The post for attaching and the closing slot are very fragile. I'm not sure how long they will last before it breaks off.

These earrings are beautiful. Just the right size and the pearls are gorgeous. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a little difficult to open and close because the gold is thin on the post that clips in the back.
