Pristine Auction Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices, high shipping fees, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report feeling scammed due to unexpected charges and poor quality of auction items, leading to frustrations over returns and unauthorized transactions. Conversely, some loyal customers appreciate the variety of unique items available and have had positive experiences with specific purchases. However, the prevailing sentiment indicates a decline in service quality, with a notable gap between past and present customer support, suggesting an urgent need for improvement in communication and transparency.

I would NOT recommend that you use Pristine Auction - you will only be disappointed. Have now spent a small fortune with these people and they can't even reply to a simple email about a FAKE item they sent to me. Sent numerous messages and still nothing! Have i been scammed - yes i think so! Had all these issues so i guess i should have noticed the "RED FLAG" sooner: 1. I paid over $1000 for a signed NFL ball only for it to have a hole in it and it wouldn't stay inflated 2. Paid for a NFL jersey only for it to then have copyright issues that was not mentioned when i bought this 3. Paid almost $500 for a signed "Joe Montana" NFL helmet only to be sent one signed by someone completely different and NOT Joe Montana For Pristine to now ignore all my messages is shocking and again I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND you use these COWBOYS! Stay well away from Pristine, i would recommend that you shop elsewhere! "Apparently" this is Joe Montana's signature You only have to google it to realize this is nothing short of being a scam! I do NOT accept your poor EXCUSES It is now Thursday and I am still awaiting the prepaid label - Your FAKE helmet is still sitting on my desk! I first emailed about this 5 days ago now so NO EXCUSES! For your information as you know, The FAKE Diggs jersey is still in your possession. I tried to resell this jersey that was PURCHASED FROM YOU but was told it was FAKE and unauthenticated... LOL The jersey was first purchased from you so why the hell did you sell this to me in the first instance? I also had problems with the Derek Carr FAKE jersey that was also purchased from you! Spent over $51,000.00 on merchandise from you and am now left wondering if any of the items i purchased are real, everything seems to be FAKE KEEP CLEAR EVERYONE - Do NOT use Pristine Auction EVER!

Tom Brady mini helmet
March 10, 2025

I paid top dollar for a Tom Brady autograph. They sent a poor autograph and refused to replace with better autograph. Stock photos don't accurately depict what you will get and Pristine auction will take the money and run! The pin stroke on the letter'B' isn't one smooth continuous stroke as in most Brady autographs. Additionally the pin stroke is not solid but looks as if a brush was used. I don't grade autographs but you don't have to be a expert to recognize this is at best a 5 out of 10.

So, I have won a number of auctions. I was happy eough with the quality of the items however I find the handling cost a bit expensive. At one point they were showing the shipping cost but not the handling. Now no mention of shipping cost.
When I questioned the handling cost they have made it impossible for me to get back on.
I asked for help and they keep giving me the same things to try but they don't work. Even after telling them 7 times the same thing. I have tried their suggestions about 8 times now.
I have used 3 different email addresses to register. I am in on the initial register but if I try to enter the next day the same thing happens. I get a message that unusual log in attempts have happened and I need a code from my email.
I get the code and (although it states it works for 10 minutes) I put it in within 40 seconds and it tells me it has expired.
I can only think they have some how flagged my IP address and blocked me from getting in.
Ironically, when i got in with my register of my last email I WON AN AUCTION.
However since I can't get in I can't pay for it. MUCH TOO frustrating to deal with anymore.
I have been trying for 2 months,

These people are horrible. Charged me $109 to ship 8 one pack card mystery packs. Refused to respond to emails, or reduce the charges. They are well known for profiting by over charging people for shipping. I had to file a complaint with the BBB. Do not buy from these people! You will get robbed.

They are scammers and thieves. Bought 2 framed jersey for 621$ not only they were bumping the bids with their bots but also had to payed 120$ extra that they call buyers premium fess. Shipping was over 350$ only because they cant ship them at the same time so i had to pay twice the shipping fees. On top of that UPS calls me to tell me i have to pay international shipping fees because i live in Canada. No where was mention i have to pay these fees. At the end i payed over 1400 for two framed jersey that I won for a total of 621$. SCAMMERS AND THIEVES

They do not fulfill their orders. I ordered a boxing mystery box that was to contain 3 items. I received email notification that my item was delivered. I was away for a couple of days dealing with medical issues. Two days later I receive an email stating that my item was returned to sender ( which was not initiated by me). Now they are telling me that all they can do is give me a credit or refund. I want neither. I want the item I ordered. If they can't find a way to overcome even the smallest issues with anything but a refund/credit, then despite what their site states, they are unable to deliver what they are selling. Seems like they just hold the onto your money until you get tired of dealing with it (I wonder what the float is on the revenue from all their unfulfilled orders...?) This situation is awful, is entirely driven by them and leaves the purchaser with no recourse except to frustratingly eventually accept a credit/refund. I have put a lot of time into trying to get this resolved. I believe that time has value. $600.00 of value. So I am requesting that my accountant send Pristine Auctions a 1099nec for the value of the item and my time.

The invoice to which you also went to BBB shows as delivered to the shipping address on 2/6 and not returned to us. All of your packages show as delivered, the one you did have returned invoice 3339762 that was originally returned was already reshipped, and delivery as of 1/23/24. At this time we have none of your items that have been returned to us. Thank you

1 good order, 1 bad.
February 16, 2024

I have used this stie 2x. The first the item shipped no issue, quality was a bit sub par, but it is what it is. 2nd item i received a USPS pre-shippment email. After 2 weeks I reached out to Pristine who said to give it another week. After 3 weeks I asked for a refund and was granted one with what looks like minus $50 or so. I was told this was a courtesy since their policy is to not refund on items lost in shipping. The claim being that USPS picked the item up, but never scanned it and someone stole it. In the real world without USPS acknowledging acceptance of the package, it is not lost of stolen, it never left their building yet they kept part of my payment.

I will not do business with them in the future.

More Low Value Cards...
February 15, 2024

There is a lot of hype from this company that you will be getting good cards from their mystery auctions and memorabilia that they promote. What I've experienced are low end PSA 10 cards that value in the $20 range and aren't cards people are wanting. $200 spent on one auction for a base Tua RC...garbage. You're better off saving for the cards you want and purchase on Ebay or other card shops.

I was a loyal customer of Pristine Auction since 2019. Customer service was great back then, but I can't say the same now. I had taken a break from collecting for about 9 months to a year and I logged back on found that somehow I had been charged with a restocking fee for bid I had won and never paid for. Funny thing is, I DID NOT BID IT! I was not going to pay for something I did not want or bid on and I'm definitely not paying a restocking fee. I emailed them 3 TIMES before I ever got an answer, in short, they told me tough $#*!, we are not waiving the fee, and then ran my debit card without authorization. In my mind, I'm still working on a resolution with these people and they just run my card. So, they strung me along with emails saying "we are working on your issue, thank you for your patience", then on the 7th day, they send an email saying No, can't help you, btw, we just ran your card for the whole amount! That was a TACTIC, NOT customer service! There's a difference!

Avoid This Site
December 28, 2023

I mistakenly bid over $200 for a reprint. I immediately notified Pristine of the error, but they refused to rectify the error. Poor customer service, considering I've bid many times in the past with them - never again. Any sports card or memorabilia auctioneer that is friendly to the hobby would have remedied the obvious error. In fact, about a year ago, I made a similar error on another auction site, which had no problem removing the bid.
