anyone. They arrived much later than the website said they would be shipped, unless they are made in China and that is considered the ship date. Now that I finally have them, I like them, but it was a hassle to try to find out anything.

Product is great. Only negative I have is the spring loaded anchor for the chain is a bit hard to make work right.
Received and installed the SelectBlinds product
Overall, measurements were true and delivery was timely. Quality of product materials is not what we had expected, hardware is poor grade and difficult to manage, and sash cord is plastic making for clumsy operation.
Cost Effective and Met Our Needs
The ordering process was relatively easy. One of our material selections was back-ordered but we were kept informed and delivery was made ontime with their prediction. Fed Ex Ground should never be used, as they left our products across the bottom of our 325 ft paved driveway at the public road. This was inappropriate given the weather, traffic, and other concerns including being damaged by someone pulling in our driveway. Installation was easy. Beware the blinds cannot be installed without a gap between the edges of the blind for large window applications.

Our office has loved these blinds. They do a great job blocking the sun while still allowing us to see out. We especially like their minimal design and ease of install.
