I am a big fan of the Air Shammy but not a fan of this nozzle. They just are to fragile for the environment they are being used in. It really needs to be redesigned. Maybe even a redesign of the holder. It’s just made to be hitting the ground and being banged around.
These are the only option, but I find they damage easily with regular customer use.
I have had several of these nozzles and they all seem to leak air. When purchasing replacements I run into problems where the hose always detaches from the nozzle every few weeks.
Bought 3 to replace my old ones that were leaking. Swivel will not stay in the cuff. Talked to Diskin, sent me new swivels. Riveted them onto the brand new guns I bought. All of them have nothing but issues, when the gray cuff gets warm, the swivel falls out. Finally got to the point I put self tapping screws so they wouldn't swivel. Im fortunate the nozzles have not walked off. Replaced with Air Logic. My old ASHNOZ lasted 3 years, which I felt was appropriate for the use they got.
All of these guns (I have 8 for a total of 8 bays) leak significant air near the trigger, decreasing air pressure from the outlet barrel. This is a design/manufacturing defect that really cannot be rectified. The replacements are also very expensive.
Stopped using this and switched to a different manufacturer's handle. Exhausting to hold the trigger to dry and it seems to leak air. Wish the manufacture would provide a simpler/better solution.
If they last a summer, that means I didn’t do any business.
Exhausting to use the gun. Trigger starting sticking after a year and switched to a different gun without a trigger.
Been having problems with these guns since we had our Diskin system installed in November 2018. Guns are cheaply made (rivets are too short & fall out, gun separates & leaks air, trigger handle sticks). Just replaced with Air Logic (part #AD2000). Provides 25% MORE air with less maintenance! Customers are thrilled!
Junk. Try Air Logic gun and you'll see what I mean.
Leaks most the air out of the trigger
Purchased 3 of these and all three were very poorly manufactured. More air leaks out of the joints, than comes out of the nozzle.
Awesome!
Kinda expensive for replacement part... maybe another alternative should be looked into for this. It does work well.
