Truly black
I bought 2 necklaces and as others have noted the color on the two necklaces is different. The color of each is consistent. This one is solid black on each pearl. The other one has a purple shine and I wanted to wear them together but they look so different when put together. Each is pretty just not together so I gave 4 stars.
Peerfect for everyday
The color has nice variations, the length is perfect! The only thing I don't like is the clasp. It's difficult to close or open which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Pearls do not have bluish tinge
I ordered these pearls because, although they are called "black pearls," the photo definitely shows them with a bluish tinge, and at least one review mentioned this color. But I received pearls that were simply black, and I returned them. The description of the pearls should make it clearer that the color varies.
Looks expensive, price is cheap
Color is a bluish charcoal. Length is a little longer, good for sweaters.

Black pearls
Reasonably priced, not as dark as i expected
Very pleased!
The pearls that I received are very nice and exceeded my expectation. There are few blemishes which are not too noticeable unless I study them 6 inches or closer. Depending on the light, they reflect small hints of blue, green, and copper. I buffed them carefully with a leather nail chamois and can actually see my reflection.
