I was immediately attracted to these earrings by their very minimalist combination of metal and mollusk.
The choice was difficult because I had the options of white, gray, and black for the pearls. I chose the classic white but will reserve the gray and black as future gifts for the woman I love.
The fine yellow gold double hoops cuddle the pearls in an almost impossible embrace. If a combination of gold and pearl could ever be called subtle this would be it, a work of fine craftsmanship that marries a universally precious metal with the product of an irritated bivalve mollusk. This is poetry in jewelry, and offered at a price one need not ponder long.
