I had my eye on this ring when I first saw it. It's delicate yet classy. It looks just like the picture.
It didn't hold up well at all
I absolutely loved this ring when I got it. It's the perfect red-orange color a garnet should be, and Garnet, gold, and red enamel are the perfect combination. If I'd left a review when I received it, I would have given it 5 stars, easily. Unfortunately, even though I only wear it on occasion and remove it for hand washing/showering, almost all of the 18kt gold over the sterling wore off in less than 4 months. I'm very disappointed because now it's two-toned and looks cheap, and I'm embarrassed to wear it. I'm stuck with a ring I can't wear. Don't waste your money on a piece with gold over sterling. I wish I'd picked a stone that looks good with white metal.

Not what I expected...
Beautiful -- but not what I expected. Not the deep, rich red I expected. My stone is more brown. Disappointing. I am well aware of all the different types of garnets and all the different shades, but this one is not as depicted in the on-line pictures. Bummer for me.
