Unfortunately, I saw the following 1 year-old comments after I had already lost thousands on Sakuradate over the past 3 months. I can personally confirm that all of the comments are correct because I have experienced the same problems.
This site is definitely a SCAM. I have paid almost $3,000.00 on this site with nothing to show for. This is the process so that you will know what signs to look for if you choose to waste your money like I did but hopefully, I have done all the work so that you will not incur such cost.
1. You meet someone(s)
2. You start a conversation and begin to interact with the female, (of course I'm speaking from a males perspective).

4. Upon spending approximately $1000 to $1,500 it will cost you another $500 to request her personal contact information.
5. Before requesting her contact information you will have to spend approximately 15 days minimum to get to know her (Sakura Date requirement) as well as a set dollar amount as previously mentioned.
6. During the communication with the female, she will bombard you with letters, videos, and photos that will cost you credits ranging from 10 to 50 which you will have to purchase.
7. The female will continue to do this and once you reach the credit amount to request her contact information it will cost you 500 credits which goes to Sakura Date.
8. At this point she will give them permission to give you her contact information.
9. At this point, she will permit them to give you her contact information.
10. NOW THIS IS THE CRITICAL PART, once you have their contact information,

After receiving her contact information the photos, letters, pictures, and even level of communication start to decline or they will stop responding to your emails or you will start receiving messages such as my job/work is keeping me busy, I have a sickness or death in the family, my internet/phone is acting up, my phone stop working and I need to purchase another one, I don't like that you don't trust me, and so on. These are common excuses to avoid messaging you, RED FALGES.
Conclusion: Once a certain dollar amount has been spent on any particular lady there is some form or level of benefit or compensation for that lady, but to what extent I do not know. But the true intention here is to SCAM men out of their money. As previously mentioned based on the amount that I spent, I obviously communicated with more than one woman with the same or similar results. Their goal is to keep you (the man) buying and spending credit on letters, photos, and videos, so they will engage you in conversation attempting to drive you to their letters and push you to watch their videos and not just you but more or multiple other men at the same time. If there are real women on the site with good intentions the majority of bad women will corrupt the site, and that's if the site isn't already corrupted which I believe it is because they are the ones offering the incentives to the females for keeping the men cashing out by purchasing more and more credits.
So in my opinion and experience, this site is a SCAM, don't waste your time or money.

I have purchased many credits. I have been in contact with 3 gorgeous girls.
At 33, I am looking for 20-26. These girls are 21, 24, 25, perfect. However, I get bombarded with women my parents age(57,) and even older. I am very seriously thinking of never going back to Sekuradate: bc I still need to spend $998 for the necessary 5500 credits! Our dating sites, when you message a girl, there is zero guarantee she will respond back. Over here: the girls are clearly not nearly as attractive as this above site.Exceptions prove the rule, here. When I messaged a girl here: she is most definitely extremely lovely. With guys it's always appearance first. If you guys have a really good income, then maybe you can spend $1500-$3000, on these girls, then ok. If you are struggling with this economy ( Philadelphia, Detroit, and Cleveland- where I am, the largest poor cities in America, then this site is not for you! Don't waste your money. Find a girl here! I have read stories, where once you have spent the above amounts, the girls become distant: death in family, phone is broke, work is occupying my time, whatever. It's a total scam all fake people my guess is paid actors to just con you out of money they all pretend to be really interested to get you to spend money for everything at every turn and it's not cheap. I saw ai generated voice messages. Peoples pictures that clearly are not the same person and more than one stay clear

I confirm all negative experiences written below. The girls I was chatting are either fake or site affiliates getting provision from credits you pay. Chat communication is driven either by AI bots, some nasty boys in a scam center or some poor women hired by mafia. "Girl" I was chatting pretended to be so excited and full of love but also doing everything to dodge giving some real personal info. Even when she was allegedly from China I found out she does not understand a word in chinese. She does not even know what is mandarin chinese. She even did not know whatsapp and fb are not working in China. There were tens of attempts to send her my phone number in some riddles or ways that could not be filtered by censor. But it seemed she does not try and playing dumb. For example I told her the business website, she could easily find my email etc. And of course "she" lured me to send her some naked photos. It was probably desperate attempt when I told her about my doubts about "her" honesty. This is really very bad site for dating, dont fall into this trap unless you want to spend hundreds of bucks for fake romance illusion

Sakura Dating is a scam. They are making money by selling credits to chat with ladies with no real connection by cell phone or email or any other

You cannot make arrangements to actually meet a woman. The site says that after you spend a lot of money you can request the womans contact information. You can and they give you an email address but it is not the woman's email it is aSakuraDate proided email and the women don't respond to your email but they will continue to write to you on the site so you stillpay to write to them. I had one woman respond with an email and she said She needed me to go back to writing the letters. I asked was it because she wanted the money the site pays her and she said yes.

I echo many other reviews on here in terms of its costing structure, authenticity of the profiles and the girls' motivation.

Costing: it's not clear that you have to chat to a girl for 15 days and a thousands of credits before you can submit a contract request that costs a further 500 credits! Even then it's only a request so they can just disappear!

Although English may not be their first language, my 'girl' could not grasp my various red flags - there is a lot of encouragement to buy credits: read and send pointless letters, little videos with no content… I 110% believe they are on commission if they are real therefore motivation is not to actually hook up with you.

This is a team of bottom dwellers thriving on trusting customers. You will part with a ton of money if you involve yourself here. Teams, men and women work in shifts, common hustlers playing you, making a good living working you. You'll be wise to take my advice and just stay away. So many red flags.

I have spent well over 7000 credits and spoke with one woman since 12/23 and says I need to talk for another 8 days before we can communicate away from this site and the worse part of this is that the woman im speaking with lives just 30 minutes from my home and we were hoping that we could get together for New Years eve but miss alise with support first said I need to spend 5000 credits then I could talk with her on email and now its only after the 15 days then I must pay an additional 500 credits for them to ask her permission and she too has asked support and alise says no almost like support feels good about keeping us apart. 10,130 credits
