I ordered what was supposed to be similar to "Savanna by Isabell," which I love. I actually still have some of the original left, and what I got from ScentMatchers bore absolutely no resemblance to it. Even taking into account possible changes due to age, neither I nor several other people could detect any similarity between the two. I was willing to be forgiving of the extremely long lag between ordering and shipping if it meant I could have my all-time favorite scent again, but between the slow fulfillment AND the inaccurate scent, ScentMatchers is definitely "do not order" in my book. To add insult to injury, I don't even like the scent I received -- regardless of its similarity to what I ordered!

Terrible experience all the way around. The fragrance was offensive and nothing like the original scent. I even sent them a sample! After 2 tries, I just asked for a refund. No response. They do not return any emails and just ignore you. The website claims it will fully refund your money if they can't get it right. I think its a scam and they have no idea what they are doing and know it. Read the reviews they are terrible. I wish I had taken to time to do so. My bad. My advice RUN. RUN. RUN...

I ordered a scent from the list of scents on the website. When it arrived it smelled correct in the bottle but when applied to the skin had too much floral base. I contacted the company and they were very accommodating. They sent out a collection bottle in which I sprayed a little of the actual perfume and then I sent it to them and they created the scent from the actual perfume and it's perfect t! They went above and beyond to correct the problem and make the scent perfect! Now my scent formula is held on site and I can order more at any time! Thank u scent masters!

I had purchased a matching scent for Ocean Pacific's Op Blend a few years ago from this site and the match was close to perfect. I ordered the exact same scent a few months ago and it didn't smell ANYTHING like the original scent! I'm completely disappointed! Although the company tried a second time to recreate the scent, it was still nothing like the original and they WILL NOT refund your money! I would have rated it one star, but I gave two because of their weak effort to try an additional time. I will never order from this site again.

On January 28,2019, I placed an order for a facsimile of Abercrombie and Fitch Vetiver cologne, a men's fragrance that has been out of production for many years. I suggested that I send a small sample. ScentMatchers replied this was unnecessary. The product was delivered on February 13th. It had absolutely no resemblance to Abercrombie and Fitch Vetiver cologne. It had the unmistakable odor of straight vetiver oil in a carrier vehicle fluid. Rather than a fragrance, they sent an odor. I emailed ScentMatchers immediately expressing my dissatisfaction. On February 16th, I received a response which basically said, "We guessed, but really didn't know what the original fragrance was like." After several exchanged emails, I sent a sample of the cologne on March 1st. It is now April 4th and I've heard nothing from ScentMatchers. I've emailed and received no response. I am now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Complaint Division of the Michigan Attorney General's Office.

The first fragrance was not what I had hoped but they gladly sent a replacement and I LOVE IT! Thank you!

On December 21 2016 I placed an order for Straw Hat by Faberge. Initially we were disappointed and thought that the scent was different. Scentmaster graciously gave us a refund without our even asking.
Later I found an original bottle of the perfume and gave it to her for her birthday. She opened it and found it was the same as what Scentmaster had provided 2 years earlier. Turns out, they properly duplicated the scent.it was her memory of the scent (and her taste in perfume) that had changed!
Even though they were right on the mark in duplicating the scent, they gave us a refund without any objection. It's great to deal with a reputable company that provides a great service and treats their customers generously.

I thought I could get a discontinued scent for my wife for Christmas. When it came in, it wasn't close at all. I contacted them, they sent another of the original request, still not close.
When I say not close, it wasn't close or vaguely resembling anything close.
So, since they don't offer refunds, I thought I could request something more current. No match to that either.
I wanted to wait before posting a review to give them a chance, but this has become a running joke of the family now- and I am the one laughed at, not the company, and I'm out $80.

My purchase is not at all similar to the Lauren scent. I have migraines and always wore Lauren because it didn't cause my migraines. I wore it for 30 years. First spray of scentmasters caused a migraine and I had to take off clothes I sprayed it on. Too sweet and flowery smelling. Very disappointed in it and it smells like smells like rubbing alcohol mixed with cheap perfume. Presentation nice is the only compliment. Not at all what I expected and not worth price.
