MyFlexJob has 40 customer reviews and ranks 339th in the Work At Home category. Common review topics include data entry.
How is this site even up? Absolutely a scam. I usually check things out. But they did a dang good job of making it seem legitimate. I too thought it was a data entry company. You can do all of the same things through inboxdollars.com for FREE. Unfortunately, the only people reading these reviews have most likely already spent their money and fell for it just like us saps... I hope I get my money back.
This is a scam! I would not advise anyone to do this.
I wish I had seen this review page before I fell for it. This is a scam. I got my money back from mypcbackup and canceled my account. As far as my flex jobs... It's not data entry verifying email addresses like they tell you. It's completing offers from companies that cost money AND stupid surveys. I was on the site for ten minutes trying to complete a survey and every one said I wasn't qualified. Total rip off. Stay far away. Luckily mypcbackup did refund my money but I read somewhere that they are in cahoots with myflexjobs. Total scam on both ends. Stay away!
I am not happy! I was promised jobs processing worksheets for companies trial offers and what i have been given is Surveys that want me to spend MONEY I DON'T HAVE to get points! This IS NOT WHAT what they said. This is a rip off!
Why is it I have to pay to join Flexjobs in the beginning, then I have to pay for a backup plan, then the jobs talked about on the videos r not offered, only those wretched surveys... really? And in order to get a decent paying survey, you have to buy some of the product on the survey to get the credits, the more u pay the more credits u earn? That's not earning, that's called purchasing. And then when I go to flexjobs to look for a different job type, they say its another fee to access that. There seems to be a lot of hide and seek promises and fees to this site, and people beware of those hidden automatic renew fees. My p. C back up tried to renew my backup acct in less than a wk. I had a month to go... not happy at all. Maybe I should look into writing about my experiences with these smokescreen companies? I don't know about u, but I need to earn a living, not go broke playing these silly rip off games.
You've heard the saying as many times as I have: If it sounds too good to be true... and yet I was almost bilked out of $100 dollars. They claim in the video that there is absolutely no "out of pocket" expense. This is an outright lie. After purchasing MyPCBackup and downloading the app I could not license my Android. After the invoice was received via email, I attempted more than once to get certified as a new employee with access clearance to get the assignments. Fat chance buddy! The instructions for copying & pasting the complete invoice onto the certification form did not work for me. After numerous tries, I gave up and raised my white flag.
Oh, and another trap I stumbled upon is the way the "upgrade" order portal is set-up. New recruits cannot review the upgrade packages before making a decision. One click buster and you just bought the higher priced option. Voiding the credit card transaction through customer service was another ordeal I don't want to go into at this time!
My calendar has been programmed with an alert to remind me to call and cancel my "overpriced and good for nothing" backup application.
Seriously! COMPLETE scam! MyFlexJob.com is one huge scam. The PC back up they require is part if it as well!
BEWARE! Mypcbackup.com puts massive amounts of spyware on your computer! The video is a lie! This Sandy person lead you to believe you are processing other peoples trial offers validating their email addresses etc.
You are the one having to fulfill the trial offers for them and many others surveys that are asking for your email and try out cost from cents to $10. And having had some experience in the past with some of these things, sure you can sign up for their program or their trial offer but if you do not cancel within the 30 day. You will be charged. Therefore if you process eight 10, or 12 of these a day you have to remember to write down and keep some very specific logs of who you need to go back and cancel within the 30 days, or your credit cards will be maxed out within no time. This is a scam! I figured this out within 10 minutes of downloading the my PC back up program. I even wonder if the my PC back up program is not involved in this scam. Clearly if you have to lie on a video, and not be straight up and forthcoming with the truth about what and who you are people be where this is a scam! You are not working for somebody elseit is you, yes, you are the person who has to do the trial offers! BEWARE! IS A WASTE OF TIME AND COMPLETE SCAM
I'm trying to get my money back but there's no way of contacting anyone on that site. Very unprofessional and I dislike the site
I honestly believed got Scammed! Got charged $119.00 for the software back up... But the good thing I cancelled my account on MyPCBackUp.
Never heard from them after I downloaded the software.
I have been looking for a work from home job that I could do. Someone inbox me on facebook telling me about myflexjobs.com. I was told that I would get paid $23.75 an hour to do data entry for different compaines. However after signing up and doing the steps needed to get started, I come to realize that this is just another trail offer BS website that wants you to keep paying and paying. Not to mention they say that it's free to start, but then sends you to a site where you have to download a My PC Back up, and you have to pay for that in order to even go to the next step. Once you do that and you get to the assignments area and you click on one of the compaines to do what you think is going to be DATA ENTRY, you soon realize that you have been tricked into a completing TRAIL OFFERS WEBSITE, Not data entry. I quickly got on my phone and called My PC Back Up and canceled my account and asked for my money to be put back on my card ASAP. What a total waste of my time even reading about this company and watching their videos. I lost an hour of my life on this BS Lie. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
SHOULD BE AWARE BIG SCAM HE SEND YOU YOU TO GET MY PC BACKUP THE COMPANY MAKES MONEY OFF YOU YOU DON'T MAKE NO MONEY STAY CLEAR
They tell you that if you sign up for a year subscription it's only $5.95 a month but charges for a full year, and if your on a budget like me your account is over drawn. And you get 36.00 or more charges to your account, plus you can not get a authorization code for the bank to reverse the Chargers!
I'm so mad-AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS! IT IS A SCAM! DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH FLEXJOBS LIKE I DID. FLEX JOBS: LEGIT - MYFLEXJOBS: ILLEGAL!
I thought for once this could be a great opportunity. Boy was i wrong.the guy sounded very convincing.my flexjob is a complete scam. Stay far away
I did and tried my best to login so I can complete some assignments with flexjobs.com. I was lied to in the emails I get on a daily. I will like to have my $37 and change back in my possession cause I can't pay for things that is not true. I just wish all these emails stop coming to my inbox about a opportunity on making money from home. I never in my life made a dime online. If for anything I lost thousands investing in myself with all of these fake business out here in the world. Please myflexjob.com, stop emailing me and reimburse me my money. The $25 that I suppose to be getting was also a lie. Never again will I get involve in some type of online business unless I'm the one who created or found the online business. I'm tied of being scammed by scammers. You scam artist will not get into my pockets anymore. It is bad enough that I do t got much and the people who scam make things sound so true and real. There is no way I will take time out of my schedule and place videos online which is lies explaining how much funds can be made with a business that is based on people who love to scam individuals out of their hard money.
Total scam, violates several laws. Claims no money up front, then says you have to buy a product no one needs in order to qualify. Tells you it's a data entry, email address verification job, but it's nothing more than filling out offers, with *your* credit card, to get points that you can supposedly cash out when you get enough, that being 50,000. Clearly fraud in several ways, whoever runs it should be in prison for consumer fraud.
As others have found out the hard way this site is not what they sell it to be. I too fell for it so I am telling anyone that is looking at to stay away. It is not a job that you get a paycheck for doing work for their fortune 500 companies as they promote it to be. You have to click ads from companies promoting free trials, surveys and other stuff. Inoat cases you have pay s&h, sign up for free trial and if you forget to cancel you get billed. Each offer has a credit point value and your need 1000 credits to make $10. Most of the offers didn't even work for me and you have to do 5000 credits tlbefore they pay you. Just not wourth it!
I fell for this and I'm so mad. I signed up, downloaded the software they required (mypcbackup.com) and upgraded as they required for $25 with the promise I would be "automatically reimbursed." Now I'm stuck, no money, can't login, not contact information for them. I called a company with a similar name, hoping it was the same (flexjobs.com) and they told me that they get regular calls from people who have been scammed by myflexjob and that they have zero association with them, and in fact are pretty angry that myflexjob has used their name to cause confusion for people.
I hope this helps prevent someone else from being scammed by stupid MyFlexJob.
My Flex Job claimed to be a work from home site however once completing all steps and required the paid software download I was brought to a job board where I was to complete trial offers and paid offers. These were the very offers talked about in the training that I would be verifying information for not being asked to buy stuff from.
