I had a smaller magnet clasp, but it separated and I lost my favorite garnet and gold chain. So, I needed to upgrade to a larger magnet. Hope this one does not lose my gems...

They work just fine, but after paying around $130 for each one (a gold and a silver), I found ones that are just as good... 8 for around $8 on Amazon...really! I felt royally ripped off by Ross Simons. You asked for my review!

It's perfect. Just what I was looking for. Fits my necklace perfectly. Small and lightweight just like the necklace I put it on.
Not a strong magnet
While I like having a magnetic clasp for my necklace, the magnet is not as strong as the silver one i bought. A few times I found my necklace had opened and fell from my neck. Luckily I found it each time.
Great for arthritic fingers
My fingers aren't as useful when I try and clasp my necklace's. This clasp is the perfect solution and I have purchased quite a few of them.
