I ordered a Moana bikini, one-piece, and top after seeing them on Instagram and watching their live Fiji launch party. I followed their sizing guide and chose a medium for the bikini and a large for the one-piece. However, there's no real-life sizing reference on their Instagram or website to help customers understand what sizes models are wearing or their actual measurements. Unlike Rent the Runway, which provides clear and helpful sizing feedback, Moana falls short in this area.

For context: I'm 5'6", weigh 136 pounds, have a tummy, skinny legs, a 36D chest, and I'm 58 years old. I'm in good shape for my age and want to wear a bikini confidently. Unfortunately, the bikini top was way too small, and the bottoms were not only too small but also very cheeky in the back. The one-piece fit fine overall, despite the cheeky backside, but the large was too big on me—the straps kept falling off, and the sides were baggy. As for the top, it's made from a weird, stiff fabric (not a regular tee), and I ordered the only M/L option, which ended up being way too big.

The fabric and prints are fantastic, but customer service is terrible. Caveat emptor—let the buyer beware. If you look closely, their website explicitly states there are ZERO returns, which makes accurate sizing guidance even more crucial. I even emailed them pictures of myself to ask for help with sizing. I might give them one more shot because the prints are so cute, but beware—their bottoms are very high-rise in the back, so you need to be okay with showing a lot of your butt.

They should provide better sizing references and incorporate technology, like an AI tool that allows customers to upload their photo and virtually try on the swimsuits. This would make the shopping experience so much better!

I ordered several bikinis from Moana, I was very happy with the fit. I wore them once and went in the water and they got very loose after one use and I can't wear them again. Wtf is a bikini that cannot handle water? Completely overpriced for a single use bikini

I've ordered a swimsuit now over 6 weeks ago, I even paid for express shipping. It STILL hasn't arrived. I was told that it was on the customer to make sure that I knew when it was arriving, and I've been tracking this package very closely. I've gone through all my USPS & Australia post emails & notifications. I was never notified. I was notified that it was delivered to my address! I checked & did not. It was returned to the company & and it still said it was delivered to my address when it was not so now I'm in this back-and-forth trying to get my package that I spent over $100. One of the emails I received that it was the customers responsibility and they went on a small tangent about that… then In another email they admitted to knowing that they have had issues with the mail services they choose to use. I have second handed Moana pieces, as a company I'm pretty disappointed they do a lot of false advertising by saying buy a swimsuit get a swimsuit for free but it's quite literally just a reversible swimsuit, you won't receive an additional swimsuit as advertised … that is straight up FALSE ADVERTISING. It also strikes as false advertising when the owner Irina has built her whole brand on being size inclusive… yet she doesn't make styles that are multi body friendly & then my favorite part, she photo shops her photos! For a smaller waist & bigger butt, it's just discouraging... & honestly just $#*! talking the "size 2 stick thing girls… so I made this brand" which is $#*!ing rude man. We can't be size inclusive, and then talk $#*! about the girls that are smaller than you. It's just rude. It's bad business.also I would love to have a Customer service person not sound like a teenager in trying to do deal with this issue.

I was so excited to order from here. I measured myself to ensure I got the correct size before ordering (medium), and I just ordered bottoms. They are quite pretty to look at but that's about where the pro's end. They are so brief in the crotch area...I honestly ended up with a front wedgie when trying these on...yep that's right, both lips just pop out the sides! I am never going to be able to wear these. I am surprised at how poorly designed these are. I am annoyed as well because I've realised I can't return them because I bought them on sale. I received an email with a link to provide feedback (a review) on their website. I gave my honest opinion and my review has not been displayed. Looking at all the other reviews I noticed they are all 5 stars. This dodgy company obviously only posts the positive reviews and discards the ones from those of us who have not had a good experience with their product. I wish I had noticed this before I decided to purchase this very expensive pair of bottoms. I think I will stick to buying bathers from surf shops like I usually do. I urge others to steer clear of this crap company!

Found out that anything with a discount code is considered a sale item and therefore cannot be exchanged or returned even if its from thier new range. They told me I should of read the return policy and got sizing advice but I even got advice on what size to buy and it still didn't fit. The woman running customer service sounds like she's 21, she just told me too bad read the policy even though I can still buy the same blue bikini on the website. Definitely avoiding. Apparently the material runs really badly as well, when wet.

I really loved the bikinis so I thought to give it a chance and purchase them even though they're really expensive. Only for both bottoms to not fit me (I looked at their sizing chart). And then I come to the realisition that I can't return any of them because I used a discount code? Who does this? I just think it's disgusting, because now I have spent €200 on 2 bikinis that won't fit me. I will NEVER order with moana bikini again!

I've ordered from them twice. The first time I was around a size 14. I ordered a one piece. It fit pretty well, a little on the snug side but that's fine. The second one piece I ordered was from their next collection. It was a completely different cut. Granted I was then a size 16 (although their size guide said that would be fine) however my boobs physically couldn't stay within the lines of the fabric. It fit much like borats mankini. I will never be ordering from them again as it's clear their "inclusivity" tag only applies to those from size 6-12 (maybe 14 at a push for certain styles) and there is no returns policy. Only exchange. If the only one piece doesn't fit me what hope do I have of a bikini being any better.
Very disappointing.

VERY rude customer service. (Even of the boss that girl Karina) Tops WAY too small only fits a six year old girl. Size chart completely wrong! Way too expensive! Ugly material not like the pictures. And they ask way too much shipping money but also return is $30. So bikini is around $200 if you need to return. Next time go on a Chinese website with fake moana bikinis, only $10, customer service so friendly! And quality and size even better.
