Pretty disappointed.
Quality control is lacking. I ordered two sets. On one of the sets, I got two “right side” rail bottoms. There’s scratching on two of the frames (through the paint, to the metal). The adhesive “brushes” that run the length of the frame were all mid-placed, like they had been in the package tightly for months. I had to pull them all off and redo them.
Honestly, I think it’s way too expensive for this level of quality/craftsmanship. Also doesn’t block all the light - decent size gaps up under the valence.
I would not buy again.
The blinds ship from Vietnam - Shipping time was over 3 weeks!
DO NOT PURCHASE unless you have 3+weeks to wait on the shipping. After they ship there are multiple delays waiting to receive clearance from various agencies. The company should disclose this in the product description! I would never have purchased them if I had known I would still be waiting for them to arrive a month later.
AMAZING!
These blinds are AMAZING (I? M already measuring a second window to get another set for a high sun window to help with heat in the summer)?. I? ve actually bought EXTREMELY similar blinds to these in the past FROM THIS SPECIFIC WEBSITE and I literally adore these so much more.
I live in an older manufactured home and the walls and windows are VERY not right and therefore windows are not square and it? S basically impossible to mount anything to any horizontal surface in this house with any promise of it actually staying there so figuring out window treatment options has been a delight. Then I remembered that these guys were really reasonable price wise and the blinds that I once got from them were AMAZING (and total blackout because I? M a picky super light sensitive sleeper)?. In about two clicks I found these which I was nervous wouldn? T work because of the lack of straight/squared windows? These totally work (if your window is beyond out of angle it might not/ there could probably be some gappage that would be VERY noticeable)?. The tracks along the side keep the blinds in place (so my cat doesn? T try to climb INTO them), keeps the top of the blinds from slipping down, and then uses the bottom blackout part to keep everything locked in place. It? S rather brilliant for renters or people who may have issues screwing into walls for whatever reason. I had a bit of a personal user error moment but it took maybe 5 minutes to install these and i think I? D even try these on an ill placed skylight that adds 8 degrees to our kitchen that we normally have to completely blackout for the summer so, I? M a happy customer and I? D recommend these for sure. I? ll be buying more of them for sure as well haha!
I picked this company because I? D used them before and had no issue personally? This time around I also had no issue. Got my order super quickly and as described. They don? T really update the order tracking all that well but eventually you? Ll get a shipped notice haha!
Perfect for our needs
These blackout blinds work perfectly for my husband's office. We live in Arizona where it's hot most of the year, and his office gets the afternoon sun and gets terribly warm and uncomfortable, causing our AC to kick on even if the rest of the house is still cool. So we ordered these blinds in the hopes that it would help, and it has! I measured exactly like the website told me too, and they are a perfect fit. I installed both of the blinds by myself within 10 minutes. Honestly, it would have been more like 5 minutes if they had come with instructions, but they didn't, so I had to keep stopping to watch a video on YouTube. Once installed, they worked perfectly and looked gorgeous. They absolutely block all light in the room! They are now doing their job of keeping the room way cooler and my husband happier in the afternoons :D
Perfect fit
The blinds were exactly measured and fit in perfectly. It? S nice that you just place them in and push one lever. They look professionally done like window was constructed with blinds in them. We are very satisfied and now our living room blocks out light for movie night! Plus city lights done bleed in at nighttime
Love, Love, Love our Blackout Shades
We ordered some samples, picked out color and then placed order via the phone to make sure measurements were correct. When received, the instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. Took a few minutes and maneuvering to get the tracks lined up correctly, but when completed, we were so impressed. I am so pleased with the end product and the results are amazing. I would recommend taking the time to measure, order and install, it will be worth it.
Great blinds
The blinds could easily be installed by one person if it's a smaller window. My window is 70 x 70, so it took two peop! E. They look really nice and are a great quality.
Love the blinds, a couple of small issues
So in the end we love these blackout blinds. We have ordered numerous blinds from select blinds and have been very pleased with all of them. They are a bit pricey (even with the perpetual 45% off plus extra 10% that you can usually find). But they stand by there product - we have had only one blind fail, we went through their warranty process, and they shipped us a replacement right away. It seems that these blinds are made overseas, so the time to arrive after they were shipped seemed excessively long. It took us about a month overall to receive them after we ordered them. My one minor issue with these blackout blinds were that they were slightly too large for the window when they arrived. I carefully measured the window's width and height, but I think because of the "true fit guarantee", they made the blinds slightly large. They are adjustable to fit the window width in case they are slightly small and could have been installed in about 10 minutes if that were the case, but even on the smallest setting they had to be knocked into place and damaged the trim slightly. The height wouldn't fit at all. My choices were to contact the company, where I'm sure they would have stood by their warranty but it would have caused additional delays, or to trim them myself. Overall it took me about 2 hours to do what should have been a 10 minute install. One other minor note - the instructions did not include how to set and reset the adjustable width and I had to figure that out on my own.
Cordless Blackout shades
Product was as advertised with no color or dimension problems. One shade came "deformed" but was replaced with no hassle. Good custmer service. After about five months the shades are exhibiting some problem retracting all the way up. It is starting to take some extra manipulation to get them completely retracted. So far we love them but if they get to where they don't go up completely that might change. I have video and pictures but I see there is no way to upload them.

Quality blinds good pricing
We ordered several top down bottom up blinds and one bottom up blind for a very large window. The order process was easy to use online. All of the blinds were no drill and this was our first experience with this type. So far they have stayed in place! At times we have to push up on the top of the blind due to a space that appears at the top where the blinds connect to the frame. The large window blind came broken which was surprising since the packaging was good. This blind took longer to receive probably due to the size. We filed a warranty claim and a replacement blind was sent. We were pleased with this process. Thank you for your service.
Blackout bedroom blinds
Blinds are great for blacking out sunlight, but the frame does not allow you to open your windows. Would not recommend.
Really, really dark - tricky install
I was looking for an opaque shade. I did not actually reallize that this is a total blackout shade with all edges fully blocked by interlocking designs. It does not let ANY light through. Which is fine, but over-designed for my purposes. I did find the install a little tricky as the side verticals and the top section did not fit together as designed and described. I had to use a sharp knife to trim a few mm off a plastic component in order to push the pieces together. Having done that, it fit and worked fine.

I love my new blackout shades. I installed it in my new born nursery and the shades blocks the sunlight completely. It looks great and great value!
Website could be better
There are away too many choices of different kinds of lines with no quick way to compare their different features. It takes a long time to do comparative shopping on your website. For the vast amount of different types of blinds, there are shockingly few color choices available. I ordered every shade of brown you had as a sample, and none of them were the right fit.
Best blinds ever!
Being a day sleeper I needed something to help darken my room. The honeycomb blinds work better than anything I've ever tried! Only wish I'd found these sooner.
Changing out the old!
I ordered 7 windows in my home & measured myself. Half the order received was incorrect (my mistake) so I reordered. Initially I purchased the extra coverage to cover things like this. BAMMMM…… I called them, gave new measurements, they sent correct ones out. Everyone I spoke to was very professional, kind, & patient. The product is well made & love the colors! I would def order from Select Blinds again! The shipping did not take as long as they said- all came pretty quickly….

Works well to block the light and super easy to install. No idea how people can have trouble installing them - the short video that is included with in the product photo gallery is very clear. No need for instructions to be included.
