I would like to acknowledge some great service I received from this store in Black Mountain, NC. I stopped here to get a new bulb for my headlight and received top notch service from a young woman named Alyssa. She was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about their products. She even installed the new bulb in very cold temperatures! I appreciated the service and want her and her manager to know she is top notch! Thank you, Alyssa and O'Reilly's!
I work at an O'Reillys and it's terrible, I just got my second strike because a card reader malfunctioned and the customer walked away with the product and I got in trouble with it, it's stupid
Went to our local O'Reilly's to ask about replacing a headlight, which on the website it states: Wiper Blade & Bulb Installation - Free
Our Parts Professionals will install wiper blades and replacement bulbs free of charge (with purchase of wiper blades or bulbs). Whether you've bought front or rear wipers (or both), headlights or tail lights, we'd be happy to install them for you.
They refused. Will not go back there again.
Ordered a new alternator for Pontiac G-6 from Colby Kansas O'Reilly's. I installed the alternator a new belt and started the car. In about 10 minutes the car died. I replaced the battery and the same thing happened. I had to get the car to the shop the next day for a transmission solenoid replacement and was panicking because I had been waiting a while to get it into the shop. The next day, I took the alternator back to O'Reilly's for spin test. The alternator was no good. We had opened the box at O'Rielly's and put my core in the box. The box appeared to have been opened and there was no cardboard protective roll on the pulley. The instructions were oil soaked and nearly illegible. I ended up taking a rebuilt one and installed it. This one worked. The big problem was that the car repair company put me at the back of the line again. We had to wait 2 1/2 weeks before we could get the car back into the shop and complete the repair. ALWAYS make them spin the alternator before you take it out of the store. I lost a whole nights sleep and had to drive 35 miles back to Colby to get the replacement alternator. I should have ordered a new one from S & W supply of Colby. In the long run, it would have been cheaper.
Our battery died in the parking lot of a store about ten minutes from the O'rielly Auto Parts store in Mt Pleasant. I called to ask if there was any way they could help us. Leo came to us and tried to jump us off and couldn't get it to start. He went back to the store, got us a battery and returned to put it in for us. They also checked the alternator for us. They didn't have to do any of this. The Christmas spirit is definitely alive at O'reilly's in Mt Pleasant. A huge thank you to all of them for their kindness to us in our time of need!
I recently was in the Harrisonburg, VA store for a headlight that had been out for months! I was on my way home from work and was having a horrible time seeing to drive in the dark without the headlight. I went to O'Reilly's just to see if they could help me, after another store had told me they couldn't. Don who was an Assisted Manager at the Harrisonburg location went above and beyond anything I could have ever asked for! Not only did he change the headlights for me, once he put the headlights in the one that was out was still not working! He then proceeded to do anything he could think of to fix it. He finally fixed the headlight and I can now drive safely to and from work! THANK YOU SO MUCH DON!
I recently made a purchase at the Clinton la store (5278). The young man who assisted me was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He attributed his training to a manager who opened that location (Michelle McGehee). Ms. McGehee is currently managing the baker la store (625). I would like to commend Ms. McGehee and her staff for their professionalism. Job well done!
Great for different manufacturers and prices I like how you have options and if they don't have your part they will have it usually by the next day
Prices are a bit higher than other sites I have seen. Not sure if they do price matching in store. Would be nice if they did since I live down the street from one.
I would not recommend buying anything from O'Reilly's Online Store (I'm OK with the local stores). The online shopping experience with O'Reilly is totally a disaster and nightmare.
I ordered a Jeep Hitch but they shipped me a pump instead. I called back and told them I can ship the pump back or drop it at their local store and asked them to ship me a hitch. However, their customer service was quite impatient and told me that they will never ship my hitch to me unless they found the missing one.
I argued that it was not my fault shipping the hitch to a wrong place. Moreover, it's not my responsibility to wait for an unknown period of time because of their fault.
However, the customer service kept saying that I have to wait till they found "MY" hitch. Their logic is quite stupid because: before I receive hitch, it's not mine. All duty is lay upon the O'Reilly store or the carrier.
I asked the store the ship me another hitch or give me an estimation on when they can find "MY" missing hitch but they told me, impatiently, they won't ship me anything and, there is no maximum waiting time before they can find "MY" hitch.
Now I required for a refund and will buy the hitch from their competitor.
I do online shopping for over 15 years. O'Reily Online Store is the worst one I ever met. If you want to buy something from them, you'd better stop.
Best to transact with, coupled with integrity. There are many out there without credible products. But this one can be relied upon for a go.
One star is too high for your terrible customer service. I was stranded and a king person gave me a jump. I drove to O'Reilly in Roosevelt to get a new battery. They had one but would not put in in. I was the only customer in the store. What? I am s 67 year old Grandma with no mechanical experience. Luckily I had left my car running so I could drive to your competitor for 5 Star customer service.
I have been restoring cars and trucks 35 years walked into orilleys in fountain hills tonight talked with the manager about ordering me a 302 motor with an automatic transmission for a 1976 Ford truck I'm restoring for a customer she was rude unprofessional so I walked on out called from my truck contacted AutoZone in Scottsdale the commercial rep at that location was polite helpful and a real pro it's a shame orilleys has really went down hill.
While working on a car, we needed a part, so ordered it for pick up. We didn't receive it's ready email, so I decided to go in to pick it up and if anything, it could be pulled from the shelf. When I got there, there were two gentlemen working at the desk and no customers. Leroy was apparently new or had a cognitive disability and couldn't find the part in the back. After looking unsuccessfully for about ten minutes he decided to go get it from the front of the store. That was also difficult for him. Eventually, he found it. His manager, Tyler, showed him how to ring it up and asked for my ID. I didn't have an ID, but I had the email of the paid receipt for this $8 part. HE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME! I get it, they need to know it is paid for and getting picked up by the right person, but it was an $8 part and I had the receipt. I had to go home and return with my license to pick up. He didn't even ask for proof it was paid for. A little common sense would have been great. Tyler is not a customer-first manager (he said he was the manager, sad choice by OReily if that's true}.
Purchased a part at O'Reilly for my daughters car. We even did expedited shipping because we needed it urgently. Four days later and the part did not turn up. I contacted O'Reilly and it was determined the part was lost in transit. The worst part is you cannot get reimbursed until they are reimbursed by UPS or the part is returned to them. No consideration is given to the person waiting on the part and whether or not they can afford a new part. The decent thing would be to to send out another part to the customer, while you sort out your problem with UPS. This would be my first and last experience with this company their policy suck. If you have no problem paying for the same part twice then go to O'REILLY. This is why people love shopping at places like Amazon they look out for their customers and does not hesitate to replace the product.
Favorites played, drama, back stabbing, gossip, and talk about coworker who is hearing impaired. Forgot they could lip read...
When it comes to auto parts, forget overpriced "Napa know how", instead, it is better to go with parts from oreilly's of equal quality for a lesser price.
I cannot get the right part in skowhegan oreillys. 3 times now i have recieved the wrong part and i, ll take my business back to napa. They can keep there foriegn junk replacement parts!
I been trying to get my car fixed for the last two days, but can't get anywhere because your employees keep giving me the wrong part. Why are they even working there. HIGHLY UPSET. I might not ever enter your store nor advise anyone else to.
Answer: I never have an idea, but I think contacting the support crew will help do
Answer: Really, I'm not a member, but can recommend them for one
