I first heard about Octotasker in the summer of 2023 (a friend had told me about it). I applied for a position, got placed with a client, and had a great experience working with them for quite some time. However, that client ran into some issues and was no longer able to pay their employees, so there were layoffs. But the thing that really impressed me was how quickly octotasker stepped in. They found me another great client almost immediately, and I've been with them for over a year now. That kind of reliability says a lot about how committed the company actually is. I'm really grateful for their support throughout the whole process. They're always communicative, understanding, and genuinely care about their people. I absolutely love working with them and can't recommend them enough!

I recently applied for a job posting and was thrilled when my CV was shortlisted. I was then invited to submit an introductory video, which I promptly completed and sent in. Following this, I was scheduled for an interview with Vjosa Jones, which I confirmed via email.

Unfortunately, on the day of the interview, the interviewer failed to show up. I reached out to Vjosa Jones and the HR team via email, but my messages were met with complete silence.

This experience has left a sour taste, highlighting a concerning level of unprofessionalism.

Was referred to a few people in the agency space. Was able to get us a rockstar in less than 3 day. First day Sarah booked 8 appointments.

Daniel and Vjosa have been a pleasure to work with, every step of the process they helped us find the right person for the job, and went above and beyond getting cold calling training specific for our industry niche. Things took a bit longer than expected because of our specific requirements, but we were kept in the loop the whole time. Highly recommended!

I have worked with this company now going on 6 months. They are extremely knowledgable and have essentially the best english speaking VA's I personally in my 15 years of hiring overseas have seen.

There crazy intense vetting process ensures that the VA's are top notch.

Don't get me wrong though, they are definitely expensive, but they are so worth it. Would you rather spend $5,000 on bad hires or a few hundred on ensuring you get the best of the best...

Don't make the mistakes I made and try to figure out which VA is going to deliver. Spend the couple dollars and get one that can actually do what they say.

I came to * and paid for 3 VA placements. The first set of 2 he tried to send to me - one didn't even show up and one left after a half day never to be heard of again. Neither of them ever did any actual work for me. He got 3 more weeks later. Two of them said they had issues with the pay, one of the two couldn't work the hours I'd laid out that was made known to Octotasker multiple times, she also had another job and couldn't work full time. So now it's 50 days later and I have 0 candidates. I asked for a refund. I was very very patient with them through all of this. They declined, stating "We do not work for free"... that's fine, however if you don't place me with candidates I paid for, its FRAUD. I paid for a service, it was not fulfilled. I have no interest in working with a company that continues to waste my time, and can't find 3 people to work.

They always had excuses. Saying anyone that doesn't want to work will make any excuse. Well isn't it your job to weed that out in the hiring process? That's WHY I hired you - to deal with that. I have never had this many issues hiring on my own. I would never recommend them to anyone, unless you want to be out money and not get any of your roles filled.

After meeting the owners and going through their sales pitch, they severely over-promised and under-delivered. * talks a big game upfront, but failed to provide a trained VA in a timely manner. We were promised a VA within a week, and didn't receive one until after we complained about a breach of contract. That is, they never provided a trained VA, they never went through the contracts, processes and expectations, and they continuously made excuses as to why the VA assignment was delayed.
More importantly, * went on an unprofessional tirade, personally attacking my partner with degrading and condescending comments about us. Furthermore, the first indication of shady practices was the requirement to wire transfer funds vice a credit card. At the "threat" of exposing them, they stated it was a termination of the contract, with no refund. HOWEVER, they deceptively scheduled a VA onboarding appointment the next day and sent us their SOPs, to present the appearance of contract fulfillment. NOTE: This company is not listed on the BBB, which should also be an indication of their legitimacy. BUYER BEWARE!

I used to use Upwork to hire freelancers but it became ever more difficult to find good candidates for my VA roles. The trouble is Fiverr and Upwork have no screening methods leaving me to feel like a recruiter rather than a business owner. For the same price Octotasker screened the candidates for me and provided exactly what I wanted.

I hired x3 and they are still with me now. One has gone full time and the other two are still freelancing.

Octotasker literally provides Virtual Assistant Classes prior to hiring and it helped me land numerous gigs with their clients.

Found what I needed to help my business through Octotasker. The owner of the company was very excited to help my business. Very professional and polite.

Octotasker was able to get me a contract job and I got paid without any hassle. I must commend their good work and professionalism.

I have been working for the company for a while now, and have previously worked for the founder before. I have never had any issues with the company nor the clients we maintain. Like every company it has it's flaws, but eveyron in the company is focused everyday on improving and growing the company. I have always been treated with respect and have always been paid on time and accordingly. Professionally I have grown as a person, and have learned a lot while working here! For applicants and potential clients I can't recommend this company enough.
