I applied for a highly competitive position a while back. 450 applicants for just 10 jobs (although I didnt know that until today...) and I was offered an interview. At 48 what chance did I have. In preparation on the first day I researched (for 10 hours) the government policies and procedures relating to the job in question. Day 2 for 10 hours I revised all my previous post grad qualifications and studies. Day 3 I thought I may need to look at what I needed to do in preparation for an interview. Out of that I purchased your book on-line. Another 12 hours of hard work in preparation with 3 days after revising what I had learned before the actual interview.

This is no ad or paid bull to promote you. I had my back against the wall. I had run my own business for 8 years and employed numerous people. But here I was at 48 looking for a change for myself, my marriage and my kids. We all needed a change.

So in consultation with my wife and business co-director I bought your interview preparation book. I didnt need to learn all the answers. I learned what was behind the questions. What I gained was invaluable not one of the set questions came up at the nerve-wracking and crucial interview. But in other ways they did and because of the work I had done I was able to meet the expectations.

I had gone for the one interview and today received the call from HR 3 weeks later that out of 450 applicants I was one of the 10 who was successful. Whilst much of that was down to my own initiative, experience, qualifications and work, I have to say buying your book was unbelievably helpful. It took me the crucial extra percentage to gain the advantage and helped me understand more fully what was behind the questions being asked.

This was not a cheap shot job. This was in a highly competitive field where I had to shine to beat down 440 other people.

No one would believe I am not paid to write this to advertise you! I dont know you from a bar of soap but I want you at least to have the feedback that, thanks to you, I have secured a highly desirable post that is life-changing for us as a family and makes me excited as we embark on a new chapter in our lives.
