My granddaughter loved this locket!
I bought this locket inscribed with her initial for my granddaughter's high-school graduation. She loved it. The quality is fine, and it is a lovely purchase to give or keep.

I love this locket and I'm going to give it to my granddaughter for her birthday. I will put a pix of me and a small lock of my hair.
Defective chain
Chain was not soldered to clasp, so it fell apart immediately. The company repaired the chain immediately upon return because the plastic sleeve had been opened ant the clasp ends were hanging out, as if it had been opened just enough to pull the ends out to be soldered. So it looks like the manufacturer doesn't solder any of its clasps on itsits chains._x000D__x000D_
But the delay meant the gift could not be presented on the occasion it is meant to celebrate._x000D__x000D_
Even though I returned the chain only, the company insisted on replacing the locket as well, which I had had engraved with initials. The company refused to pull the order to replace the locket. It also refused to send the replacement without engraving with initials for the original order._x000D__x000D_
So now I have two lockets, both personalized identically, when I could have had a personalized one to give and one not personalized as a gift for someone else, or a personalized one to give the original intended recipient and personalized one for myself. Crazy._x000D__x000D_
The floral design on the first locket is as shown. The replacement is different, but more attractive. So I will give the replacement as the gift and keep the first one for myself and only wear it showing the floral design not the initials._x000D__x000D_
My impression is the set is vastly overpriced or the company would have repaired the defective chain, not repaired the chain AND replaced the locket. My impression is the manufacturer routinely delivers defective chains.

Beautiful locket
I got this quickly. The scrollwork on the front is beautiful. Chain is nice, also. Am saving this for my husband to give it to me on my birthday in September. I will be so excited and super pleased with such a gorgeous necklace!
Marvelous detail in workmanship
I could not be happier with this locket. The detail is fantastic. I had the locket engraved and I am glad that I did, as doing so will make it an heirloom. I used the locket to store a picture of both of my babies (dogs). I had been thinking about doing this for awhile. My first place to look for a locket was Ross Simons. I was not disappointed. The sliding adjustable chain is very nice and sturdy enough to support the weight of the locket without worry. Thanks Ross Simons!

Nice locket but...
Chain broke at clasp 2 weeks after wearing locket. Locket and chain were nice but obviously chain is flawed.

Disappointed
I bought this as a gift. The picture made the locket design look like it had elevation. I was disappointed it did not and the design was only visible from certain angles. Disappointed.

Purchased for my daughter for Christmas. She specifically asked for a large silver locket. Had her initials engraved on the plain side and she can wear it on either side. Chain is longer and she absolutely loves it!

Silver floral locket
I purchased this and recieved it, very nicely packaged. After wearing once the chain broke, I went and purchased a chain at a local jewelry store, happy with the locket but not the chain, ended up costing me more, and did not want to spend more on shipping the chain back
