Have always watched and enjoyed the olympics. This year after the disgraceful kneeling by US Women's Soccer I refused to watch any Olympic competitions (not one).
You are to represent your country not yourself.
Worst coverage in memory. Too many comercials. Yes it takes 28+ minutes but still has strategy. They did a split screen with no sound. It was a waist of effort in my opinion.
They say they are working on it, but how do you ignore Apple users before the most important sports broadcasts in 5 years! AppleTV remote controls are disabled for all replay and live broadcasts on the NBCOlympics.com app. Yikes! No stop, no jump, no rewind and if you discontinue a replay for any reason, you have to start at the beginning. For most 2-3 hour events, this is obsurd. BTW, the ads actually interrupt play. Could it be advertising dollars greed at work? Doubtful, as the engineering misstep is just too egregious. I complained to Apple that NBC is ripping off its customers. NBC - Why on earth would you interview the US flag bearers as they are walking in the opening ceremony? It distracted their experience, took away from their fellow athletes and ruined it for anyone watching from the US. Here's an idea … interview them another time. Seriously, this was another example of stupid media! # fail
This year, NBC did not measure up to its usual excellence in the Olympics. Too many personal opinions and not enough emphasis on the techniques of each Olympian. Plus, favoritism showed. Hope next time, will be less biased with focus on the games not the politics.
You suck NBC - I want LIVE Olympic coverage - Thanks to NBC trying to make more money, the rest of the world gets to watch the Olympics live, but we in the US get stuck with 12 hour delayed coverage.

If you are from the US you are prevented from watching the live videos from other countries. This is such crap. I hate you NBC.
Anyone know any ways around this? (other than moving to another country =)
