Actually legit. Love signing in and seeing goodies to claim and have shipped and they really show up!
PinchMe has not followed thru with even 5% of what they offer. In 4 years I have received a tiny package of Haribo gummy bears & a single packet of a mayonnaise sample to review. I have done tons of surveys & questionnaires. I've gotten a prepaid Visa card & had direct deposit set up on it & still have not received even one gift card of any amount. I'll keep devouring my time to Inbox Dollars cuz I've gotten numerous gift cards from them. Good Bye PinchMe
They have a D with the better business someone NEEDS TO START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM OR JUST ANY LAWSUIT for that matter! You will never get your free sample or anything and the tell you flat out if you pay with a prepaid gift card you dont qualify
Since June 17th 2022 when I signed up I've had nothing but telemarketers harassing me from daylight to dark they said they were going to stand samples for the participation of allowing the telemarketer people to continue to call and I assigned up for a credit card company for a Karma thing and they said they were going to send a $10 Walmart card which they never did they've never sent the first item all they've done is continue to harass me and businesses harass me they are Liars have tried to email the never answer nothing back it is all a big scam I've not the received one thing another has my family members has been dealing with these people
I was supposed to get a $10 Starbucks gift card and a Hello Fresh food subscription box but it is 6 weeks and it hasn't even been shipped. One of the items required my phone number and I now receive up to a dozen spam calls a day.
I tried this for a while and after you jump through dozens of hoops, most requiring you to accept offers from other companies (insurance quotes, retirement plans, health insurance etc) you will get your "prize." So far I have gotten a "skincare" box about 6 weeks after I fulfilled the requirements. It included a foil packet of handcream, a sample packet of eye cream, a mini lip balm and a packet of makeup remover pad. Most of the items never came.
What I DID get was auto/life/health insurance companies blowing up my cell phone (even though I put in my landline which doesn't have a phone attached to it but the caller hears ringing) some as early as 7:01 & as late as 10PM, floods of emails (with the fake middle initial to help me track if my info was sold -- IT WAS) and text messages from early morning to late night.
I have been trying for over a month to end my "membership" with a company whose sole purpose seems to be selling your info to others & giving you a stale piece of lint covered gum they pulled out of their granny's purse as a reward.
Below is my most recent attempts to make it stop. As usual there is no response from them but I have received 4 texts from them while I was writing this.
Thanks for the free sample from Glad. Love the new Peppermint and Eucalyptus scent. These are the strongest trash bags anywhere
I haven't been with with PINCHme me long but I really do like it since I been with them I always receive a lot of stuff to do from them I got got sample today first time May 5.2022 and I would most definitely recommend it to family friends!
This is on their new terms amd agreement this is the fine print so plz read b4 signing up for this. It's not worth it
So, I signed up to pinch me and suddenly I've a BUNCH of scammers texting me about various obvious scams. I'm over here taking deep breaths and it says I've got a box and my 'bonus items' coming. Nope!
Just an envelope with a thing to scan. Nothing in the envelope. It's not even sealed. It's like someone did this just to say they sent it.
So they got our info and sold it to scammers and the samples didn't arrive.
So happy to be able try these samples. So happy to be a #happy pincher. Great service and great producs.
Terrible! They make you take a survey to get your data, but not to send you samples that suits you. The first and only sample posted for me is nail decals for kids with unicorns and rainbows. I tried to add for test the system, but the order didn't go through after I confirmed my address. My email is bombarded with all kinds of emails from them with "free samples". I click on the link and there is nothing, only the nail stickers!
I loved this chocolate wafer so much. It tasted great compared to other chocolate wafers. Thank you so much.
This is an amazing app. A friend introduced me an I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to tell my friends about it.
PINCHme is advertised to the public as a service that connects consumers with brands which are willing to provide free product samples in exchange for honest reviews. Their advertising says: "No catch, no credit card!" They post logos of the major brands they partner with on their website and go to very great lengths to create the impression that consumers who sign up with PINCHme will have the opportunity to browse hundreds of products from trusted brands and select the ones they want to try in exchange for their honest feedback.
This is NOT opportunistic on the part of the consumer. It's very much a transaction, and high quality reviews profit the partnering brands considerably, in a number of ways. Social proof (ie honest product reviews) are a powerful tool for influencing the everyday purchasing decisions of modern consumers, especially if they are shopping online where they cannot physically see, touch, smell, or otherwise interact with products before buying them.
So really, PINCHme is offering a win-win situation for everyone involved. That's how they draw you in. That's how they get you to surrender your personal information to them (seriously, use a throwaway email address, customize your permissions, refuse to subscribe to third-party affiliates who will pester you into oblivion, and remember that your personal data has SIGNIFICANT value, it is YOURS, it is worth MUCH MORE than a deodorant stick or a bottle of contact solution, and these vultures hope you don't know that).
Here's the catch PINCHme explicitly promises you won't have to deal with: They will not provide you with free samples. They will offer free samples, gift cards, etc., but when you go to claim these items, they will barricade them off behind an additional requirement: sign up for a month of service from one of their affiliates (if you sign up and immediately cancel your membership, you don't get anything -- you have to let them charge you). Sometimes there are "free tasks" you can complete, like checking your credit score with Credit Sesame, but of course those take your personal information, including your social security number, so they aren't really free. Plus, all PINCHme's partners will add you to their effing email list, and if you unsubscribe, they will email you from one of their many, many other domains. Forever. Which is why I would advise using a throwaway.
Even if you complete a "free offer" as instructed, many people still do not receive the item they were trying to get. The page simply "thinks" until it times you out. Unless you were expecting this to happen, there's no way to protect yourself from it. It is a scam, and when it happens to you, there is no way to talk to anyone about it or have the problem resolved. They simply ignore/block you. You get nothing.
Don't waste your time.
#pinchme review holy s#*×! I actually got something from pinch me! Pinch me PLEASE! I've thought for the longest time I wouldn't get anything from this site! I felt like I was jumping through the highest and smallest hoops to even be able to get through to even qualify for anything! Am I still dreaming? I understand some ppl will always get their free stuff and that's it. I say put the instructions in when you send out the freebee and more often than not ppl will leave their feedback vs. if you just send stuff out. Whatever! I am an honest person. Send out a free sample to me, with instructions, and I'll give you my most honest opinion. And if there's a few, I'll definitely spread them around and get their opinions and fill that in where the blank is for that too.
If the page times out come back the next day. We will save your bonus item. Out of 30 or more tries I've only gotten 3 bonus items.
I've emailed them several times for them to send me my bonus items but they never write back. Wonder if they even receive some of these so called "bonus items". I bet they don't. I bet they just get paid to advertise them. Or maybe theses companies don't realize that PINCHME isn't mailing them out to us after we complete these surveys. Who knows what's going on. I done with PINCHME. It's a big headache and a waste of time.
So I downloaded the FREE STUFF app onto my phone and I love this app.
I've been a member of Pinch for a few years. At first it was a very nice site with stuffed sample boxes showing up monthly. Now it's gotten so big that customer service stinks and the samples that do come are pathetic. Surveys for points on their site also often malfunction and it's tough to earn enough to gain any rewards. They have all of these so-called bonus items but you have to sign up for all sorts of junk and it's tough to unsubscribe from anything. Pinch has really deteriorated and I spend little time on the site now. I suggest staying away from signing up for anything. You'll get spammed to death.
Answer: I recently signed up on PINCHme and so far I'm happy. I had to answer a few questions (what products I like) but it took less than 10 minutes. I get some emails from them, like one every few days. I just delete them. I haven't got any from third parties. Today they released some of their free samples (they supposedly do every two weeks) and I got to order 4.
Answer: It takes a LONG time--over 6 months for some things and then when you get the items, you will be sorely disappointed to have everything tossed loosely in a box. Pinchme is no longer worth it, imo
Answer: Yes, you're fortunate that you can't sign up. They have scammed a lot of people out of everything they put into this site. Forget about it.
Answer: You;re right. They are not a legitimate sample site anymore, nor are they keeping their word. Read all the bad reviews and you'll understand.
Answer: They email the gift cards to the email address you gave them when you signed up with them. It can take up to three weeks to receive them. If it's longer than that just email them and the agents will correct it.
