Savvas Realize

Slow
- Pages take about 2 seconds to load, or longer if being redirected from an embed.
- You can't go to the next page while another page is loading.

Frustrating
- Various types of responses are inconsistent on how they work; some allow you to retry if you make a mistake, others don't.
- Quizzes' multiple choice doesn't award partial credit (say, selected A, was actually A,B - gives 0. Unsure if this is teacher-configured).

Buggy
- Responses for long answers sometimes doesn't save.
- Selecting the button to open in a new tab on an embed takes a long time to load, and sometimes doesn't even send you to the assignment you clicked the button on.

So 4 months ago, my school district in Jersey City, New Jersey switched to Savvas Realize and it is so slow, and wording is hard to understand. I would suggest going to our old math curicculum which is Go Math!, it's basically the opposite of Savvas Realize.

This is part my teachers fault and part just because this curriculum sucks. It's just reading answering questions, repeat. One question I got was when was this published and it didn't even have a year or anything even close to a date.

As a student, I do not like this app. I know students whose mental health has worsened while working on Savvas assignments. The way it is worded is so confusing. A lot of the problems are awfully worded and I suggest having an English major review the problems first before making them into assignments. No, I am not trying to be sarcastic or rude. I think that a lot of these problems are very poorly worded and need to be reviewed before submitting. I have failed assignments for that reason. It also goes from easy problems to hard problems, and most of the time it is things you have not even taught in your class. If you see this, please revise. Thank you for your time and if you are a teacher reading this, please have your students use anything BUT this app. Also, the date of experience is not relevant. This is over the course of many days I have used this app for homework and tests.

Hello my name is Wing Wong.My last name is itreuvrhb.Every time my child goes on Savvas Realize all of the questions are not on her topic. Also this app is really bad because 1: It has videos but they don't even help at all and it just makes my child way worser and she starts to not understand it. 2: The new update has been every bad because it is harder for my child and now it explains even worse! My child can not understand the explanation because it is even worse cause it starts saying really bad explanations! 3: The app sometimes just submits by itself and my childs teacher starts calling me and saying she has not been doing her work! 4:The app gives really information and the things that she gets wrong it makes her restart the whole thing! I am very upset about this app and suggest to remove it.

Alright. I'm a 5th grader using this stupid program. It is very... Garbage-y. The lessons on the website are irrelevant to our lesson, and the questions are extremely confusing, tedious, and unclear. Somehow, I have suffered for 4 grades with this company. It takes at least a minute to load. The UI is ugly, and inefficient. The website's stupid "Tools" just reword the question or give you another question. We have to be very specific, such as instead of 7.5, we have to do 7.50. The thing that checks your answers only gives you 2 tries, and does not specify where you messed up. Instead, it simply gives a discouraging "Incorrect." Unbelievable.

I remember using this website back in 5th grade. My classmates and I spent a lot of time in class using this website. It gave me time to realize what this website was really about. It's not just about "learning," it's about torturing every user, and watching them fail miserably. Don't waste your money on this product. Get Khan Academy or StudySync instead of this garbage.

If I could do a 0 star review, I would. This company is terrible. It has to low of a curriculum and it is terrible. In all of my life, I've never seen a worse math reviewer than Success maker. More like failmaker. So all in all NEVER use success maker I'm a good person and I don't like the math business.

For virtual lab make it move it won't let me in same thing happens when I try to go in virtual lab
Use force to chart a safe course. It just won't work! Overall review one star it sucks alot

I was working on a test online with savvas and i missed 1 question and the it dropped me down to a c i think it is torture for kids. I pray my kids dont have to go what im going through

Savvas is very boring! It makes people not want to do it. I think they should either make it more fun or take it away altogether! > :(

The website is slow, even with a good computer or internet, the second guess is always wrong, even when correct, and allows people to retake a question without the knowledge of the organizer. It is just strait up horrible. 0/5 if possible

This is coming from a student btw, but the math questions that are made by the company also frequently have mistakes, and the image editing (like during projects) is actual GARBAGE. It's extremely slow and laggy, you can't copy and paste the text, it's also extreme hard to CLICK on the text, and it takes a really long time to load for no reason?

Bro. I mean, come on. The e-book takes up to one hour to load. The whole site feels like it's going to crash any second. My e-book is loading while I am writing this. Mind you, refreshing the page makes it start all over again, so don't bother to try.

Most of the time I am stuck on s loading screen for about 30s-1m every time I click on somthing this makes it really hard to get my work done half of the time I always get homework because it is just to annoying to use and makes no sense. Sometimes when I press finsh it still says in progress and I can't turn it in. My progress also has not saved before.

Terrible Scoring System. THIS is WHY STUDENTS LIKE ME DONT LIKE MATH.
IT'S VERY SUCKY AND SLOW USES OUTDATED STUFF AND WHO SAID TO MAKE THIS. THE UI MAKES THIS WORSE AS I FREAKING CLICKED SUBMIT BY MISTAKE WHEN I DIDNT FINSH THE WORK. TERRIBLE MATH WEBSITE

Its just bad. Nothing about it is intuitive, the reading is limited, annotation tools suck and the curriculum is bad. As a student, it makes me mad seeing school districts wasting needed cash on useless programs like this when a book would suffice. Worst part is, THEY GIVE US A BOOK WITH EVERYTHING IN IT...
And dont let us use it...

I doesen't even let me see the correct answer one time it even malfunctioned which everbody in my class got an F but we reviewed it then we got a better grade everybody hates it so much

Savvas sucks we all know that, It looks like I made it. It is so outdated that I saw info about MP3 PLAYERS in our Savvas books. ( digital versions of the books are also available on the website) The first MP3 player was created in 1998, in my opinion, the iPhone (which was released in 2007) is when MP3 players died, let's assume that the year that I saw it (2023) was the year they removed it still would have taken them SIXTEEN YEARS to get rid of it. But they probably haven't, and if they still have extremely outdated information, It is not a stretch to assume that most of the other information is outdated.
