Very disappointed with this purchase. I have been a customer of Ross Simons for many years and have always been pleasantly surprised how beautiful their jewelry is. This time, I could get the necklace around my neck, as I received a 16 inch instead of the 18 inch I ordered.

My necklace staple
I layer my necklaces and always love this with some simpler gold chains! When I unfortunately got it very tangled recently, customer service helped me when i sent it back. There customer service is 5 star!

Necklace was alittle short, not quite 16 inches. Had to buy an extender.
Pretty mix of gold & pearls
This is a well made, pretty, simple necklace. It matchs most all my choice of dress. The clasp is very small, tiny. I had to find a person with very small hands to open it, put it around my neck, and close.

You Get What You Pay For
This necklace is pretty, but you get what you pay for. I thought that RS was a fine jewelry store, better quality than the chain jewelry stores, and that had higher quality jewelry than one buys at a department store. Unfortunately, I feel that this necklace is department store quality at a higher price. The pearls are pretty, almost round, although I'm sure they are not high quality. The gold part of the necklace is extremely thin, looks and feels fragile, as though it will break if it snags even gently on something. The clasp and the hoop to connect the necklace are so small it's challenging to clasp. I would expect higher quality of fine jewelry. As many other reviewers noted (wish I had read those reviews first) the necklace arrived in a plastic bag, twisted on itself and in a small square box. This is not how a pearl necklace should be stored, particularly one that is fragile and easily knots. I contacted customer service three different ways (chat, phone, and email) to request a more appropriate necklace box. I finally was sent a huge box, but at least it was more appropriate for the necklace. Ultimately, it's a pretty necklace of mediocre quality. I could probably get an equivalent once cheaper during a sale at a department store. RS should really listen to the reviews and make a slightly thicker/stronger chain, a larger easier to use clasp, and start packaging the necklace in a necklace box that minimizes tangling.
