OnlineJobs.ph has 49 customer reviews and ranks 999th in the Jobs category.
Submit tons of application but none of a single respond (not even a message to tell you out)
I read other reviewers shared the same feeling too, it's no surprised platform fetching sys gen profiles to make it looks really active everyday or maybe hope to get sold one day like the Twitter? But wait, the owner of space-x won't be fooled that easy, is the same tricks gonna work out for u too onlinejobs.ph?
I have used this company for about a year-and-a-half now and I'm very pleased. I also took the challenge. And it gives a lot of insight. I have three people working for me since May of last year 2021
Onlinejobs.ph is a trusted site for outsourcing many technical tasks or jobs.
Highly recommended!
I found my AMAZING VA through onlinejobs.ph. Thank you so much!
My VA helps me run a business while homeschooling and loving my family well.
In 2020 just as COVID was beginning to become a thing I needed to add another Admin to my team so I posted a job opening, which received 200 applicants in one week. A year after that, I did the exact same job posting and even raised my offer until it was twice what I paid the admin I hired a year prior but none from the handful of applicants were remotely close to being hirable.
I then came across Onlinejobs.ph. The site was great because it offered all kinds of educational information on how to understand cultural differences and how to get the right person. This makes me happy because I find it rewarding to be able to provide a good wage to someone that helps them support their family.
When I posted a job with the guidance of onlinejobs.ph, I had gained a huge pool of applicants that were very qualified and had excellent experience and background. I found Elsa, who is one of the best Admins and has become an important part of the team. I've been so happy that I decided to create another position in my company specifically designed for another VA. I hired Melgar a couple of weeks ago and am excited to see him grow with my company!
I've been following John's content for about 2+ years so I was familiar with the space a long time before hiring.
What took me so long?
Before taking the leap I only paid attention to negative reviews, after hiring my second OFS I realized those people are reacting to holes in THEIR business.
Your OFS is not a miracle worker. OnlineJobs.ph is not a miracle matchmaker.
It's a platform, that puts you in contact with real people with coachable skills who are eager to do a great job.
With the right training, patience, and a little trial & error your OFS can handle A LOT.
Your job as an employer is to empower your OFS to complete the work to your standards and create processes that ensure things get done. If you aren't willing to do that, you probably shouldn't be hiring in the first place.
Some games you don't get to play unless you're all in. This is one of them. Take the leap!
I've been using onlinejobs.ph for a couple of years now, to say the least, it's transformed my business!
Not only have I hired quality people off the platform in technical finance roles, we now have 6 full time employees.
I invested in the hiring processes offered by onlinejob.ph and couldn't be happier!
Thank you John and the amazing team in PH!
Take a chance with this business i hope you like it and i am sure if you are a harworking person you can achieve best target
Interviewed 50+ individuals, and recruited up to 30 people over a period of 8 months: 60% dropped out/ ghosted you within 2 weeks of employment with some lame excuses or no excuses. 30% of them either milk you (whilst they have a full time job), display poor punctuality, or wanted higher pay after 2 weeks.
For those UK, US, AUS employers, most applicants on OnlineJobs either have a full time job, or they have so much going on in Life (kids, other moonlighting business, house chores) that, your job is just another stepping stone for additional income. Very few you will find that they are genuinely keen for the job.
If your job doesn't require consistent and on time attendance, commitment, by all means, have them. But if you are looking for sincerity, committed people with good ethics, the experience will be similar to finding a needle in the haystack.
Overall, Out of 30 we've recruited.
1 stayed for 2.5 years, the only positive. (there is hope)
1 stayed for 1.5 year (6 months was her best, 6 months later, signs of productivity declined and plenty of lips service, the remaining 5 months emotional meltdown due to their personal reasons)
1 stayed 2 months. (low skills, and wanted more pay)
The remaining recruits, stayed less than 4 weeks. Either disappeared from thin air, or we terminated their role due to too much home distractions, incompetency (discovered during 1st 3 weeks).
But imagine the time of interview, recruitment, and the paid training down the drain, of the remaining 27. Wasted.
Data stem from late 2018-mid 2019. I hope the management have improved the culture on that site.
Wanted to re-use their service again, but after reading the negative reviews again reminded me of my past experiences.
If management is reading this, you need to work on embedding the following features so that Employer like us don't get disappointed.
- Employer Review (similar to Upwork)
- and other features that Upwork has.
Also.
Get rid of those non-serious, non-committed applicants in your database.
One of their freelancer stole one of our clients then tried to use our resources to help said client. I supplied some screenshots to prove my claim. But they still sided with the freelancer saying since the client agreed to work with said freelancer, then there's nothing they can do about it. That is theft and they allowed it to happen to one of their paying customers.
If not then a well intended sham. The couple negative reviews here are consistent, slow engagement, little follow up, wrong skills. Likely an algorithm throws the multiple job post responses, as I have seen identical replies from different profiles. I think it's a bit shady on company side and the worker side as well, so your getting stuffed from both ends... not a good thing in this case.
Look at all the positive reviews here, do you notice anything...? Similarities. Coincidences... lots of animal and nature loving profile pics huh. I m sure it has worked for some, but not at the scale they suggest. It only has to work once for it to be legit, so yeah, its legit. You could sign up, you could find a good VA, you could not? But the smell test is starting to stink.
I took the suggestion to get several potential candidates before paying the membership fee. One person responded who did not have the requisite skills. Another person responded but did not follow up after I tried to schedule an appointment. No one else responded to my message to determine if they were still for hire. I would not recommend this service if you want to move forward with a hire within two weeks or less. There are other sources that do not charge a membership fee and have a much better response/engagement timeframe.
Some online company gets disadvantage to the people when it comes online game using money they do not know it is scam or legit
